In the two preceding parts of the text about the glorious servant Apollo, something has already been said of his important and beneficial working upon life on Earth

His radiation is a life-giving influx of irreplaceable forces for all the development and ascent of nature on Earth, and thereby also of human society

If, then, a man strives for healing and for the drawing of new strength for his body, then precisely in the present time he needs to draw all kinds of Apollo's radiation for his organism, and this above all for his fully valuable connection with the finer bodies formed out of ethereal and out of animistic substance

All these kinds of coverings are influenced in man by the strengthening radiation of Apollo's sunlight

This is because the Sun, under the effect of Apollo's working, radiates not only on the plane of gross material radiation, but also on the levels of the ethereal and of the animistic degree of life

This radiation flowed to the Earth from the beginning of its coming into being

All the fulfilling of Erda on the surface of the Earth was always closely bound up with the radiation coming from Apollo's solar body

So it was through the long ages of all human generations

Men received it as something natural, without reflecting for a moment that anything of it could be otherwise

The Sun and its radiation always appeared to men as something unshakable in the ever-repeated emergence of its rays on the morning horizon

Yet in the end human conduct, in its harmful cunning, altered something important in the blessedness of the rays

Through human conduct this radiation has been disturbed in its favourable streaming towards life on Earth over the last hundred years, and above all in the last decades

The disturbing currents of radiated waves around the Earth form an ever denser mesh, through which the fine radiation that is a part of the sunlight cannot pass without being set trembling by the artificial radiation produced by human technical activity

In the curtailment of the original strengthening radiation the Earth has become sick, together with all the creatures who are permitted to dwell upon it

Herfeline, who bends down to the life on this earthly plane, calls to all creatures to care now with the highest responsibility for their bodily vessels

The animals fulfil this call of hers in the most glorious and most natural way

But man remains standing in his dulling deafness and with mockery rejects the call which could be of the greatest help to him even at a time when as yet nothing is visibly lacking to his body

For every creature who suffers want and sickness, or who is only drawing near to this condition, Herfeline brings a way out of the direction in which he finds himself

She brings the simplest forms of help, which nevertheless always show a way out through their effect

Even in the most entangled hours there is always a way out towards possible healing

Almost always the sun's rays which Apollo sends to the Earth play an important part in this

Men do not grasp the connection of the radiation of his rays with the way these can be joined and completed with the other helping kinds of radiation which can be brought to the body through food, herbs, water and animistic magnetism or by further paths

For the right and healthy thriving of the body, which at the same time is able to receive and absorb Apollo's radiation from the Sun into the blood, man needs to have the organ of the liver in complete order

Only when the liver is in order does its capacity to absorb and to pass on the solar radiation into the blood also work effectively for the health of man

Therefore the relation of the Sun, the liver and the blood radiation is closely bound together, this radiation being formed precisely through the co-operation of the mentioned elements of health

Where this happens in full accord, there we shall not find so much opportunity for sicknesses, and at the same time the spirit too is rightly anchored in such a body, and through the healthy radiation of the blood it works in the earthly world more surely and more self-assuredly

And it is Herfeline in particular who, especially in the sick time of today, urges the healing of the liver and thereby also of the blood, for the liver is the basic key to success also for her further healing of the various sicknesses among men

Besides all the human sicknesses which we know, there are now in movement on Earth several further new sicknesses sent out by the servant Haerthemis, which in themselves are indeed not grave sicknesses, yet under certain conditions can call forth the gravity of a sickness and even bring about a threat to earthly life

These sicknesses too can be withstood through man learning to absorb rightly into his body the radiation from the sun's rays

A sign of this right reception of the mentioned solar radiation is vitamin D

Even though in its composition it has nothing in common with the actual radiation on the plane of the described ethereal and animistic radiation of Apollo, its state in the human organism shows the capacity of the liver to receive that finer radiation at least in part, despite its present strong disturbance in the vicinity of the Earth

We may regard this as a certain prospect of a higher resistance in such a bodily organism

It is the same in the case of the element iodine, which like vitamin D is a certain indication of the state of the organism in its strength and its resistance to many sicknesses

These indicators are only a small glimpse of all that in which the earthly body can show the degree of its health

There are of course still more such indicators through which the state of health can be recognised in man's radiation, but these need not be mentioned here

Where one of the basic indicators is lacking, there is a strong likelihood that the body of man will be weakened and that its capacity to withstand outward influences will sink to complete surrender

Herfeline now brings to men ways of strengthening the resistance of their bodies against outward influences, as a substitute for the weakening of Apollo's radiation

It is, however, only a substitute for the original full value which always and under all circumstances belongs to the glorious radiation of Apollo's Sun

