How It Will Go On With This Earth

Many questions hover over men who wish to arrive at a clearer prospect of how it will be with this Earth, with the life dwelling upon it, and above all how it will be with men themselves

For these questions there is as yet no clear picture which would bring a strengthening answer

Indeed, it is a literal tangle of thought-forms and of wishes both of feeling and of intuitive perception which today circles around the picture that should bring something more about the future of this planet and of the whole surrounding universe

By many a clear announcement of what is to come is awaited impatiently

With their view towards the time now not far off, in which they sense great changes, men rightly connect also their own future or the future of those nearest to them, to whom they would so gladly give the reassuring promise of a continuation of human existence upon Earth

It is natural that this is so, and the ever stronger longing to know what is coming therefore grants no peace to a great number of men

The long uncertainty prevailing in this brings only an increase of tension and of bitterness

In the many predictions of the prophets of old a way out of the present distress is therefore feverishly sought

Great is the endeavour of those earnestly searching to find a clear direction

Yet despite all the feverish and earnest striving the prospect of the coming happening remains only clouded and filled with doubts, or rather with fear and distrust

It is also shaken by wholly false predictions

All this happens only because the present human expectation of the future proceeds in almost every case from wrong foundations

Most often the expectations mentioned are those of men influenced by material science, expectations which proceed from a purely gross material framework of understanding the world

The contradictions and the constant changes in these prospects lead, instead of to a calming, only to still greater uncertainty and apprehension

The abilities of the scientists and of their researches are, however, excluded in advance from the possibility of attaining a successful prospect, on account of their proud, self-assured and excessive concentration upon everything material alone

This concentration is caused by the intellect, which is closely bound to matter

And for some time now this intellectual way has offered no calming whatever, but on the contrary it confirms to all men of purer perception the fact that the material striving has gone along wrong paths from the very beginning

Thus instead of an illumined recognition of the coming happening there gathers today before the eyes of most materialists only a growing menace of cares and discomforts which these men supposed, but a short time ago, to be for them for ever a thing of the past

Yet wherever they turn today, there after a while they already strike against a limit and have new doubts

Materially minded men, relying only upon scientific findings, may openly be called the blind leaders of mankind

For the perceiving of all those connections which fulfil themselves in the universe upon the plane of the finer levels of the animistic and spiritual kind these men truly are blind

They are the warning confirmation of the term “spiritless aridity,” because through their calculations they have lost the capacity for a healthy perceiving of actual life, which proceeds from foundations other than the coarse matter here

To the understanding of the whole of the work of Creation the materialists come with unsuitable instruments and methods

Therefore they cannot recognise the actual life pulsating in Creation, they can never grasp it, still less can they then intuitively perceive it in its liveliness and find with it a joyful, trusting consonance

Men influenced by the materialistic intellect can therefore never have a right prospect of what is now coming

Nevertheless a great part of them have become dogmatic clingers to what science provides, and they coarsely ridicule everything else, because with their instruments they feel themselves superior to all that is invisible to earthly eyes, be it of animistic, of spiritual or even of divine origin

This dogma of science will soon, however, be of secondary importance, because it will become irrelevant for the experiencing of millions of men

Beside the intellectual men there are here also many sensitive ones, and these perceive that a grave change is indeed approaching upon all the planes of human existence

In these sensitive men a higher receptivity naturally awakens for the recognition of the false striving of the existing world

To become sensitised, however, does not yet mean to have a clear prospect

The sensitive ones are upon a good path, yet in many cases they still lack the indispensable knowledge of the Truth

In their intuitive sensing they subconsciously perceive that the most important thing which men are to do is, in their straying through life, blasphemously squandered with each further day

This causes a pressure upon the intuitive inner being, in which at the same time a way out is lacking

Therefore many men, sensitive through their receptivity, come to the conclusion that this planet no longer has a future before it, for it seems to them that everything which could have saved this future is already lost

Such reasoning is given by a narrowed kind of thinking which bears the mark of severance from all the happening in Creation that is inspired by the Light

