THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – June 28, 2021

Gwenevier, or also Guienevre, as the name of this personality of the spiritual gardens of Montsalvat is rather better known to men

In the Czech language her name sounds as Zenevie

Gwenevier is the highest handmaiden of the gardens of pure womanhood, in which there abound beds of snow-white lilies stretching beyond sight

Her place is in the very centre of these gardens, where there rises towards the sky a radiant, fabulously beautiful castle which is the abode of Gwenevier and at the same time serves as the place of activity of the purest service of Divine Worship for her and for her handmaidens

The gleaming towers of the castle, observed from afar, seem to rise directly out of the beds of lilies which everywhere surround the perfect and yet so lightly seeming edifice

Flooded with light, this white and golden edifice, together with its far-reaching gardens, gives the impression of hovering permanently in the surrounding space

Beds of great snow-white shining flowers which give forth a peculiar strengthening fragrance line the paths, and to the visitor looking into the distance they often appear as meadows covered with snow, which shine and at the same time also sound with delicate bell-like tones whose sound resembles crystals tuned to an unsuspectedly delicate kind of song

Among the beds which run out to the horizon there walk women in snow-white shining flowing garments, which seem like a living expression of the purest attunement of the inner being of each of the handmaidens

This raiment in an admirable manner portrays the brightness of the spiritual inner being of every handmaiden who may dwell here

And among all the handmaidens Gwenevier steps forth the most dazzlingly

Gwenevier is the first handmaiden of these places, and from time to time her spirit, veiled in a covering of humble shyness, ascends to the Island of Lilies in Primordial Creation, where she draws strengthening for the fulfilling of her service and of the service of her helpers in the gardens beneath Montsalvat

This glorious spiritual being has nothing in common with the stories which arose in the weavings of the writers of legends and of poems, which the poets of old, in a certain groping rapture, sought to capture in their vibrations of seeking exalted pictures for earthly men

Only partial fragments were caught by these partly gifted with grace, who however made the greater part of it earthly and added portions which were slipped to them with evil intent by the henchmen of Lucifer in the ethereal worlds

But of that there is no need to speak now, for it is far more refreshing to walk upward and to behold the pictures of the happenings as they really are

Gwenevier is she who in the spiritual, in faithful service, strengthens all that is pure which is bound up with the delicate working of womanhood

As we have already mentioned in the previous texts about the blessed gardens of Montsalvat upon the summit of the Paradise of human spirits, in these places there is also the starting point of the strengthening rays of Love, of Purity and of Faithfulness

The gardens of Purity bear in their fulfilling a very important mission, and that is the re-forming of the Ray of Irmingard for Paradise itself and also for the planes of the Subsequent Creation, that is to say for the materialities themselves, in which lies the field of activity of all the exalted spirits who are placed in helping service for the humanly spiritual sparks upon the path of development

And precisely the gardens of Purity upon the summit of Paradise have, in their working for pure womanhood, held from the beginning of their forming an important place in the leading of strengthening threads for all womanhood in the Subsequent Creation which seeks support for the unfolding of the virtuous blossom of purity within its inner being

When an earthly woman in her inner awakening longs to unfold and to hold within herself a pure intuitive perceiving of all that comes to her, then at once there attach themselves to her luminous rays woven by some of the handmaidens of Gwenevier

Without the earthly woman knowing of it, whenever in her inner being there awaken higher intuitive perceptions leading to exalted thoughts about the true task of woman upon earth, in that moment whole hosts of pure handmaidens who weave helps in blessed service to Holy God incline towards her

The hosts of helping handmaidens who strengthen the woman's soul striving for light incline from the very highest heights, whereby the first, in purity the strongest and most radiant currents descend from the primordially created Island of Lilies, wherein the purest handmaidens work directly under the protection of Irmingard

Out of these highest situated places the strengthening gushes forth in its all-embracing fullness permanently as a blessed and refreshing spring of Purity which pours itself out for pure service through all the planes

