From the Heights of Creation

THE WAY OF THE GRAIL – SUPPLEMENTARY TEXTS – March 7, 2022

In pain those pure spirits who as helpers have to do with this small Earth in the world-part of Ephesus look down from the heights of the Light

They look down towards the materialities in anxiety, for their clear and knowing gaze beholds the despair spreading out over the multitude of spiritual sparks which in their straying no longer strive upwards to Paradise, to the home of the blessed spirits, but plunge ever deeper into the darkness of destruction and rejection

They behold how in the last moment, in their groping of soul, these decide wrongly, so that in consequence they are immediately delivered up to the accelerated effects of the Laws of Creation, which push them ever closer to the erasure from the possibility of enduring existence in the work of Creation

The pain and the tears of the luminous inhabitants fall down into the materialities, for these were at the same time permitted to see how little would have sufficed for the spiritual sparks to be saved, had there come alive in them even the very smallest will towards the flaring up of the inner being in pure love and compassion with their fellow men in the great harmony of the work of Creation

These are not pictures of distant planes of twilight and darkening in the ethereal worlds, but they are happenings beheld above the threads of fate of those many spirits who are incarnated upon Earth just now

Yes, this spiritual plunging down into annihilation concerns whole hosts of men who dwell upon this Earth today

Outwardly these men perceive nothing of it, because they have become dulled towards everything more inward that belongs to the life of intuitive perception in man

In their closing of themselves to the Light, which came about solely and only through their own decision, they gradually withdrew from the task of their spiritual kind, and thereby they lose the justification for further existence in the work of Creation

Although their spiritual leaders and helpers did and still do everything so that earthly men might awaken even at the last moment to a higher perception of conscience, the threads of the luminous helps in the end for the greatest part remain only freely fluttering in the space of the universe, for from the Earth there does not rise towards them the needed reborn will of the earthly man's purity filled with good

Too many men remain behind the abyss which they have formed for themselves, and thus no rescue can reach them, for they are closed to it

But not even the smallest awakening to pure volition, which could lead to help on the part of the patiently working luminous hands, comes about in the greatest part of earthly men

Even a simple vibration of a fervent call for rescue from the Light, in a flicker of the awareness of the intuitive perception of the higher value of one's own being, would already suffice for the threads of the helps to take hold through the radiation gushing forth from the inner being of man

Here there is no talk of the words of men who outwardly call to God for help, but of the inner state of their spirit

In this there is a great difference, for God is called upon by many who, however, would at once turn every help of Light granted to them against their fellow men

These therefore remain behind the abyss and no help reaches them, for they have made themselves separated from the genuine help of the Light

It is therefore not merely a matter of appealing to God with many words, but here it is a matter of the radiation which precisely expresses the state of the inner being of man

And the luminous spirits see clearly into the inner beings of men, as though they were permitted to read in them, because this was made possible for them by the Light

It is the inner state of the spiritual foundation of man that decides upon his further existence, not his own supposition about himself

And upon this whole millions now come to grief, for in reality they closed themselves to the Light long ago, and under the pressure of the Ray of Parzival, together with the effects of the Laws of Creation, they are now falling downwards ever more swiftly

All the endeavours from the Light thus become vain, because they find no response in the inner beings of men who are asleep in spirit within an earthly body and also wholly intoxicated with themselves in intellectual self-exaltation

The threads of the helps that inclined downwards through the long time of the centuries thus had to be released for whole hosts of backward souls firmly closed to the Light, and the power of the coming happening now presses their fading spiritual inner being down into the lowlands of hopelessness, an inner being that is still surrounded by the ethereal covering of the soul and by the earthly covering as well

The earthly mind of man, however, perceives almost nothing of this in his day-consciousness

Only here and there a faint wave of subconscious foreboding passes through a man that something grave is taking place, that something immeasurably important is being neglected by him

This foreboding, however, is for the most part only brief and too weak, and thus, when this delicate vibration makes itself heard, it is ungraspable for the further work of the intellectual brain, which is the chief mover of the thinking of men today, and it is immediately drowned by a flood of diverting thoughts