Apollo, how glorious is this radiant servant of Valhalla

If men knew how much blessed power flows to them from the heights of the levels of animistic working, they would at once have to blush for their childish self-exaltation, which tore them away from all helps when the intellect of man stepped out upon an entirely deviated direction of development, one that in the end brings nothing but the experience of man's complete isolation in his deluded notion that he knows everything best

In this an entirely new view of the manner and the content of their earthly life awaits those men who still open their inner being to a new knowledge of the world of animistic working

The notion held hitherto of the uniqueness of man as a creature who far and wide in this universe stands furthest in his cleverness and foresight in forming and changing matter for some purpose and goal will fall away entirely

In reality it is so with every single moment of the working of all the animistic servants who surround and at the same time pervade this gross material world

Their working is indeed by far wiser than the cultivated cleverness of man's intellect attains today

Men will recognise that if they followed the counsel of the animistic servants they would never have the cares which now arise for them, whether these concern matters of society or matters of their own person

There would always be sufficient ways out and helps on the part of the animistic servants, who in their foreseeing wisdom would bring to the individual man and to all mankind a prospect for the continuation of a path on which there would always be accord and the harmony of balance, such as we know it today in that nature which has still remained untouched by the human hand

Everywhere that man has so far entered this balance has been broken and thrown into such unsteadiness that now a grave condition of complete collapse threatens

In the case of the individual man it is then a question of a condition in which the equilibrium and harmony of all his parts, that is of the spiritual, the soul and the material bodily, is to be mirrored

And precisely for the maintaining of this connection a certain kind of radiation runs through all the degrees, the reflection of which on the gross material plane is the blood of man

Its radiation is the bearer of the layers of the levels through which man is joined together, in like manner as cloth is joined by an elastic thread which allows movement and a certain freedom to the parts of the cloth, yet at the same time, despite the mentioned mobility, always holds everything surely and firmly together

In the finest degree of the blood picture there lies the bridge for the life in the body, and at the same time there are on this plane also a number of important radiations which determine whether man will go the way of sickness or the way of health

Of this degree of radiation science today knows nothing, for since everything finer that lies above the degrees of gross matter escapes it, all knowledge of these fine degrees of the radiation of man's blood escapes it as well

Despite this fineness, however, this kind of radiation is exceedingly important for man, and it is formed through the effect of the solar plexus and of the liver, which lie in close proximity

Here the flow of these two influences unites into one result, which in the end shows itself in the radiation of the blood as lustre or as dullness

This difference is given for observation to clairvoyant people who have from Herfeline the rare gift of healing

The lustre and the sparkle of the blood arise with the participation of that kind of solar radiation which is unconditionally needful for the life of man

Should this radiation be curtailed or disturbed over a long time, then a weakening of man's whole condition sets in and his natural resistance here in the gross material body gradually sinks

It is not at once, it is not in the space of years, it comes rather in the space of decades, but the weakening is there and only waits for the opportunity through which it will then show itself at the weakest place in the body

With each of men it may have an entirely different course and form

With one the sickness unfolds literally overnight, with another the growth of the weakness lasts a long time before the decisive break in its development is reached

After this break there is then already a swift descent and the connection of the spirit with the body grows ever weaker

This weakening too shows itself in different ways, for with one the protective kind of cells fails, those which take care of all intruders and also of the inner faults in the working of the individual organs and parts of the body

With another the disturbed radiation brings difficulties in the nerves of the brain, and such a man loses mastery over his thoughts and over his whole capacity to reason

Although the spirit is still the same, the instruments of the brain fail in its governing of the body and he becomes a prisoner in his own body, for from the outward view he is held by today's science to be a disintegrated personality

The real cause, however, lies solely and only in the radiation of the blood, which from the moment of the break begins ever more to worsen, until at last it comes to the necessary end which shows itself in the loosening of the soul covering of man's spiritual core from the earthly body

All that science does not yet know today lies in the renewal of the radiation of the blood, which for the holding of its bridge between spirit and body needs to have the mentioned sparkle and lustre

Whoever has ever occupied himself with the radiation of the blood in transfusions of another's blood knows how strongly the blood of another man can shake the radiation of the receiver

If the blood of the donor is bright and sparkling, then for the good there may come unexpected changes in the condition of the man for the better, but only until the weak liver and the insufficient radiation of the solar plexus again change this blood back to the original radiation

If, however, the blood of the donor is dark and dull, without lustre and without spark, then even to an otherwise healthy man it may bring difficulties in his health for as long as it takes him to form new blood cells of his own