This permanence has been here since the beginning of Creation, when the Light radiated out by God began with its living pressure to form the forms of conscious being, and when divine Purity also brought about with its pressure the embodiment of the beauty and the charm of the pure virgins for the eternal upholding of the currents which descend into Creation from the gates of the Castle of the Grail

To the very summit of the host of the said virgins the spiritual Irmingard was raised, to whom the Will of God, through Parzival in grace-filled fulfilment, added a spark of divine kind and thereby made her the completion of the Holy Trigon in the Grail

Irmingard as the living likeness of Purity works in union with the Love of God, Maria, and with Parzival himself – the Justice of God, who administers the work of Creation in one single harmony with the Will of God the Father

The Holy Trigon is a mystery which the human spirit will never grasp, for within it lies the connection of the Holy Spirit for this work of Creation

The Trigon forms the living fulfilment of the perfection of the wisdom of God and of the eternal Harmony which, precisely through the trigon of Love, of Purity and of Justice alone, brings into Creation the needful vibrations of the radiation of God and out of them weaves the connecting threads for all the planes

It needs to be pictured as an image of a continual splitting of currents which downwards pass over into finer branchings, until at last they divide into those finest capillaries which unite with individual souls in the Subsequent Creation

In certain places where the division into finer currents takes place we can behold the points always to be found there, in which the base for such a division downwards is formed, and conversely the converging of the threads which, if they are nourished by fervent volition, lead from below upwards towards such connecting points

And precisely the first place where, under the direct oversight of Irmingard herself, the first separating threads of strengthening Purity are transmitted is the Island of Lilies in Primordial Creation

Beneath this Island of Lilies there is, somewhat lower, another place upon the boundary of the purely spiritual in the gardens of Patmos

And from there again the threads of purity run further with that power which Gwenevier with her handmaidens may receive and work upon in the gardens which lie in the light-flooded spheres beneath Montsalvat

It is needful only to observe rightly the living picture of the transmitted forces which hasten in their unceasing streaming to further places, where again in the purest reception they can bring strengthening and blessing with their life-giving power

There is here, then, the picture of the Island of Lilies, which in its radiance will remain impenetrable to the humanly spiritual, for its brightness dazzles too greatly and does not permit the recognising, and still less the grasping, of the real greatness of the service which takes place here, which rests in the vibrations of the pure extolling of the Creator and of his Will, which fulfils itself

Further, in the most fundamental division, we find the gardens of the pure virgins upon Patmos

Here too a happening takes place like that upon the Island of Lilies, whereby the handmaidens who may be here vibrate exclusively in the harmonious extolling of the fulfilment of the Will of God in Creation

Out of their hands the uplifting power of pure volition pours itself out further into the planes where, in the section of the spiritually created, we find, in the mirroring of the primordially created island of pure service, the place where the spiritually created handmaidens receive this primordially created radiation and, having adapted it, send it further precisely to the gardens of Purity in Montsalvat, where again it is received with thanks and in joyful bliss by the fellow handmaidens of Gwenevier here, and, adapted by them, it descends further downward into the materialities, in order to bring in its helping mission the power to rouse oneself to purity and to delicacy in spite of the many obstacles which place themselves in the way of such pure striving

Thus in this mirroring the reader can behold the happening of the gradual cooling of the radiated Light of God in the work of Creation, just as therein there manifests itself the all-wisdom of the Will of God, which in the individual gradation of the spheres of Creation makes it possible for each of the sections to have a part in the glorious consonance of the happenings which take place at the very summit of Creation in the Castle of the Grail

Precisely through the connecting lines of the homogeneous there descends always from the heights of Creation downwards a continually refreshing radiation which with its uniform magnetism always brings a certain part of the connection with the starting point of the power itself in the Castle of the Grail

The gardens of purity in the nearness of Montsalvat in the spiritual plane upon the summit of Paradise thus form the connection with the streaming of divine Purity, which inclines downwards like radiant bands of Creation from one place of re-forming to the next, which lies again upon a lower degree

