Everything that is to be found in the work of Creation is alive

It is so because the radiation of God, which is the origin of all that has come into being and of all that still continues to come into being, bears within it a mighty driving power which pervades the entire space of Creation and thus quickens everything from the greatest to the smallest

Everything arose solely out of God's radiation of Light

And for everything that has risen to its being in Creation this Light always was, is and evermore will be a strengthening pressure, a movement, and thereby the bestower of Life out of the eternal source which lies in the Divine Principle of the Unsubstantiate

The creative radiation from God's source calls forth the streaming of forces, and out of these forces there subsequently arise forms and happenings

In everything in Creation there is therefore life

For this reason it may be said that even that which to the human eye here on Earth appears outwardly as seemingly motionless and thus lifeless, or perhaps as that which is even invisible to earthly eyes, bears within it a radiation which makes it all a living part of the entire work of Creation of God

Thus matter as such too is unceasingly permeated by a quickening radiation

It is primarily quickened by radiation of the animistic kind

It is the work of those servants of God who catch up the higher, finer kinds of radiation and out of them, from Valhalla downwards, shape the form first of the invisible and thereafter also of the outer, earthly visible world in the Subsequent Creation

Of these servants, who bear as their foundation a faithful connection with the Will of God, there are so many, and the space of the universe is so filled by them, that if men were permitted to behold but a part of the whole picture of their plane of working, they would at once experience amazement at what immeasurable hosts of them are present in this part alone of the solar system known to us

From gigantic figures whose size surpasses the material planets, down to small, smaller and smallest, barely perceptible beings active in the elements and in nature

All these are life-beings

Thus beings penetrated by the more or less direct radiation of the Will of God

Their weaving and forming might be perceived as a ceaseless teeming, as an unremitting movement recalling a great ant-hill or perhaps also a honey-making hive of bees

In all the movement and life, however, there always at the same time reigns a perfect order and thereby also Harmony

Such a thing is ensured by the radiation of God's Light penetrating all animistic forming, a radiation which bears within it the Will of God

An inseparable part of human existence in Creation is therefore the omnipresent working of the animistic servants, who work as the extended mobility of the Will of God

One day men will know of all this as of something wholly evident to them and also simply to be grasped from the first years of childhood

Today, however, for many men it is either something quite unknown, or it is called into question and pushed aside into the realm of myths and fairy-tales

Men close themselves to it in much the same way as, centuries ago, the movement of the planets and the running of the whole mechanism of the cosmic laws were called into question by many

With most men the soil is not yet formed in their manner of thinking and reflecting about the world in which they find themselves

And just as nothing was known of the forces of relation between the planets in the universe, and just as for a long time nothing was known either of atoms and of the parts of which they are composed, so today nothing is known of the world which in its earthly invisibility lives and works all around us with a kind of mobility never yet beheld by man

For a great part of men this world still has very many empty places without life

Yet the world of the animistic servants administers many happenings, in which for instance lies the mystery of birth, of growth and of the development of life on Earth

No man yet knows that driving power which leads to the division of cells and to all the further happenings connected with it in the fulfilment of all the gifts of life in the earthly body coming to birth

And it is exactly the same as when centuries ago men still knew nothing whatever of cells themselves and of bacteria and of all the other kinds of the smallest life, although daily they were subject to their influence and were compelled to face the difficulties arising therefrom whenever the harmony between the world of men and the realm of the smallest cellular life was disturbed

Just as the men of that time would have stood in amazement had someone been suddenly permitted to show them the world of tiny bacteria under a magnifying glass, so it would be with the men of today if they were suddenly permitted to see all around them the busily working world of the animistic servants vibrating on a plane invisible to earthly instruments

Therefore this kind of animistic working, in its pouring over of life out of the seemingly invisible into visible earthly materiality, has hitherto escaped material science

And even though such a man might be permitted to observe all this in amazement, he would then again grasp only a small part of it, for it would not be possible for his mind to encompass everything contained therein, when we speak of the activity of God's servants of the animistic kind

In the end nothing would remain to the observer but to let the sound going forth from it work upon him as a resulting whole, having the glorious consonance of a symphony of an exalted prayer of thanks unceasingly resounding towards the Creator