One can only have compassion with such sensitised men, and it should be a reason to help them upon their path, if indeed they are open to this help

Just like the materially minded mentioned above, neither are these men, more receptive through their sensitising, freed from the narrow circle of the world-view here, and therefore they too unfold their endeavour to see into the coming happening chiefly only by way of the present, which they strive to push forward along the same tracks

Thereby they naturally must see before them the end of a blind path in the collapse of the greater part of all that human hands and thoughts have touched here upon Earth, hands and thoughts which in their doings are remote from co-operation with the great harmony of the whole work of Creation

Into the consciousness of the sensitised seeing men it penetrates more and more that mankind as a whole has failed and is wholly forsaken by the Light in the materialities

In its foundation this is not perceived wrongly

This perceiving, however, lacks the important continuation which follows the actual principle of the working of the Light of God in Creation

They do not see that while they observe before them the outrunners of the happenings and also experience them upon themselves in the present, at that same moment a new happening is already being woven, which contains a new advance towards a solution springing from the Wisdom of God, which holds helping paths for every possibility of development

This points to the half-heartedness of the vision of these men, who of themselves do not know what to do with the state of their suddenly awakened receptivity

In their state of sensitising they also see in the doings of mankind chiefly only the evil, and at the same time they are not able to recognise the loving activity of the Light, which is still here and works upon the basis of the Law of Homogeneity, yet is only seldom to be grasped by men

Such men thereby lack that which is most essential for the right understanding of the state upon Earth and of what must inevitably come

The Light creates and presses forward, in order to prepare what will come along paths which lie beyond the borders of the world here

These men, however, see only the present straying of human society, which results from the false direction

Therefore many sensitised seeing ones still hold to the despairing supposition that the world no longer has any sense, merely because they themselves are denied the sight of a way out

This approach must then yield only great distortions and for the most part wholly twisted conjectures, because in all these endeavours the reckoning with the fundamental Power is lacking

It is the Power of the Light, which works upon the development and will yet work in heightened effect

There is lacking the actual knowledge for a truthful discernment of the state of the present, and also the ability to follow rightly the threads of the animistic weavers, the Alphar, in which everything that is coming is woven under the heightened pressure of the Light

Men today, unlike in ancient times, know nothing of the threads of the weavers, and they know nothing at all of the Wisdom of God, which alone is determinative for the course of the work of Creation contained in these threads

Therefore in many awakening men there is unrest and also despair over this world

At the same time in some individuals there grows a feverish endeavour to intervene while there is yet time and by any means to avert the approaching menaces which in their view hover over the destructive fate of the planet

They think that the state which shows itself around them can be fundamentally changed by their direct effort, without at the same time asking in humility along which paths the Will of God proceeds in this happening upon Earth

Their despairing struggle for the world here proceeds from the supposition that the consequences of men's former errors can be halted with earthly hands

They overlook that the most important part of the change towards a better prospect rests in the first place in the awakening of a sufficient number of men to an inwardly pure spiritual consciousness

These well-meaning sensitive men wish to change the world only from outside

Thereby, however, they only confirm their ignorance of the effects of God's activity in Creation

Once again they set up their preference for the gross material earthly world alone above everything else

But let it be stressed again that these men are not at all evil, they only wilfully seek wrong paths for the changing of the world

Sadly they thereby only turn everything inside out, and instead of spiritual bread they offer with their prospects empty fruits to all those men who expect from them the showing of a way out

Besides these there are also many men who, although they have the same inner sensitised perception of the approaching changes, do not yet wish to occupy themselves with anything of the sort today, because their small world suffices them, the world in which they move within the attunement of their endeavour, and their answer to all the echoes of inner unrest runs: “Somehow it was, somehow it will be, in any case we can do nothing about it”

They are the foolish virgins of the parable of Jesus

Thus in the ferment of the happening there stand side by side many wrong things, going in different and often wholly opposite directions

In all that has been mentioned above we therefore find either blindness, incompleteness or extravagance in the striving to remedy the outward manifestations of the times

