A frequently repeated question stirs the inner being of many a man

Nor is this question asked without right, for it is the natural outcome of the ever more perceptible movement in many events

Everything seems to tremble in an unprecedented kind of restlessness

The happening which bears witness to the approaching rebirth of the epochs grows more visible to an ever greater host of seekers

It can no longer be concealed, as was perhaps still possible only a few years ago

The answer to the question, whose urgency grows with every day, is nevertheless very simple

Everything is the outcome of that kind of happening whereby, in the fine weaving of the threads formed under the immediate radiation of the Ray of Parzival, such a needful degree of ripeness was reached that this ripeness could begin to pour over into the visible and tangible plane of the gross material world

There is thus that nearness of the fulfilment of the promise of fundamental changes, of whose true coming into the world of men on earth no one has known until now, save only God the Father in His all-wisdom

The ripeness of many threads, which were prepared in patient weaving by the hands of the animistic servants, the Alphar, has attained so strong a penetration that it is now possible to speak of the beginning fulfilment of all the promises which were passed on to men by prophets and heralds, often whole millennia in advance

The ripeness of the time is here and brings the release of forces which until now were patiently held in the animistic weaving, so that their mutual joining could begin at exactly the appointed moment in unified accord, from which they can then work onwards into the very density of gross matter

What forces are now released and what their gradual assertion in the materialities will bring is again hidden from the eyes of men, for nothing is to be uncovered beforehand of that which bears within it the wise settling of all the threads of fate, for the whole as well as for the individual man

All happenings go along paths determined beforehand, in which to the last particle the all-wisdom of the Justice of God is mirrored

And even today men would not believe this very picture, they would reject it, for they still suppose that such a thing as the Justice of God was never fulfilled on earth

Yet it fulfils itself unceasingly, though in ways other than men picture to themselves

The course of the threads is subject to an entirely different cycle of a circling kind than the human conception, and this above all in those moments when men suppose that something of the justice as they conceive it must at once be reflected in the present density of this world as a confirmation that God administers this world closely, that He guides it by seeing to the fulfilment of human expectations

The single happenings out of the past, however, return to this earth by the ways of formed happenings, in which the Alphar comprise everything in its entirety, thus also the smallest vibrations of the long-past volitions of men

For that reason there often arises in the outer world something quite other than what many a man would expect in his narrow concentration upon the present

Now there returns in ever swifter movement all that is joined together into the great carpet of mankind, and the life of every single man plays therein an immensely important part, for thereby all take an immediate share in the development of the happening, yet in a different way from what has hitherto been thought

What men draw with them at their birth on earth is a part of the weaving which determines the starting condition for further events

At the same time it is the inner attunement of the individual man in the time of the present that influences many returning happenings contained in the woven forms, which can then be lived out in their particulars symbolically

But all this is hidden from most men by the way in which human life on earth is today generally understood, for the most part in material superficiality

It is the consequence of the insufficient receptivity of the spirit on the one hand, and at the same time there shows itself in it also that long-standing and merely harmful intellectual affliction of most people, who suppose that they know everything better

Thereby there arises an obstacle which does not allow the man of today to come near to the understanding of the things taking place around him in such a way that, through the connecting fine threads, he would in the end of necessity have to acknowledge what perfection of Justice works in them, could he but for a moment survey them in their whence and whither

Since men do not see these threads in their livingness and mobility, most of them quickly suppose that no Justice of God is to be found here on earth and that everything is only the work of chance or the expression of the wilfulness of other people

But now this will gradually change, as the light of recognition spreads in an ever greater number of people on earth

In this too there is now need, on the part of all inwardly open people, to make a great step forward

The enlightenment will come precisely through the understanding of the growing host of those who become more receptive in this

That is the condition which needs to be fulfilled on the part of men before there can be any speaking of a shift of human consciousness as a whole