The intellectual thinking at once provides man with a re-attuning to other matters, which it presents as more important

They are truly only vibrations of the intuitive kind, which come as the last opportunities from the spiritual spark, which however no longer has the strength for anything stronger

This state is confirmed by the icy paralysis in which the spiritual inner being of many men finds itself

A peculiar pain in the inner being does indeed appear, but it is always quickly drowned

It is a faint momentary stirring in the inner being and has not the strength to unfold further

Let men but listen and they will surely catch it, for it is a part of this time for all

They are the tears of the spirits which fall in the luminous heights and resound through space like a tender melody of pain over the lost sparks in the depths of the worlds

From time to time this melody must of necessity reach everyone, and thus also him who is asleep, so as to make him tremble for a moment

It is precisely the spiritual inner being that was permitted for a brief moment to catch the mournful melody, as the last helping thread conveys that the fateful plunge is quite near, and through the universe there resounds to him from the heights a voice whose content is the heaviest of words: “Too late!”

As was said, this state is at the same time almost impossible to grasp in the earthly consciousness, and as a rule shows itself only in a vibration of the heart, which is felt as a constricting pressure

The echo of the cardiac plexus passes briefly through the inner being of man, so that as the last help bestowed it might be used for a self-preserving rousing of oneself to a pure life

But the said inner subconscious foreboding is for the most part quickly pushed into the background, and all the more attention is then devoted by man to worthless and superficial cares and wishes of thought, which are connected with the purely earthly manner of life and with asserting himself in it with all its forms, which are continually changing

Thus one spiritual germ after another, still upon the path of development, hastens towards destruction without observing what grave thing is taking place for it, and nothing upon its course towards the end of its existence can halt it, for all the helps bestowed upon it failed of their effect and all the hands extended by the faithful helpers remained empty

Only an inner glowing through in the catching of a deep pain, and the most fervent longing to change for the better, could still halt a soul with a sleeping spiritual inner being in its fall into destruction

That, however, is here upon Earth almost impossible for many men in their preoccupation with the outward manner of life

The luminous helpers behold that snare which was set for earthly mankind by their instrument of the intellectual brain, incited by Lucifer and for that reason also dangerously overcultivated today

Together with an inner spiritual immobility the intellect works devastatingly, for it forms a wholly deceptive picture of the meaning of the life which man is to live

Confined in the coverings, of which the outer earthly one separates most strongly from all the other spheres of the work of Creation, the spiritual spark in man appears like the little light of a candle placed in an airtight vessel

The spark grows weaker, as it lacks the refreshing influx of homogeneous power from the Light

In its weakening it nevertheless still rules over a portion of free will, whose nature man does not recognise, and thus he does not know that he himself determines his path in the fateful weaving of his further pilgrimage through Creation

Weakening and without strength it sinks ever lower and lower, and the direction of the path leads through the Laws of Creation to the inevitable arrival at an unhappy end

Vain was the path upon which the spark set out towards its originally glorious goal, which lay in the ripening into the full consciousness of the whole spiritual joy of creative existence in the work of Creation

In an original, indescribably pure joy it stepped upon the beginning of its path as a little light needing protection, filled with vulnerability and with resolve at the same time

Led by patient, kindly helpers, the spark learned in its youthful development of soul to recognise all that surrounded it in the spheres of the ethereal gardens and also that which still awaits it upon its paths for the gaining of genuine maturity

At the same time there shone continually above it the golden radiance issuing from the gates that lead to the blessed places of the blue island, its spiritual home

It sounded and called like a mighty strengthening to set out upon the path of maturity, which was the condition for the return

Thus the young souls plunged into ever denser kinds of materiality, in order to find the place of their turning towards the gaining of the abilities and forces for the return

In the end they entered even into the coarsest covering of the bodily kind, so that in it they might be permitted to ripen for the return into the spiritual world

Like seeds in warm soil they were to germinate with their spirit, to rouse themselves and to shoot back upwards to the Light, to the home