In this important time upon Earth there is lacking a sufficient host of inwardly luminous and healthily perceiving knowing men

Therefore the call is to go out to those who from the Light bear the designation of ideal men

Or to those who can at least be designated as men striving purely for ideals

To them the Truth is to be given, that they may unite themselves with it and bring it to life within themselves and around themselves

It is an urgent call flying over all those who are incarnated in earthly bodies as truly mature spirits

They are to rouse themselves to a clear work consisting in the attuning of themselves to the luminous help, that they may then be permitted, as radiant bridges, to bring upon this Earth help to the many straying men who urgently ask whither this world is heading

And there is yet one more group, which lays its conceptions before its fellow men in the endeavour to create in others the impression that they are purely receiving clairvoyants

At first glance they appear as servants faithfully devoted to the Light

Often, however, they are only immature dreamers and fantasts who long to be heard by others and wish to be received as the mediators of an almighty voice from the heights which proclaims the destruction of the whole world in the coming of the Apocalypse

Of such fiery heralds there has always been an abundance upon Earth at all times

Nor is the present time of grave transformations therefore an exception

In these men, together with their capacity for a partial clairvoyant view which is only of the ethereal kind, there not seldom burns an incomprehensible discontent with earthly life, and therefore they bear within themselves a peculiar reason for bringing only prospects of the destruction and the extinction of everything and everyone, with the claim that it is thus willed by the Will of God

Happily we can say that everything mentioned above is only a work proceeding from the circle of human reasoning, which is wholly remote from the actual happening in Creation and thus also in the part of the universe here

The prospects mentioned are built upon wrong foundations, which must be shaken the moment the men concerned are sternly asked whether they truly know what intention the Will of God has with this Earth

Then everything would swiftly fall silent, for who among men can know that Will of the Creator faultlessly and rightly and pass it off as the pictures of his own thoughts

Yet it is precisely the Will of God which is the sole determiner of the further development

Everything else, in its splitting off and its deviation from the Will of God, is wrong

The Will of God, however, does not work as the arbitrary caprice which men so often take it to be, but the very greatness of the Just and loving upholding of the worlds rests in this, that it always fulfils itself along paths which unconditionally follow the primordially eternal Laws working in Creation from the very beginning of its arising

These Laws always bring into the working of all happening only the enforcement of that which was laid into their course

Why then do clairvoyant men not for once take fully in earnest that the warnings which they often behold in pictures concern in the first place themselves

They therefore do not concern other men in their diversity, and in no case whatever the world of nature and all the beings working within it

It is therefore to be a warning above all for these men themselves, if they perceive anything of the kind

If they were to take it by the right end, then it would swiftly be shown that the pictures sent to them concern above all their own personal path, upon which a change towards pure and simple acting needs to come about

In the striving for such acting there would then also appear a new degree of inner maturity and fervour, which would bring them a still closer knowledge of God's principle in Creation, in which Justice and Love always vibrate in balance

In reality everything is utterly simple

In the wise administration of this Earth the returning threads, which come back to the Earth in their all-overpowering and crushing force, concern only those men who brought them to life through their wrong thinking and acting, and not nature in its animistic foundation

Therefore men should always in earnest refer these warning perceptions first to their own paths and strive for the becoming luminous of their own longings and volition

This brings a multitude of impulses for spiritual work throughout the whole of the day

In this necessary work man as a human spirit also stands for himself alone, and in his hands lies the ascent or also the extinction of himself alone

Everything else remains free from the impact of his threads, which are woven for him in the highest delicacy by the hands of the Vaenen

If therefore extinction or destruction is beheld today, then this is bound to the threads of the human-spiritual

The ethereal pictures of seeing men are to warn them of the return of the threads of their own kind, but the Earth and the animistic beings working upon it stand in another stream of threads

Through the Laws of Creation the world of nature cannot be touched by something with which it itself has nothing in common, and under whose rough human hands it has on the contrary long suffered

The loving Wisdom of God has no intention of letting any creature suffer which has not itself, within the Laws of Creation, given cause for it

