Herfeline – the Servant of Valhalla Who Brings Helps For the Health of Man

And again Herfeline bends down to the Earth in a helping ray of love and of help, there where man calls anxiously for help in healing

Herfeline is here, she is in the nearness of the Earth in this grave time, yet men do not see her and perceive neither her herself nor her helping currents, which descend in the form of a healing power to everyone who asks for help

Everywhere that there is a fervent longing for healing, Herfeline offers her counsel and her strengthening

Her kindness of itself already brings comfort and a gleam of hope to those who unknowingly open themselves to her nearness, without so much as divining anything of the fact that she is with them

She comes as a gentle power which in its content always mediates a way out of the sickness, however incurable this may already appear

The procedures which she counsels always proceed from the foundation which lies in the radiation of man's blood

The connection with her procedures demands a new perceiving on the part of those who heal

If healing is ever carried out according to her counsel, then the healer and the attending carer of the sick one will always look to the composition of his blood and will strive by natural means to bring about its improvement in the brightness and the sparkle which it ought to have

What this means and what effective power lies in it, of that medical science today knows almost nothing

The composition of the blood is formed in the body for the greatest part in the organ of the liver

If, then, the force is directed this way in the right working, the activity of the liver will improve very swiftly and will rise to a higher activity of cleansing and of ordering the blood of the sick one

Today's medical science supposes that the strongest help comes about through working directly upon that place which its examination has marked as diseased

With every means scientific medicine then strives to work upon this single place, in the conviction that an intervention led into the focus is the best

That holds good only in the case where it is a matter of the swift saving of a life, when it is needful to act in the space of minutes or even of seconds

Such a procedure, however, cannot bring a more lasting result towards a better development of the sickness

In the best case the sickness is suppressed, but it meanwhile remains in the body awaiting a further opportunity, whether in the same place or in another

It is only the driving of a beast of prey into a cave, from which it can always break forth again at the next opportunity and fall anew upon the body of the sick one, wherever this shows itself easiest for it

It will also without doubt do so at once when the force expended for its temporary driving off runs out

Therefore we find so much repetition in recurring sicknesses which in reality could never be cured, because no fundamental transformation was made in the radiation of the whole bodily organism and above all because no foundation was formed for new blood

A cure comes about only when the body's own force rouses itself to self-healing through an inner renewal

And it is precisely self-healing through renewal that is always closely bound up with a real change in the radiation of the blood

This happening is inseparable from real healing, and if this kind of treatment then takes its course with the sick one, the result may be relied upon with safe certainty

It can also be described the other way round, that is, if a healing takes place in full measure, then it is certain that an improvement in the radiation of the blood must also have taken place

At the same time it also holds good that for this self-healing the inner radiation of a pure spiritual volition is needed in the person concerned

This comes about through a temporary or a lasting transformation in the attunement, when humility and the becoming small enter into man and at the same time a sufficient longing for life awakens

In that moment the inner radiation of man's spiritual core can unite itself more closely with the body

The spirit presses forward in its will more into the foreground, before all the thinking and intellectual volition held hitherto

The spirit has the strongest influence upon the healthy and helping radiation which penetrates the animistic and the ethereal covering in the direction of the earthly body

This radiation goes forth from the solar plexus, which is to be a strong anchorage of the spirit for its pure fulfilling of the basic enlivening path of the earthly body

Where this is not so, there the radiation of the blood is weakened from within on the part of the spirit, which either indeed radiates in purity but works towards matter only with a weak radiation, or perhaps radiates strongly, while at the same time there is in its vibrations much impure volition

Thereby a weakening of the radiation of the blood always arises, and it is for the clairvoyance of those who wish to judge it to be able rightly to distinguish the direction of the weakening working and also the measure of such an influence

A healthy radiation in the direction from the spirit to the body is for many men a great stumbling block which has its share in the whole state of bodily health, which is always closely connected with the radiation of the blood, when one of the mentioned components is weakened, or when one of these parts is exposed to impurity and baseness

If it is so, then after a certain time, meaning years or even decades, such a condition will begin to assert itself in the composition of the radiation of the blood, which thereafter begins to grow ever more clouded, until it reaches the degree at which, as a consequence of the disturbance of the pure picture of the radiation, damage to one of the organs of the body appears

At the same time it may be said that the basic weakening lies in the organ of the liver, which for the greatest part has its share in the resulting picture of the blood radiation

Thus we shall find one or often several causes lying in the spirit which lead to the resulting state of sickness of the earthly body

There may be a wrong composition of the radiation of the blood caused by a bad manner of life, and beside this we shall then find unlovely ways in habitual reactions, whether in deeds, in thoughts or merely in urging volition

Besides this we often find an uncertain will to live in the hesitation and the wavering volition as to whether to be or not to be here on Earth

Many men experience within themselves a fear of further life in this world and would most gladly flee from this earthly being of theirs

At the same time, however, most men have anchored within themselves, through the touch of Herfeline's ray, the instinct for duration and for survival in this world