Many pictures of it may always be given, which will differ in their rendering and depiction according to who expounds them and with what aim, for many degrees of human knowledge and maturity may be reflected therein

But the time is now near when there will be ever more speaking of all that is described in the Supplementary Texts of the Way of the Grail

On Earth there are gradually awakening men who have brought within them the capacity for just this, which at this time opens to them in their fervent and pure approach to these gifts

All these graced ones are welcome to the Light, for they belong to the coming time of enlightenment

Among other things it is precisely for them that the soil of the laboratory Efemeridis is newly being prepared

Wide is to be the representation of the degrees of all the maturities of men who bear within them great gifts of receptivity for the knowledge of the connections belonging to a co-operation with the working of the animistic servants

It will be an important part of the time of the spiritual enlightenment of mankind on Earth

All should look forward to this coming time in joyful expectation

Therein lie hope and a way out for absolutely all the pains of human life on Earth

Therefore the Wisdom of God granted the possibility that at various intervals of time there might be born on Earth human spirits who bear within them many prerequisites not only to grasp this new thing, but also to develop it further

Everything is prepared for the awakening of the hosts of those who have hitherto waited for the call

The wave of the joyful advance of these graced ones will help to change the world in a wholly new understanding of the connections which hitherto had to be represented by blank spaces of ignorance

The time of this ignorance is at an end, and the ways to a new degree of knowledge are set free

It is at this hour in part a secondary matter how far the pictures caught up concerning the animistic servants and their activity may at first sight differ in human understanding

The unfolding happening is not to be held back by a brooding preoccupation with the initial errors in the rendering of the pictures, wherein differences will naturally appear from time to time according to the nature of individuals and the degree of knowledge with which they are permitted to penetrate into the said planes of animistic activity

Initial differences in it are natural, because it is a work of discovery

And every work of discovery brings at its outset first uncertainty and groping

There will always cling to it a share of human colouring, for the spiritual in man cannot do it otherwise

One thing, however, is certain

Everywhere where amid diversity a fervently honest way to wider vistas is sought, there is to prevail a direction leading to unity in harmonious reverence and mutual confidence

The essence of the whole ascent of mankind is the learning to listen to others and to seek inwardly the consonant tones of a like kind

That is the fundamental soil for the ascent of all, for everything weaker and of lesser worth in this advance will in the end always be laid aside willingly and joyfully by all those who truly seek the Light of God

It is precisely the experiencing that an initial knowledge of lesser worth built up out of single details can always advance to a more valuable and more comprehensive picture, in which at last everything tending towards the wholeness of the Wisdom of God shows itself many times more radiantly, that will then of necessity bring the opportunity to complete the laying aside of all vibrations of conceit and self-overestimation

In the enthusiastic advance it will be permitted to melt away in many men like wax in the noonday sun of a summer's day

This will lead only to new waves of enthusiasm for the common consonance of good-hearted men in their creative activity with others

For this nothing else at all is needed at the beginning than the inward attunement of the all-embracing volition of good

At the very outset, so important for the progress in the enlightenment of mankind on Earth, it is already enough to accept the knowledge that everything is alive

And also the knowledge that nowhere is there an empty place or a gap where unanswered questions about the sense and the meaning of details in the wholeness of the work of Creation would remain

Wherever man looks, he may always perceive close around him the working creativity of the servants of Creation, who tend his body, the coverings of his soul and also his own spiritual inner core

No one is left alone without the care of the invisible working of the supporting hands of the animistic servants

But human volition too is a kind of movement which quickens space

Beside the animistic there is therefore also a human spiritual radiation which quickens matter

It is that kind of life to which men have hitherto given but little attention, because it appears of small significance compared with the material assertion of men in the earthly world

Yet precisely therein the greatest error is made by earthmen

Everything is indeed alive, for in everything there is always contained some kind of radiation

Thoughts, born out of the inward attunement of human volition, live and work into the surrounding space of the animistic kind

In this radiation accord and harmony should always have been maintained on the part of men