And even in the moment of suffering every creature is then surrounded by help, which in the openness of its experiencing it can seize and thus begin its ascent towards a better existence

Unlike men, the animistic remains in the pure streaming of threads which bring it enduring strengthening and support

The reasoning of men that together with the human distortions the world of the animistic will now be unwittingly drawn into destruction as well proceeds only from human self-overestimation, and above all it shows only what incapacity dwells in men who reason thus

Why should the animistic world suffer within the Laws of Creation through the guilt of mankind, when it has patiently and throughout all time provided the human spirit again and again with harvest and thereby with all that is needed for nourishment and for a life of abundance

Only the darkness reasons in prospects of that kind

Always, when it plunges downwards, it wishes to drag all other life down with it

The Light, however, distinguishes sharply between guilt and innocence, for it stands in the Justice of God

The animistic in the part of the universe here and in all the parts of the community of Ephesus has from the beginning been fully serving and is thereby pure, so that it has no share in the desecration of God's gift, which consists in the quickening of these materialities

It stands wholly apart from the defilement which arose only through the activity of human spirits turned away from the Light

We may say that on the contrary the animistic world now stands in expectation of a great liberation from the slavery which was forced upon it by man in place of the joyful co-operation originally willed

This liberation has reached the border of the first degrees of the fine gross materiality and advances ever closer to the visible planes of the earthly world

The animistic servants greet this radiation, which for them is the coming of a new strengthening of their faithfulness

Joyfully it booms and roars in the elements in greeting to the approaching Ray of Parzival

That which draws near to the Earth will therefore strike mankind alone

And here too we must see the effects rightly, for the Power of the Light will strike in blows only those men who of their own volition remain in their former severance from the whole work of Creation and who are not able to change within themselves towards a better and purer manner of life

The coming of the Light brings an end to all the injustice which has spread here under the rule of immature human doings, very often driven directly by evil volition

And this distinguishing of good and evil draws near to all life with its simple designation

Guided through the threads of the Alphar, there now rush towards the Earth happenings which are already partly visible and which will yet intensify at a speed which none of earthly men can today rightly imagine

It is the beginning of the condensed return of everything past, which comes back to the Earth in order to overtake everyone who has to do with it as the consequence of this life and of all his past lives

If under this rushing stream of the judging threads of the Light there come natural events of unprecedented dimensions, then these too belong only as a part to the compensation of the past, and despite all the manifestations bound up with it one can always at the same time find therein the liberation of everything animistic, which receives strengthening for a new breath

Thus the blind path mentioned, which is often rightly intuitively sensed by many men, applies solely to the present intellectual direction of a great part of mankind today, a direction remote from pure intuitive perceiving

For everything else, which belongs precisely to the animistic activity in nature, it brings on the contrary release and a return to the ancient times of joyful weaving according to the forces and the lawfulness of the universe

The great warning which now hovers over this Earth therefore applies to the human spirit, not to the animistic, which only serves rightly

It is precisely the human-spiritual kind which is to be utterly on its guard and which is also to unfold from itself every striving for a change towards a humbler and purer existence

It is therefore wrong when, through the thoughts of men who look upon future prospects, all other life is drawn onto their own blind path as well, life which in reality is untouched by the returning threads of fate, as is the case also with many human spirits

This can only be called a further manifestation of ignorance of the Just Laws of God, when man wishes to draw the animistic along with himself into the same necessity of expiating the past as belongs to him

In this the animistic stands liberated and has nothing in common with human guilt upon this Earth

Supported by Valhalla, from the greatest giants down to the smallest elves and root sprites, there has long been within it a lamenting cry for the compensation of all the suffering which man has caused it upon Earth

The animistic vibrates with certainty within the Laws of Creation, and although a turning of the worlds has come in the duration of the present stage of development of the part of the Subsequent Creation here, there is yet measured out for this Earth a time of long hundreds of thousands of years

The power of the Ray of Parzival streaming towards the Earth brings to everything animistic help towards a renewal and a blossoming such as has long not been here