All these influences interweave and form a pressure upon the resulting picture of the radiation of the blood, which is either weakened as a consequence of the contradictoriness of the volition, or is even clouded by impure volition, and is of course also thrown into unsteadiness by the food and the manner of life of the present time

With many men, however, we shall find ever more a weakness of the volition of the spirit and thereby a weakened radiation of the blood, which shows itself in an uncertain power of the body to defend itself against weakening influences

Herfeline therefore calls to men in helping loving-kindness, in order to awaken them and thus to strengthen the transformation of some of their weaknesses, which in a fundamental way influence the radiation of their blood

Often only little needs to be changed here for an improvement to come about almost at once

But men will not heed this call, and therefore their blood picture sinks into an ever more unsteady composition of radiation

If men only divined how, for instance, the volition for something evil and inharmonious sets its mark upon the resulting clouding of their blood, which at once loses its freshness and gives room for the forming of particles leading to the congestion and the blocking of all the weak places in the circulation, which in the end brings many manifestations of sicknesses that men loftily call diseases of civilisation, then many a one would at once take fright at how greatly he harms his body through his impure attunement and shortens its span of life by whole years, and this even though otherwise he strives to live very healthily precisely out of his anxious dread of sickness and of death

Evil and disharmony in the radiation of the spirit bring through the solar plexus to the liver currents which work upon it as corrosion attacks metal

As a consequence of this there comes a weakening of the cells of the liver, which otherwise, in a better attunement, would work according to their determination, that is, would cleanse and order the blood for its gleaming brightness, which is in the highest degree needful for the healthy working of the other organs and of the whole body

Evil and clouding, and also a lack of joy in life and a generally brooding manner of thinking, work in certain important parts of the brain which are influenced by the intellectual fore-brain

Though at first glance it may look like a side effect taking place in a certain part of the brain, it is nevertheless a fundamental influencing of parts of the brain

In particular the glands of the pituitary and of the pineal, which are joined through the hypothalamus, the hippocampus and the thalamus, are very important instruments of the brain, out of which, under the influence of an evil radiation in the thought-attitude of the intellect, fine kinds of substances are at once mingled into the blood, which hasten with the message thus formed to the liver

Into the liver there pour from the mentioned glands in the brain admixtures of substances of a fine, chemically almost imperceptible kind, and it may be said that it is rather a matter of a radiation, which nevertheless brings to the liver important impulses for a change in its activity

These substances pass on the message, which the organ of the liver receives, and it begins at once to work according to this communication from the brain

In the distaste for life, in the hopeless self-reproach and self-torment which takes place in the thoughts of man, the liver gives up its cleansing activity and prepares the body for its earthly end

As a consequence of this message there begin to be released into the blood, through the weakened activity or even the almost complete inactivity of the liver, many times more of those substances which the liver no longer caught, and these impurities may thereafter flow freely to other bodily organs

The blood then literally carries to the other places in the body an unhealthiness which settles there and, like the sludge of mud in the sluggish course of a river, silts up even the distant parts of the body, until a complete collapse comes about

The weakening of the activity of the liver leads to the slow self-destruction of the earthly body of man

Conversely, a volition of man overfilled with evil, with hatred and with wrath leads to a feverish increase of energy in the liver, which thereafter passes this feverishness on to the other organs, whereby under this strong influx of radiation the collapse of some function may come about

The pressure issuing from the liver shows itself in the feverishness and the clouding of the blood, and can bring many times more swiftly the collapse of, for instance, the heart, or in turn of certain sections in the brain

Therefore the sublime Herfeline now exhorts all men to strive to keep themselves as far as possible in a pure, cordial and courageous attunement towards everything that comes to them

The bodily organism is a finely tuned instrument which here in gross materiality forms for the spirit and the soul of man a support for their working

Herfeline beholds with ease all the places in man which have been thrown into unsteadiness by his wrong volition, by his wrong conduct or also by a wrong regimen of the body, and thereby she also at once recognises where the way to redress and to healing leads

She is permitted to see it, for to her sight man is exposed not in his material form, but in the radiation which issues from him on the finer plane of the astral body

Thus she beholds all the deviations arising through the differing radiation of this or that place in the body, which then shows itself as the most afflicted

The foundation for all healing and for the closing of the damaged places in the body is, however, almost always the liver in its healthy work, which is closely interwoven with the swinging of the solar plexus and with the thought-attunement of man

Mankind of today now needs to receive the Light into its inner being as fully as possible

This Light can be received only in an attunement of pure harmony and goodness, which shows itself in cordiality, in joyful trust and in the hope flowing from faith in God's guidance of all things

Where man is able to keep the attunement of his inner being and of his thoughts in this kind of joyful enthusiasm for the victory of good on Earth, there the body can receive from the spiritual core, through the solar plexus and also through the cardiac plexus, a sufficiency of strengthening currents of radiation which of themselves call forth in the brain an attitude that brings the best support and refreshment for the organ of the liver