Thus work all the connecting lines of the radiation of the Light leading through Creation down to the places of the materialities and thereby finally also to the earthly plane itself in the universe of the Subsequent Creation

And precisely along these connecting lines the earthly spiritual may then swing itself upward, in proportion to its inner purity, to the individual intermediate stages which lie above it always in a certain kind of radiation

Womanhood which has become luminous in its inward awakening may reach the gardens of purity in Paradise, in order from there, in fervent devotion, to invoke the radiation of the luminous currents of Purity which descend from the island of Purity in the primordially created planes in the nearness of the Castle of the Grail

Of course there are always several intermediate stages here, which form most natural places permitting a halt for growing accustomed to the ever more increasing luminosity of a translucent kind which is inseparably bound up with divine Purity

Gwenevier with her handmaidens provides an important anchoring for all the pure striving of women, if they seek to swing themselves upward in an inward longing for the nearness of the blessing purity in Creation

The gardens, working originally towards the spirits who are in the luminous places of Paradise, became at the same time, at the time of the gushing forth of the Light further into the planes of the materialities, also that place which sends its radiation through the necessary intermediate stages in the ethereal planes down to the remotest places of the gross material universes

This change brought new strengthening out of the heights, in order to encourage the joyful service of the luminous handmaidens working here

With joy Gwenevier received the new task, which however brought her demanding times in which she had to strengthen, from the heights of her place in the gardens, the distant womanhood immersed in the materialities, wherein it faced the snares and the baseness of the everywhere present darkness

Whenever, then, pure spiritual handmaidens were born into the materialities, at once a multitude of helps was sent to them out of the gardens administered by Gwenevier, so that they might stand firm in the materialities and not be lost

This task brought and even today still brings a multitude of battles, for the spiritual handmaidens incarnated into the materialities are soon exposed to all the influences of the disintegrating working of the darkness, which settled in the grossest materiality as upon its home soil

For a long time all womanhood striving for higher and nobler aims suffered under the pressure of the darkness, which wished to drag it down into baseness of every kind

And it not seldom also came about that even a very pure spiritual womanhood immersed in the materialities wavered under the pressure of the darkness and lost its original brightness and direction, which was to lead solely upward towards the supra-earthly connections with the luminous gardens of Purity

To the pain which this caused and even today still causes Gwenevier and her handmaidens, earthly womanhood still succumbs far too easily to the lures of the darkness, which, once it has caught its victim, will never again easily release it back for the Light

This causes a multitude of struggles and above all of wounding battles for the renewed liberation of a womanhood which once let itself be drawn only a little lower from the degree upon which it came into the materiality

But here too the dawn now begins, for the dark dragon has been struck by the sword of the luminous hero, and the spear which he misused for the severing of the worlds of the Subsequent Creation from the luminous spheres of Primordial Creation is now held by the hand of the King of the Grail, which has bound the will of Lucifer that set itself against God

The influence of the darkness has been broken, and across the abyss gaping between the individual sections of the materialities in the world communities new threads of encouragement and of strengthening are being led

Through this happening there also came the release of the currents of Purity, which can now flow into the Subsequent Creation many times more freely and thereby also more strongly, in order to bring strengthening to the many women seeking the meaning of their being in the materialities

Only the after-echoes of the previous setting of the world still lie like a stiff skin upon all the thinking and dealing of earthly womanhood, but beneath this clinging covering there already begins to stir the longing for the true Light and for Purity, which is inseparable from the Light

Through the spheres the songs of Purity resound many times more brightly, glorifying the fulfilment of the Will of God in Creation, which brings only an influx of blessing and of quickening for all that submits to this Will in joyful consonance

These songs are borne downward out of the gardens whose head is Gwenevier, whom hosts of pure spiritual women follow in her devotion to the Light

The Purity streaming through their folded hands is a power which will finally change even this earthly world towards a new picture of life, in which the virtues and the graces of the being of woman will be found as leading and directing all other life upward towards the Light

Together with her companions in the pure gardens beneath Montsalvat, Gwenevier weaves glorious threads leading to the strengthening of every movement of noble intuitive perception in the inner being of earthly women