From the Light everything for this is made ready, and it is thus solely and only the ripeness on the part of men which now needs to be supplied to it, as an ideally attuned anchorage for the human recognition which is to become the foundation of everything new

The ripeness contained in the present time makes it possible for everything to hasten forward with unprecedented swiftness

The attaining of this ripeness could come about solely and only through the drawing near of the Ray of Parzival, which in this works after its kind as a mighty guiding pillar of the Divine radiation appointed for the release of all the promises in the Subsequent Creation

Today this happening is still in no way known to mankind, and therefore many events, seen from without, appear only as a feverishly unrolling course of occurrences which work in unbounded and elemental fashion

Men thus suppose that absolutely anything can come to pass, if only there is will enough for it in people, be it the will to good or to evil

It drives millions of people to movement

That too is in order, for in it a conscious responsibility for the state of society can still be experienced by men, which for many people is in a certain sense a help in their striving for a better life

In this too there can in a certain sense be contained the spiritual progress of the individual, if such endeavours are lived genuinely and if after a time there does not creep into them in man merely a base political scheming

Such a thing as the concern with social life on earth is part of the human ripening here in the materialities

It leads many a one to the needful joining in the search for answers as to how the world could and should look, so as to fulfil ideal conditions for the life of all

In this, however, men are to raise themselves ever higher and higher, until at last they come to the stage where to the questions bound up with it they will be able to find no other answers than those which come from the supraearthly, that is, answers flowing from the wisdom of the Laws of God woven by the Will of the Creator into the work of Creation

This will lead them so far that all their endeavours to guide the world towards a better and more ideal prospect will be ruled by the recognition that it is first and foremost their own all-embracing attunement to good which most strongly influences the direction of further development

But today this is still in a certain sense veiled from men, for the dulling of their receptivity does not allow them to see it all with a clear gaze

Only at a certain distance, in the time to come, will men be able to recognise how all the fine radiation around them determines all their experiencing, which could come to pass solely and only in this time thanks to the grace-filled working of the rescuing approach of the Ray of Parzival to this earth

Individual people and the whole world are surrounded by a radiation which with every day ever more visibly binds the human will in its deciding, in that first of all there are the threads coming out of the past which, in spite of man's present volition, compel him to go the way of personal living-out

And even were a man to say to himself that if he wills it he will turn aside from this way, and were he then even to take some outward steps to that end, it would nevertheless in the end bring him exactly the same experiencing, accompanied only by somewhat different forms

Were such a man then wise enough, he would recognise again, even in those seemingly new forms, the radiation of the original way, which from the spiritual standpoint has not changed for him at all

Alas, many people, on account of the otherness of the outward forms, do not see the essence of the threads, and so they suppose that by turning aside from the way they have perhaps escaped the original influence of the threads of fate, although for the man who knows not the least thing in these threads has changed, save perhaps that such a man, experiencing other forms, only stumbles through life in continued zigzagging, fleeing thus from his own self

Thereby, however, he only lengthens his own way, and he is in danger of entangling himself still more in newly woven threads

The laying aside of the threads can come only through inward living-out in the acceptance and the understanding that nothing happens to man by chance

Only in the change for the better lies the possibility of the right living-out of the threads, such as the Wisdom of God expects of the human spirit

A living-out which receives blessing from the Light can come only in the accepting of all that comes in a pure and harmonious attunement

The ability to hold this harmonious attunement within oneself in all the moments of life unfolds out of an ardently experienced trust in God's governance of all happenings in Creation through the living manifestations of the Laws

The living manifestations of the Laws of Creation can fulfil themselves only through the faithfully weaving hands of the Vaenen and the Alphar

Therefore men need to know them, and still more they need to sense that they really do weave everything around them

And precisely in this lies that victorious way which can and shall now stand as the chief deliverance out of all distress