Seized by the Laws of Creation they submitted to the cycle of repeated incarnations, which enabled them to ripen and at the same time to lay aside the guilt which through wrong decisions they had brought upon their way

With many it changed into a struggle for their very selves, for they had become too much entangled in wrong paths

Yet there always remained the blessing which, in the event of a strong inner rousing of themselves, was permitted to convey to them helps that in the reciprocal effects of the Laws would enable them to free themselves despite a heavy burden of guilt

With many, however, nothing of this will with the greatest certainty be fulfilled, and the fading glow of the spark is lost in the threads of that which comes afterwards in the depths, however much the present earthly body as a surrounding covering creates in them the impression of a life still enduring

Although earthly life appears as the most important, it is only a fragment which conceals the essence of the actual spiritual development

The human will needs to be directed towards the higher compass of existence which is bound up with the spiritual nature of the human kind

And this development was and still is neglected and overlooked, therefore everything upon the further path of the spiritual spark of man tends towards perishing

That which is happening now is only earthly transitoriness

But when the bodily covering ripens towards its end, earthly transitoriness will in no way prevent the soul, and with it the spiritual spark, released from all the helping threads, from beginning to sink down into the distant darkness which with its iciness and lifelessness accompanies the soul to the places where a revolving vortex draws in everything that comes near, in order to tear it apart with the force of animistic arms, to separate it and, in the necessary withdrawal of consciousness, to set free the spiritual foundation which, in its unconscious innocence, is permitted with its purified homogeneity in quiet flowing to rise back into the heights, where it becomes a part of the unconscious clouds of the spiritual nebula

Only there will the spiritual find the opportunity for liberation and for soaring up to the homogeneity with which it may then, in the unconsciousness of its foundation, merge

Yes, the condition of this kind of return of the spiritual upwards to the Light is the complete withdrawal of all the consciousness which until then was to have been formed upon the path of the spiritual spark

However much this may perhaps appear to someone as a natural happening, which in his frivolity he regards as an acceptable manner of his own end, let it here be recalled that for the human spirit there is no more terrible destruction than that in which, closely before its end, it experiences the possibility of remembering the most beautiful thing that was at the very beginning of its path, when in pure childlikeness it was permitted to rejoice in the loving care of the Light in its first moments of being

However much the naturalness of the working of the Laws of Creation is also contained in this destruction of the spiritual core of man, it is not that path which was given to his existence as a dower at the very beginning

It is no joy, nor an occasion for a jubilant welcome, but it is a path in which the futility of the previous development remains permanently contained

However much the spiritual foundation is purified, there nevertheless remains preserved in the work of Creation, in the inner beings of the luminous leaders, the prototype of the possible development, which was however dragged down into the depths, and instead of a jubilant ascent there remained only the unfulfilment of the path, like an unhealed wound

The spiritual, which upon its path of development was permitted to become in part already self-conscious, was in the end dragged down into destruction, because it could not raise itself to the needed highest degree of radiant maturity

Men upon Earth have no conception at all of how urgently necessary it is to raise oneself with all one's strength to a reborn nobility of character in the inner being, so that the promise of a victorious entry into the spiritual home in the Light may be joined to the spiritual path

And because they do not know this, they stray upon their paths, and with every word they utter, with every thought, with every impulse of volition, they only knot on further pieces of fate which burden their path through Creation beyond all measure

It burdens it so heavily that there is almost no hope left of atonement and of setting oneself free

The strength which ought to be at hand for it demands the complete casting away of all that now exists and the setting of all one's spiritual abilities to the weaving of pure pieces of fate alone

The weaving of pure thoughts and intuitive perceptions alone, without a single wavering in the attitude towards all that still rolls upon man in the stormy time of the Judgment

This can already be designated in advance as well-nigh impossible, if we know the state that prevails in the human intellectual brain and all that lies in the weaknesses of the coverings of the soul

It would mean the complete casting away of all the existing settings in the thoughts and forms which men use for judging the world around them and themselves as well

All this would have to be laid aside with one decisive wrench, in such a way that it would never return to man again, not for a single moment of the day