At last her service will gain that place which was to have been accorded to it from the very beginning also in the remotest planes of the material universes

The aim of Lucifer at the delicacy of womanhood, which he derailed with uncertainty and with confusion in its search for its real task upon earth, is gradually disintegrating and falling away from the thought forms encircling the earth

Now the kindly and graceful womanhood can straighten itself in the freedom and the free-mindedness of an indrawing of breath of the Light, which were always to have belonged to it, for it lies with each woman alone how strongly and how swiftly, by her inner movement, she shakes off from herself the hitherto covering of unworthiness, of sensuality and of animal motherhood which Lucifer with his servants whispered to her as the highest mission that was to belong to her in her earthly life

The song of Gwenevier, however, tells of another task which is incomparably more glorious and uplifting, for it speaks of the inner brightness of woman, which is the most important thing wherein she is to fulfil

All else comes only after this brightness of the inner being, for with this everything begins and ends not only for the woman herself, but also for the whole of earthly mankind

It is something which cannot be learned, which can only be awakened and unfolded into a radiant snow-white blossom which by its very presence strengthens and uplifts all that draws near to it

And ever more it is now possible to perceive, in the delicate currents reaching even to this weary earth, the new wafting of the fragrance of the spiritual lilies

It is a fragrance which draws near for the refreshment of earthly womanhood in its pure striving, that it may now raise itself to a courageous step forward

Yet it is also directed to the male race upon earth, that it may at last change its view of woman and of her role upon earth

Gwenevier with her companions lets a bell-like message about the true meaning of working in the earthly world descend to that earthly world

This task is the becoming luminous of the inner being to the very shining of a radiant flame which perceives all that withdraws from the Will of God already beforehand as a warning unrest, and conversely receives that which draws near to the fullness of consonance with the Will of God as an appeasement leading to inner joy and to the blossoming of new inspirations

And alas, womanhood has hitherto had no opportunity here upon earth to unfold itself fully in its gifts, which would be most beneficial to all the striving of men

The receptivity of the inner intuitive sensing of what is right and what is not, that is the strongest armour of the woman's support of the direction of the world

And for this the womanhood of today needs to purify itself, so that it may stand in full liveliness freed from the distorting influences of intellectualism and also from the unhealthy agitation of feelings and of emotions

The intuitive sensing stands above all this and needs to remain attuned to the pure reception of perceptions out of the heights

Only in this attunement may it rightly receive that inner intuitive sensing of whether all that takes place goes rightly in accord with the Will of God, or not

That this gift may be regarded as undeveloped we can observe everywhere there where womanhood is not able to take up a spiritually right attitude towards all the direction of human society, which still moves in a wholly crooked direction in the majority of the endeavours both of governments and of individuals

And precisely in this it is possible to read that a complete awakening and unfolding of the true and supremely valuable abilities of womanhood in its inner intuitive perceiving and sensing of what is right and what is evil is still far from taking place

Although this still holds good in the majority, the dawn of a new path can already be observed, for upon earth, under the effects of the blessed currents out of the heights, there takes hold in an ever greater number of women that strengthening of true receptivity which Gwenevier mediates by her working in the fulfilling of her exalted office in the gardens of Purity beneath Montsalvat

Herself strengthened for this by the heightened influx of the currents of Purity from the Island of Lilies in Primordial Creation, she receives, in joyful extolling of the Creator, the power which she may continually pass on to all her handmaidens, who again work further downwards into the world-parts of the materialities circling in the Subsequent Creation

And the sounding of the songs and the fragrance descending downwards bring that awakening also to many men upon earth

Women may receive it in sleep or also in the waking state

Men too, under these currents of the pure influx, gradually perceive ever more clearly in what places womanhood is to be supported and where, in its liberation from the past wrongs of the violation of spirit, of soul and of body, the way is to be smoothed for it towards a new co-operation upon earth, so that it may fulfil the earnest task appointed by God for the raising of mankind