Through the attunement in the inner being, and thus through the strength of the inner conviction that only the all-embracing volition of good can be a victory for everything that now finds itself on earth in the most manifold degrees leading from misery, sickness, wars and the fear of death up to the inward liberation from all thoughts of evil, whereupon only then can everything begin to change for the better also on the level of the dense earthly world

Of the individual man there is expected in this, together with an ever wider comprehension of the happenings therein contained, that he make his own the aforesaid enduring attunement of good volition, and patience too, with the understanding that all finer happening penetrates only gradually into the visible material world

The recognition and the understanding of the interpenetration of the threads from the finer into the coarser is in itself a knowledge of a high kind, and whoever rightly makes it his own will in the coming times on earth be held as a spiritual master and one versed in it, faithfully helping men towards the Light

The knowledge that much cannot be hastened more than the threads of fate allow, and that a change therefore comes only at a certain distance from the moment of the wish in man, and this still under the condition that everything vibrates in accord with the streams in Creation, so that out of it the all-encompassing Harmony may be woven for all creatures and spheres

Knowledge in these matters will also become an independent human field

It will, however, be something entirely different from what is today associated with clairvoyance, for clairvoyance, which in its beholding enters into events and destinies, whether into the past or the future of individual people or of the whole of mankind, needs first to have the new soil of enlightened recognition, out of which it will gradually develop into a beneficent kind of knowledge of how and along what course the threads of the weavers exactly run

According to these threads it will then be possible to seek new ways along which men will be able to go through their life far more purposefully, for there will be given them a complete picture of how they themselves, by their volition, either vibrate in accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation or by something exclude themselves from this accord

Thus it will be possible to seek hastening ways for things which today, outwardly, can seemingly hardly be moved at all so that something in a man's life might change for the better

The gradual hastening in this will always work in the measure in which there burns in the human spirit the trustful conviction of the effects of the lawful working of the Justice of God in all that comes to pass

That is in reality the aforesaid enlightenment which is coming to this earth

In the thought world the soil for it is made ready

Now it has only to break forth, as when out of the spring earth, after the winter, a carpet of new green shoots up in the rays of the sun

In this work everyone is to have his share who has drawn the Word of Truth into himself

He is to reshape it in living activity into a jubilant and enthusiastic victory

The power of the Grail Message gives him in this all the needful equipment

It needs, however, to be livingly grasped and also applied in life with the purest striving

Knowledge alone is not sufficient without the strength of the human spirit which ardently longs to live rightly in the work of Creation

Alas, men today know nothing of that principle of the interpenetration of the threads of fate running from the finer into the denser, and therefore, despite their knowledge of the work of the Grail Message, they do not succeed in changing things fundamentally for the better

As a rule they expend much strength in places and for things which cannot bring a change nearly so swiftly as would easily be possible with a different striving

In general there is lacking here on earth today the most basic knowledge of the happenings which work in the lives of men

That very answer, too, to the question why enlightenment comes to earth precisely now, is a part of the said field of the knowledge of the threads of the weavers

The interpenetration of all promises into the density of the earth always has a necessary course which the weavers of the threads need to observe exactly

They themselves can do no otherwise, not even if they themselves might wish to hasten or, on the contrary, to delay something of it

The Will of God, to which they are subject, does not permit them such a thing

Thus that enlightenment too, which is approaching, had and still has its course of interpenetration into the density of gross matter

If therefore something was set in motion by a promise of the Light decades or even centuries ago, then it always needs to have ways formed for it, so that such a promise may at last be fulfilled at the right time

Part of the enlightenment was, and still is, the birth of human spirits who for this need to be in bodies on earth, for their kind of radiation needs to have its share in the enlightenment

Their ripeness too, of a certain recognition which they need to receive on earth, has its course of development with all the lesser matters bound up with it

But despite many intricate weavings of threads, after a certain time everything is at last prepared

All who are to be on earth at the given time are at such a time incarnated and also bear within them exactly that ripeness which allows the radiation to stream through them which, in the total connection, forms the conditions for a great shift in events