It is a whole field which will only yet be explored and also used in the helping of men, when the radiation of the blood with the aid of clairvoyant people will determine the manner and the direction of the treatment of the sick

The ways of this healing will go in two directions

One direction will lie in the strengthening of the radiation through the solar plexus, wherein the radiation of Apollo's rays will be of the greatest importance

The second direction will go through the strengthening and the healing of the organ of the liver, and this by means of a prescribed composition of food and drink for the sick

If in this the knowledge of those who help moves ever onward towards a higher knowing, then gradually a time will come on Earth when there will be no sickness that is not curable

There will remain only the condition of a harder or an easier struggle with the sickness

Of course those who know sense that of significance in the whole course is also the state of man's own spiritual volition, for this naturally decides the outcome

Let us assume, however, that this volition is pure and genuinely directed towards the Light

In the unfolding of a sickness several causes may show themselves, such as the karma of past lives, thoughtless eating and the manner of living at a certain time of life, also the radiation of the stars and perhaps still further causes which need not be fully written out, for they are isolated and few

If, then, a sickness unfolds, he who helps with the treatment needs to ascertain the degree of the lustre and of the sparkle of the blood

If he finds a weakening, then in the time to come on Earth it will be a matter of course to turn in supplication to Herfeline and to her helpers, that they may counsel the healing man on the way to strengthen the radiation in the case of that particular person

Radiation will always play a great part in this, and the recognising of it may be called a special kind of clairvoyance, which will be like an X-ray view of the radiation of the blood and of the whole man

If such a view uncovers a weakness in the spectrum of the radiation, then the needed radiation may be added, that which in the given patient showed itself as weakened or as entirely lacking

Through the supplementing of such radiation the activity of the liver and of the solar plexus is strengthened, and thereby the life force in man is restored, so that the body soon deals with almost every sickness, however varied the degree of its unfolding may be

The future healing of the earthly body is hidden in the radiation of the blood, in the activity of the liver and in the strengthening of the solar plexus

Everything else may be called only a supplementary manifestation of the treatment

Today men still cannot believe such a thing, for they suppose that the body is a complicated organism which has many hidden properties

In reality everything is simple and easy, and it lies in the recognition of a new outlook which will always look first of all to the organ of the liver and to the solar plexus, from which comes the foundation of all success in the treatment of any place in the body

Today this radiation is greatly weakened by the way in which the wholeness of the spectrum of the fine radiation of the sun's rays is broken up through the artificial influence of human working

It may even be said in this that until an effective change is begun in this direction on the part of men, the state of sickness will rise steeply

A weakened radiation of the blood is a fact with almost every one of men

Whether men withstand sickness for the greater part of their life is given by the nature of the spirit's own radiation through the solar plexus

The weakening, however, grows gradually with the years, and thereby there comes an ever greater susceptibility to the collapse of the healthy bridge of the blood radiation in man

Although by a certain kind of care for the organ of the liver and also for the nerves of the solar plexus a good state of bodily health can to a certain degree be defended, the weakening that lies in the disturbance of the solar radiation shows itself in the sinking strength and capacity of the organism and also in its impaired resistance, which was proper to earlier generations on an entirely different level than it is today

In the animistic world, however, at this very moment the redress of man's childishly wilful failing is being prepared

In the solar radiation of Apollo's working there is now supplemented, with a marked becoming luminous, that very radiation which for more than a hundred years has been disturbed by the way men interfere with the spectrum of electromagnetic radiation over the whole surface of the Earth

This solar radiation is now being continually increased and works as a healing power for all that swings in the right and healthy attunement

Where, however, this radiation strikes weak places, there it first brings a shock and may even bring great unexpected changes in the capacity of the human organism to withstand outward sicknesses

For some time, then, there will be a collision of the strengthened radiation in which men will have to stand firm, for as yet there is on Earth no will to change direction in the established technical striving of men

This will bring great transformations which men will regard as an intervention of a divine kind

In reality this is so only in part

That which now brings the growing happening is only the strengthened effect of the work of the animistic servants, which in the case of Apollo collides with the result of man's wrong technical and intellectual activity

The animistic servants work in the Will of God, but their influence takes effect only upon all that comes from the workshop of Subsequent Creation

That is, in the basic distinction, the animistic, the soul and the gross material

The Judgment of God, however, touches the human spirit itself

The degree of his radiation of purity and of the brightness of his shining determines what power will come to him from the Ray of Parzival

This happening in its full impact upon the Earth is yet to come

As yet we are exposed only to the first effects of its radiation

Happy are those men who in their pure and simple assent to the Light are best prepared for the coming of all that now draws near to the Earth