Now, when through the binding of Lucifer the strongest base of the attacking darkness has collapsed, it is asked of woman, for whom the greatest threat has thereby fallen away, that she awaken and make it possible for purity to blossom within her, which makes of her a being with the receiving capacity of the Light for the recognising of the right paths

She can and is thereby to be a support and an originating spring, and also a warning voice, if that be needful to men in their building and forming striving for the creating of a new social order upon earth

This fulfilment of earthly womanhood, however, cannot be accomplished without the highest movement in the striving for nobility of character and for the recognition of life, out of which there ripens the living wisdom which is to dwell in every woman

But where today is there truly wise womanhood

Apart from isolated exceptions we may say that it is nowhere upon earth in that measure and power which the earth now needs precisely in the clear discerning of the good from the evil

Thus every day, for example, the direction is lost for a great quantity of the forces of children who receive from their mothers no good and wise counsel, but on the contrary must themselves often battle in their hearts with the unhealthy deviation and the intellectual narrowness which they receive from their own mothers

Instead of a wisdom supporting a pure direction and keeping a spiritual overview above the mad confusion of the time, many mothers are co-spreaders of the chaos which bears witness to their complete straying upon their own path

Yet something of the kind need no longer be experienced at all, for the recognition of the Truth about life and the wisdom proceeding from this recognition lie in the nearness of man, and it rests with him alone to fix his gaze upon them and to grasp them in his hands

It is even possible to say that never upon this earth was the path to recognition and thereby also to ripe wisdom so simple and so near as it is today

This is given by the fact that the darkness is overcome

And now it depends only upon each individual man whether he shows his inner power for the recognition of the way out in the Truth

The spiritual view of the happening around this earth confirms still more that the recognition of the Truth is a step which the individual man must take for himself

Through the layer of the world of thoughts, which still bears within itself the past and thereby also the fading rigidity of the influence of Lucifer, it is however already possible everywhere to behold the presence of the lively currents of the Light which descend to the earth in order to help each of the earthmen who with their inner being show the will to move forward

Never was it easier to advance forward by so great a portion of wise recognition as it is today

Men are surrounded by the new vibration of many helps, and it rests with them alone whether they will open themselves to them

And precisely among the many currents there now descends the call, the song and also the fragrance of the radiant handmaidens, at whose head stands Gwenevier as the handmaiden of the temple of Purity upon the summit of the Paradise of human spirits

In these currents out of the gardens of Purity in Paradise there descends a call to women and to men, that they may awaken and seek the Will of God, in which alone the human spirit may find true help and strengthening for life

Real life unfolds only in consonance with a pure and healthy perceiving through one's intuitive perception

All that is contained in these words may be recognised only by him who occupies himself with it

Certain it is that the removal of the greatest part of all the pains and difficulties which constrict mankind today rests precisely in the said pure and healthy view of the world through the approach of intuitive perception

Towards this direction everything is also being moved by the unstoppable pressure which the Light surrounding this earth upon all the finer planes brings

This pressure is also already surging over, through the working of the animistic servants, into the gross materiality itself

Whoever, then, does not wish to wait for the harsh and unsparing awakening from these servants sent forth from Valhalla to heightened activity, he needs to take within himself an important step forward

Of helps for it he has immeasurably many around him

For all women in their awakening in the spirit a multitude of helps is contained in the currents which descend to the earth under the working of Gwenevier

She is a glorious being of brightness and of translucently radiant snow-white luminosity

In the present earthly world of womanhood she shines like a distant beacon of rescue, to which it is possible to cling and to hold fast in all the moments of the day

Gwenevier is a handmaiden who will one day be perceived upon earth as the spiritual ideal of a pure priesthood

In this direction, through her spiritual origin, Gwenevier will become the model of many girls and of virginally pure women, who will be able to unite with her and to perceive her pure service as a guidance for themselves which will lead them to an unprecedented wisdom about Holy God and about all life in his work of Creation

All this, however, is yet to come, in order that it may gradually become a part of the new and more joyful time of mankind upon earth