It is part of man's task to work upon this harmony of the invisible kind, which is the germ of that which finally comes into the visible world

The task lies in the pure volition of a man who holds within him all-embracing good towards the whole world and towards all men

So it is to be, as far as possible, always and under all circumstances

And that even when one or another of them fancies that he has a right to scorn others, to despise them for their ignorance, their immaturity, or perhaps because they are of other peoples and hold other values

Genuine thinking of others which wishes them well is no duty to which a man must force himself

Yet it always clearly attests the spiritual maturity of every man, for from a certain degree of inward enlightenment onwards this attunement goes with him as something self-evident and inseparable from him

It is the proof of the true spiritual worth of men when they are able to bear harmony within them unceasingly, and thereby the power for the shaping of good upon all the planes of human working

Thereby they send out into the far spaces the most precious part of the spiritual gift which every man bears within him

The radiation of the genuine glow of the spiritual spark pressing forward is like a ray of light which brightly illumines all things

Only thus is it possible for man in the present time to unite himself with the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

A bright radiance bringing the highest spiritual movement and life everywhere whither the spirit of man thus made luminous is directed by the Light in his earthly existence

That is the simple and at the same time glorious work of the spirit in its very foundation

The worth of this living working of the spirit become luminous, in the present time of great changes on Earth, is beyond describing

Thereby the way is being cut for new forms of life on Earth, of which today the greater number still know nothing

These forms are contained in the radiation of the Ray of Parzival and are sent out into the Subsequent Creation, bearing within them the enlightenment for the rebirth of all life on Earth

In this time promised by the Light the Ray of Parzival, through its near presence above the Earth, is the origin of the highest movement in the Subsequent Creation

It carries movement into all the events and happenings which are now beginning to become visible

This movement thereby also confirms of itself that everything is alive, for much that hitherto appeared lifeless now comes alive, although until now men held it to be motionless or invisible

As this coming alive of much that seemed lifeless brings a heightening of the pressure towards mankind's returning to the great Harmony of God, which is decisive for all development in Creation, it will bring tremors into the most varied errors of mankind hitherto, and at the same time ever more strengthening will flow in for the liberation of human spirits out of the thousands of dogmas in which they dwell

And in order that the soil may be prepared for the human spirits freed from the prison of intellectual opinions, a spiritual enlightenment visible far and wide is to shine forth here at the needed hour

Spiritual enlightenment again goes hand in hand with the highest mobility and liveliness of those who have knowledge of this time and of its necessary manifestations in many events

Only in close connection with the radiation of the Light in the Ray of Parzival lies the promise of ascent

Nowhere else will it be possible to find a way out, because the continuation of the way of life on Earth is to unfold out of the living knowledge of the Truth

And that Truth of God the Father is contained in the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

It is a living happening which has hitherto escaped the receptivity of men

Now, however, is the time for this gradually to begin to change towards better times to come on Earth

The said prospects of a better life on Earth rest upon the foundation of the all-embracing good volition of men, without which no further progress can be looked for

Only upon this reworked soil in men can that blessed knowledge of the Truth begin to come in such a manner that it is rightly absorbed for the benefit of the individual and of the whole of mankind

This step, however, everyone needs to take within himself

No one can bring about from without the complete inward awakening of another human spirit

Therefore the present time is at the same time a very earnest one for everyone, for in this time men are being sifted, so that they may thereafter be directed into new circles of development of their spiritual inner being

Whoever awakens and opens his inner being to the incoming flood of Light will be led by the helping forces coming from the heights towards the centripetal magnetic attraction of the Truth, and together with this he will be able to climb ever more swiftly to the degree of his own complete maturity

He, however, who in the closing of his inner being lets this time slip by will on the contrary be borne far out to the edge by the centrifugal force of the movement of the Light, and there he will have to wander along the paths of icy gloom outside this earthly world, where he is threatened with wounding himself again and again through his own groping and erring

Therefore the Light calls to every human spirit to awaken and to lay hold wholly of the knowledge offered

There is now the best opportunity for it

On this Earth too, still spiritually slumbering, that great knowledge is beginning to reveal itself, that in the radiation of God's working everything is alive