And today there is on earth precisely such a composition of human spirits as makes it possible for the enlightenment gradually to begin to fulfil itself

However much this may appear to the superficial observer as incomprehensible to him, or perhaps even as impossible for his earthly eyes, it changes nothing in the fact that the composition of the radiation is decisive for the further weaving of the threads, which will gradually bring new and ever new impulses for the whole of mankind until the enlightenment is attained

The interpenetration of the threads is that phenomenon in which it is needful to find the answers for much, indeed for all the knowledge of men

He who does not advance further in his understanding of the great Laws of Creation so as to join to his knowledge also the necessary lawful happening which lies hidden in the interpenetration of the threads, such a one will then find his bearings no longer in all the important things that are still to come to pass

It is a very important recognition, in which there is contained the very wisdom out of which true help to one's fellow-men is then born

The help lies in the passing on of trust and also of the inner peacefulness which rests upon the knowledge of the power of the ardent volition of good by the human spirit, who thereby gives proof of his inner work which Creation expects of him

Whoever therefore now longs to help other people should make his own the knowledge of the happening of the interpenetration of the threads, whereby in the end there will come to earth all that was promised by the Light and that is therefore to be here

The ways for the fulfilment of the promises are mobile, for they need first to have the setting of a certain radiation which was given for it beforehand by the Wisdom of God as a condition that nothing can shift

It is therefore always needful to occupy oneself with the recognition of the said radiation, which is the condition for the fulfilment

And this condition on the part of earthmen is connected also with one of the important kinds of the radiation of enlightenment which needs to be brought to earth

It is in this altogether a secondary matter who brings this enlightenment, for again it is always solely and only a question of the radiation which needs to be contained in the recognition

It is to be a radiation of a quickening and refreshing kind, in which at the same time the true Wisdom of a higher view of the happenings is contained

This radiation is now the content of the texts brought by the Way of the Grail

The radiation works with a self-acting magnetism and draws all those who are on earth in earthly bodies and whose spirit is addressed by that very radiation of recognition to a joyful vibrating in accord

First the accord is in the intuitive perception, then it pours over into the level of thought, so that afterwards the accord may find ever more visible forms in gross matter

Thereby the said enlightenment, in its need of anchorage in the threads, is again strengthened first on the fine level of the threads, but in time these threads will penetrate into the gross materiality of the earth, so as to bring more courage and enthusiasm to yet further human spirits

This happening is given from the Light and is also a part of the enlightenment now not far off, which will thus come

The outward happening which men see seems to go against this radiation, but in reality it is an inseparable part of it, for the nearness of the Ray of Parzival must of necessity call forth movement in the whole of human social life just as in the working of all the animistic servants

This is just now beginning to unroll with heightened swiftness, which will yet gain in strength, for we stand only at the beginning of the time of enlightenment

All should be inwardly filled with a calm gentleness, for everything goes along the paths appointed by the Light

Impatience and eagerness will not bring in this a hastening by so much as a single day

The spiritual work is now to be directed upon inward becoming luminous, upon the liberation from the old way of thinking and of understanding life, so that in the purest striving there may be manifested that most natural humanity which vibrates only in the unfolded virtues of every single man

Therefore there is this reminder of the great opportunity of the hundred days of transformation, for this transformation offers all that is needful for a fundamental advance towards the attaining of the enlightenment

Here thanks belong to all those who have enrolled for this transformation and have written asking for the sending of the texts appointed as a support in the time of these days

Those enrolled to receive them are now a great multitude, and this from the whole world

Ardent thanks belong to all who added words besides, in which it was possible to read the genuineness of their volition and thereby the greatness of their spiritual inner being

The texts are being prepared for continuous sending throughout the whole period of the three months that follow

We believe that the recognition contained in the texts will find prepared soil, and that thus the radiation needed for the visible interpenetration of the enlightenment to this earth may again be strengthened