Yes, such strength can be found in the human spirit

It is that last will towards rescue which needs to have continually before it the parting of the way, which from now on can lead only in two directions: straight upwards to the Light, or steeply downwards, into destruction

There is nothing in between

That is that manifestation of the intensified and also accelerated effects of the Laws of Creation under the power of the Light coming from the judging Ray of Parzival, through which the direct power of the Divine kind from Imanuel intervenes

For the human spirit there is nothing left but only either, or

And it is precisely the spiritual helpers who are permitted to behold all this with their gaze, which penetrates into the radiation of the paths set for human spirits

They behold that misery, weakness, immaturity and unpreparedness of human spirits upon Earth, who meanwhile, in the earthly garment of the body, pride themselves upon their supposed abilities and skills

All this, however, is only worthless babbling against the gravity which is taking place in this time of existence in the threads of fate of the human spiritual spark, seen from the standpoint of its being for eternity

Men really have no inkling of all that the promise of eternal endurance in the work of Creation contains within itself

They do not rightly grasp the value which is bound up with it, because they do not realise that there is no other right direction for the human spirit than to walk upon the path towards gaining the fulfilment of the promise of eternal endurance

For the human spirit, in the fulfilment of its endurance, there is no other direction in Creation than the one which leads upwards

The other direction which is possible within the effects of the Laws of Creation is the one leading downwards

But that one does not lead to the fulfilment of the promise of eternity, but tends towards the end and the destruction of all the spiritual consciousness which the human spirit had until then gained upon its path of ripening

There are therefore two directions for the human spirit

The direction towards the fulfilment of possible eternal endurance in the Light, in the joyful working of fulfilling happiness, which leads the human spirit to an ever higher degree of personal conscious alertness and living movement

And the direction leading downwards, which however is not willed from the Light, but can always be designated solely as the failure of the human spirit

The first direction leads upwards to the Light, to the experiencing of a blessed and fully conscious existence in the spiritual worlds of the work of Creation

The second direction leads ever further away from the Light, to the place where the separation of the undeveloped spiritual from all the coverings of matter must take place

And because in the stripping away of the coverings the consciousness of an insufficiently developed spiritual inner being cannot maintain itself, there comes about its erasure and dissolution

And it is precisely against this end of the spiritual path that all the calls of the spirits warn, of those who incline down from the heights of Creation to the very places where there takes place a strong interweaving of all the opportunities for the right direction of the development of the spiritual sparks towards their full ripening

Their call is at the same time a deed, and thus from them towards the developing spirits upon their path there incline whole curtains of rescuing, helping strengthening for every spirit that longs to take hold of them

They are rays of strengthening refreshment which, like luminous curtains woven of shining threads, reach all the way to the Earth, in order to bring for all who are open to them a firmer anchoring in luminous volition

In these curtains of Light there is contained the needed strengthening for everyone who longs to unite himself with them through his fervent and pure endeavour to recognise the Light and the Truth in his life

There are contained in them living pictures which for those inwardly more receptive spirits in earthly bodies at once bring the experiencing of the nearness of the luminous worlds

Their vitality and strengthening reinforcement works like a refreshing, life-giving draught which the spirit needs for its path, that it may not grow weak and begin to waver upon its way upwards

The spirit in man needs the experiencing of the Light, which here in these distant worlds reaches it solely through inner vibrations

And therefore every spirit striving to walk towards the Light needs to refine the receptivity of its inner attunement, so that the melodies of strengthening and of a joyful rousing of oneself to deeds may stream to it, instead of the melodies of pain which arch above all those who have bartered away their will to ascend and voluntarily surrendered it in exchange for a temporary silencing of their conscience

The inhabitants of the luminous heights do not lament over the individual spirits who through their own guilt have made themselves worthless for further existence, but the pain that is born in them is connected with the fact that they are permitted to see how many gifts and helps the Light laid upon the path for the spiritual germs, to make their existence in the work of Creation possible

Nor do they regret what is taking place, but on the contrary they greet with a joyful salutation the work of the animistic servants, who under the leadership of the servants from the heights of the Grail now tighten all the threads for the accelerated release of the Judgment of God running its course above mankind