As a consequence there will then be formed by a liver working in such a positive attitude a blood bearing within itself sparkle and freshness, which will keep the whole body with all its organs in healthy co-operation, no matter what number of earthly years may be in question with the man

Freshness will penetrate all the parts of the body and will bring the strength and the ability to master everything that comes with ease, indeed literally with a song

It is of course self-evident that Herfeline beholds chiefly the condition of those men who for a long time have already been at fault in their volition and their thinking, or who are at fault also in the healthy governing of their earthly body

Their condition is not seldom grave, and for the regaining of freshness it needs the swiftest possible restoration of that sparkling radiation of the blood

The ways to it lead through a spiritual awakening to an all-embracing pure volition and also to trust in the All-Wisdom of God penetrating all the parts of the work of Creation

This step is for many the hardest, for for the most part men are filled within with mistrust and with scepticism towards other men, towards the world and even towards God Himself

Such is the condition of more than three quarters of today's human society on Earth

That it is, however, only a condition of thinking, this men need to recognise within themselves

The way out of this thought-trap of the intellect is possible only through a complete rebirth and a re-finding of trust in the Light and in the Creator

Only so can anything move, and only through movement is it possible for the helps, and even the Spirit of Christ Himself, to be permitted to draw near to such a man

This way is the hardest and at the same time also the most important for a great part of the men of today

That, however, does not mean that this way is not possible and that the inner being of the spiritual spark of every man does not always have within itself force enough to break through all the barriers and obstacles of thought

On the contrary, the awakening of the spirit is simple, it is easier than it may seem, for it lies in the awakening of the kindheartedness and the pure warmth of man

The liberation of the inner being can thus come about at any moment and in whatever place man finds himself

This turning point is reserved for the spiritual awakening of man, which needs only, in its openness and its fervour, to work more outwards

Together with this supremely important awakening, however, everyone may already seek beforehand the way to help his earthly body to its outward recovery

The way to every recovery leads through moderation and regularity in food

Beside this there is still the simplest strengthening of the earthly body in the time of today

However foolish it may perhaps sound at a first reading, the power of strengthening for the present recovery of the body lies in short walks in the radiance of the sun's rays

In the time of late spring and of summer the best moment for such a walk is the morning dawn or the peacefulness of the sunlight of early evening

For a great recovery even a quarter of an hour of such a fresh walk suffices, during which the thoughts are set upon joy and upon trust in God's Loving-Kind working for all purely striving men on this Earth

It is best of all to find a place in nature where the nearness of the working of the animistic helpers can be perceived

But not even that is unconditional

To strengthen the body towards recovery in this way is possible in any place on Earth, if there man can inwardly open himself to the streaming of the Light and outwardly expose himself to the solar radiation

So simple it is today, just as it has always been simple for man

The Light is attainable through the openness of man's inner being, which shows itself in a state of inner pure cordiality and joy

In the awareness that many men still need an inward help for their body as well, Herfeline now mediates one more great gift for the support of the body

This gift is the oil of Apollo

The kind of this oil is a gift from Herfeline, for it enables the body of man to receive in a certain sense the shining of the sun through the inner enlivening of the organ of the liver and of the radiation of the blood

Through the enlivening of the liver the oil of Apollo brings support to the sparkle of the blood and thereby also a gradual recovery in the connection of man's spiritual essence with the earthly body

The use of this oil is again very simple

Of its properties and its effects there will yet be speech in further texts bringing knowledge of the working of Herfeline, the glorious servant of Valhalla, who in the fulfilling of her mission is now bent down to earthly men, in order to help all who by the opening of their inner being allow her helps to draw near to them

Today we stand at the point of a great turn in the whole history of the world on this gross material plane

It is therefore evident that the Holy All-Wisdom of God sends out several helps for all honest human spirits who strive for the purity of their being, that they may be permitted to stand firm and to overcome all difficulties

A very great number of helps surrounds earthly man on his path through life

It is enough only to look about, to take hold of these helps and to receive the gifts which are contained in the mentioned helps for everyone

It is a picture bearing witness to the greatness of God's working in Creation, wherein Justice and Love always take effect side by side, hand in hand

Justice is here for all as the unyielding fulfilment of everything that was ever done by the individual man and that was brought to life in this work of Creation

Love, however, can be granted only to those who themselves give it to their fellow men consciously as a gift which brings blessing everywhere that it is offered

Only he who himself bears within his inner being loving-kindness and the pure volition to help others can now be endowed with the gifts which draw near to this place in Creation, that there may be help here in the time when the cleansing Judgment under the Ray of Parzival unfolds in full power over mankind

Everything that happens is to lead man to the awakening of his will to help others on their way to the spiritual home

This will to help needs to be awakened and borne forth upon the palms of man as a proving that he is truly a spirit filled with the Light

Only so can help be given to him also

And it is Herfeline who is here ready to bring helps to everyone who himself goes through life offering help to other men

Her gifts are of a wondrous kind and will thereafter bring a new foundation for the healing of all sicknesses in the coming age of a spiritually awakened mankind on Earth