Why then should the stroke of the reciprocal effects be the same as it is in the case of man, when to the animistic, from the moment of the promise of Parzival from the Grail, help and liberation from the clutches of the darkness were proclaimed

Therein would surely lie a plain contradiction of all Justice, which streams enduringly through the universe from the heights of the work of Creation, from the Grail

Phermos brings to the Earth tidings of the approaching hosts of luminous heroes who are already entering the first nebulae of the gloomy plane of the finest gross materiality surrounding the Earth

This victorious march brings a pressure to which men will be exposed exactly according to their thought-attunement

Each individual man now stands alone for himself in that which returns to him

For that which returns to man none of the other men is guilty, and least of all nature, which never stepped out of its faithful vibrating-with in the great harmony of the work of Creation

Each single human spirit bears his own resultant of threads, which returns for fulfilment in an accelerated experiencing

The conceptions of many fantasts and cowards about the destruction of the Earth and of this whole part of the universe contradict the wise naturalness of the development according to the great promise of God to all life

To only one creature here upon Earth does the return of the threads, intensified under the pressure of the approaching Ray of Parzival, threaten the coming of discomfort and the danger of a fall into destruction

That creature is man, who set himself outside the Laws of Creation and through his acting brought about many transgressions which for a long time he supposed could never return to him to call him to account

He supposed this so strongly and so self-assuredly only because nothing of the sort had as yet happened to him upon this Earth in direct connection

But this has changed, and it will change yet further in its accentuation

For already now it suffices only to look about rightly, because everywhere around it is already easy to recognise

That which fulfils itself in these months is the beginning of the visible release of all the motives and volition which stand around every man

Each further day in the world of men shows the deviation from healthy humanity, and in a convulsive struggle the intellect exhausts itself with the most senseless tricks

Gone is its composure and the knowing of that overview which but a short time ago gave earthly man dominion over nature

Only a short time will yet pass before the happenings of nature, under the renewed strength of the animistic servants, visibly refuse man all further serving of his volition

And strangely enough it is precisely this refusal of the animistic beings that will be taken as a sign of the approaching end, for in it men will wish to confirm for themselves that the heightened activity of all the elements is the beginning of the end of this planet

What an error is contained in this will be confirmed only to those men to whom it is given, through the grace of the Light, to outlast the unexpected events through their whole duration

A small number will in the end be filled with a gratitude which will truly well up from a spiritual and already fully awakened inner being

Upon Earth there will be such purity as has never been here in any time within man's backward view

Purity not only in the sense of a beautifying of all the colours and scents of nature, but above all purity in the world of intuitive perception and of thought

And the animistic world will sparkle therein with joyful work, in which the men who remain preserved will find in all places a hand again extended for co-operation

The fabled pictures of a place upon Earth blessed with gifts will become reality, so that those who will be able to found here the new age of a purified and inwardly luminous mankind may have for their building such help as cannot yet today come from the animistic to man

The joyful exclamation of the whole Earth will carry itself through the universe as a prayer of thanks to the Creator

In the newly acquired manner of acting men will find all the blessing that is still remote today, blessing which will descend upon them as soon as they prepare their inner being for co-operation with all the others around them

Whether these others be men, animistic servants or spiritual helpers working from the heights, or merely living inspiring thought-forms, all this is to be, in the new striving of men upon Earth, a summons to joyful co-creating in the enduring glorification of the Giver of Life, the Creator, the Holy God

Whoever already today holds to this approach to life bears within himself the connection with the promise of a glorious prospect, without needing to know more

His trust will lead him through all the stretches of the happening still necessary for the closing of the ending chapter of mankind, without his having to waver in it and to dread all that will come

The determiner of all paths for every creature is pure fervent acting in every moment which the new day brings

The Earth and the life upon it will be preserved

It lies solely in the hands of each individual man whether he too, in his earthly existence, will be permitted to be present at the moment when about the common striving of mankind towards the Light there will no longer be any doubt

All around, there carries itself through space towards the Earth the joyful call of the radiant servants, “More Light”