There is therefore in this no contradiction nor any lack of understanding, for the inhabitants of the luminous heights in their wisdom live solely in an enduring harmony with the happening that unfolds Lawfully in all parts of the work of Creation

That which is now taking place is for the whole Subsequent Creation an important advance towards a free and liberating exhalation in the closing of the happenings running until now, which have unfolded since the beginning of the origin of all the seven world-parts of the materialities

All the threads of fate of the individual creatures in this part of the Subsequent Creation are now driven towards the Judgment of God through the Laws of Creation fulfilling themselves, and that which does not stand firm in this judgment will plunge down into the crushing gearwheels, so that it may be cleansed and renewed

It is therefore only a work of the creative kind, for the result will be the restoration of the pure and healthy streaming of forces, thanks to which after a long time the channels of harmony will again be able to flow even in those parts where this streaming was impeded and was in part distorted in the application of the false principle of temptation

Thus also all that is now taking place and will yet take place under the pressure of the Light among men is only the fulfilling of all the paths which were woven in the past and now demand their balancing

This is now laid wholly into the hands of the High animistic servants of Valhalla, who, strengthened by the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, lead everything towards the final unravelling and liberation

The spiritual helpers and the wise leaders of human spirits upon the paths of development in the Subsequent Creation are permitted already now to see the unfolding of the paths of every human fate

It is made possible for them to behold the happenings in which every single stirring of the inner being of man now decides upon his further fate within the compass of his spiritual development

Those who are in some way connected with men upon this Earth can already now see the path towards destruction of many who are still today anchored in earthly bodies and who live, owing to their self-centred contentment with themselves, in the supposition that Divine forbearance will not let them fall into destruction

Against this, however, speak the threads of their paths of fate, which are now tightened under the pressure of the Light coming from the nearness of the Ray of Parzival

How much greater will be the horror in such men when their present earthly path is exhausted and they stand face to face with Sthyx, who will show them the way leading unalterably and steeply downwards into the all-grinding gearwheels that belong in the hands of the animistic servants appointed for it

Therefore those tears of pain fall from the helpers in the luminous heights, for they behold the inevitability in the threads of fate, which on the part of men could be changed only by the most inward longing for help from the Light

And also by this, that they rouse themselves even at the last moment and set all their strength out of themselves into the doing of deeds of the purest kind

At the same time they also behold how very few men will still take hold of this last opportunity, so as to transform it, in self-preservation for further existence, solely into good done everywhere and in everything towards their fellow men

From the heights of Creation a multitude of helping streams flows continually to the Earth, which however must be made use of, because for a long time now it has held good that reinforcement may be given only there where it is asked for in the most fervent humility

Whoever therefore is permitted to hear that sound in which there is the echo of the great summons to deeds, together with the warning that in a short moment it may already be “Too late”, let him no longer hesitate for a single moment and, without conditions towards other men, enter into his new existence, which vibrates in complete harmony with the Light

It is only for his rescue and for the preserving of the prospect of the possibility of attaining an enduring life in the glorious planes of the luminous spiritual home

One day he himself will then be able to behold all that was offered to him from the Light as forms of help, of which he was not aware and which not seldom, in his inner closing of himself, he did not wish to accept, because he supposed that he had no need of it

In the end, however, he did after all recognise it at the last moment as the most gracious help, and saved himself from the danger which threatened him spiritually

And then, when he himself is permitted to dwell in the World of blessed co-operation with others, it will perhaps be he who with all his strength helps all those spiritual sparks which, like a continuous stream of light, plunge into the materialities in pursuit of the fervent fulfilment of the wish to become mature, fully worthy inhabitants of the work of Creation

Perhaps he too will become one of those who are permitted to behold all the threads and happenings issuing from the inner being of the sparks striving for ascent

Surely he will then remember himself also, and his path, and his will to help those in need will stream through him like the glorious melody of a spiritual song

It will be his sound too that thus inclines down into the materialities from the blessed heights of Creation

Let there now stream to him, for his own ascent, the helps which the Light alone can convey
