Deliverance From the Endless Stream of Hardships

Almost every man today is caught up in a succession of onrolling events which one after another enter his life often unexpectedly, weighed down with the confusion and despair they bring about

There are but few who have no cares

It seems as though with every new full moon this number of cares only mounts ever higher

Scarcely has a man succeeded with exhausting effort in freeing himself from one entanglement, when already another rolls upon him with no less force, still more troublesome than the one before

It appears as a struggle without end, which hardly lets a man wearied to the point of fainting draw breath

Exhausted, many a one therefore seeks with cautious tread to make his way through the wild jungle of the present world, in which with each new day he is uncertain whither his further path will lead

The longed-for peace, so needful for the creative life of men, appears ever more bared to the most varied outward shocks which come by day and by night

From all sides pour in tidings of events which demand an ever higher degree of alertness in deciding

The whole concentration of man is consumed by the question which way his further steps are to go, that he may not commit social errors and bring further hardships upon himself

So it is today with many an individual man

But what happens to individuals holds today in exactly the same way for whole nations also

The calm that has lasted till now among many nations is of a sudden a thing of the past

From many sides it is as though nothing were borne along but the dark beat of the drums of war

Public events seem to be the most tangled of the last decades

It is as if of a sudden the earth were to become one single all-pervading uncertainty for everyone who lives here

In this desperate state of things it appears that in this once more approaching difficult period of mankind no one receives the help he needs

That, however, is only a narrowed view of the present state

In reality a great enlightenment is very near, such as has not been here for whole millennia before

And this enlightenment brings with it victorious liberation for everyone who makes it his own in the understanding that he stands in the time of a great rebirth of human history upon this earth

It is not a rebirth which concerns mankind alone, but it is that very time which may be called the coming of the fulfilment of the ancient promises from the Light for the whole world-part Ephesus, which is one of the seven material precipitations of Subsequent Creation

All inwardly alert, thus spiritually mobile men should therefore in reality rejoice at it, for all that now comes to pass in the feverishly unfolding events is only the natural manifestation of the working of the animistic forces quickened by the drawing near of the Saviour promised by God

The Saviour has drawn near to the materialities, in order with his spear to hurl the dragon once and for all into the depths of perdition

And this has already come to pass

Now it is a matter of that part of the happening in which the transformation of all life begins to fulfil itself in the gross material plane itself as well

It therefore reaches ever more strongly into the world of earthly men

That which is a part of all the present, ever more tangible experiencing is the needful transition from the time in which the Luciferian principle of temptation has hitherto prevailed among men to the new period of the time of the enlightenment of mankind promised by God

It had to come thus, for it follows strictly the ways of the threads which are woven from the volition of men

We stand in the very midst of the happening which leads mankind over from the old suffering existence to an awakening into a new life filled with the Light and with the Truth

In this all is to become manifest

That too which has hitherto been familiar on earth as endless subterfuge and abuse in connection with the previous manner of using the intellect becomes with every day more and more laid bare, so as to prove all the more visibly how desperately incapable earthly intellectual striving, severed from spiritual wisdom, is when it comes to finding a way out of the growing distress

What today still appears as a solution fails already tomorrow, indeed it shows itself as a course which makes all prospects worse still

Such a state holds everywhere where reliance is placed upon the hitherto proven procedures springing from human cleverness

Cleverness is not the same as ripe wisdom

And this cleverness is rather only an adding faculty which joins together what is already known

The true freshness of spiritual creativeness is lacking today wellnigh everywhere the eye of man may look

Men only repeat by rote what has already been here in some form for millennia

Thereby, however, they mediate nothing new from the heights of Creation which would bring quickening and refreshment for a true spiritual building up

The world of men today is thus no more than an eloquent confirmation that the intellect alone, without the genius of the spirit, can truly do nothing but thresh the proverbial empty straw

Everything is fashioned only as a temporary makeshift, as a balancing, shaped out of necessity, of the collapsing certainties of the past, and not as that which should stand for eternity, as was once the case in ancient days on earth

Thus we have here the very time of the cunning of the intellect with all the baleful consequences which this instrument, severed from the spirit, brings

All this will grow stronger still, and no one will change anything in it on any essential scale

It has yet gradually to show itself in all that human hands touch

Where only that intellectual cleverness dwells and spiritual wisdom and maturity are not at the same time present, everywhere there a collapse will now come, because the temporary flight from the consequences of the short-sighted intellect will no longer be possible

It will show itself how limited the human intellect is, now that it stands alone without the support of the influential whisperer who enabled it to gain in men a temporary dominion over the intuitive perception and over all the ripe wisdom of the spirit

In the end it must of necessity touch everything and everyone

Neither individuals nor any communities will escape it

Not even those communities of men founded originally upon lofty ideals and spiritual values

Nothing will stand unless in the present it also bears within it a living connection with the Ray of Parzival

All communities therefore which are formed or upheld only upon intellectual foundations must of necessity fall

And alas, there is at this moment nothing on earth which has not in some way been touched by cunning intellectuality

But this is to be no cause for disquiet, nor for the expectation of evil endings, as many false prophets of the present time have grown used to proclaiming

The confusion and the lack of clarity in events are only a temporary appearance

Just as in a coming summer storm everything is first driven upward by the wind, to be laid afterwards where it belongs

Nature likewise takes no fright at the storm, however much life may perish in such a storm

Yet in the end it clears, and the sun again shines through the day

In like manner as with the storms which bring a change of the air, so now in the great world happening this too is brought to life, that we can perceive the intensifying of all events under the effect of the approaching power of the Ray of Parzival

The workings of the Ray of Parzival cannot be met by any of the existing means with which men have long offset the danger of the collapse of the results of their doings on earth

Although at the first glance it brings unexpected events, all this may be called the deliverance of spiritually pure men from the long-enduring malignities on earth

Therefore Parzival, in his present working as the Ray drawing near from the heavens above to the earth, may also be called the promised Saviour

Men who have at least some awareness of the higher happenings in the work of Creation should already know all this very well, and therefore also receive it with trust

He is the announced Saviour for all who are truly pure in their spiritual inner being

For many it is therefore needful only to hold their view of all the happening in a simple understanding of everything, which however is always necessarily bound up with great wisdom and with trust in the Justice of God

It is something that demands an inner spiritual movement in man

A movement which is always far more living than mere intellectual thinking alone

Inner trust in the Light, joined with the wisdom of a ripe spirit, is a precious foundation for the approach to life in today's time of upheaving changes

And precisely in this it may be observed today how few there are who are truly filled with trust and who truly hold within themselves wisdom in an alert spiritual approach to life

It shows how many men have not even an inkling of the true happening taking place on earth

With every new event, therefore, many men who are at heart more or less pure are thrown into unrest and mental confusion

This is because they too cling too closely to earthly understanding in all matters

As a consequence this must then bring them unrest through uncertainty, and thereby above all harm for the path of their spirit

Every day brings a flood of new tidings in which it seems impossible to discern whether they are the consequence of the working of the advancing Light, or whether they are the work of the evil that opposes the Light

Although now everything is compelled to go the ways of the Light, and thus even dark volition is driven into the paths set by the Light, men yet fear for their fate and for the fate of the whole earth

Fearfulness prevails in the inner being of many a man, however groundless it is and however fully it should already have been replaced by pure trust in the victorious advance of the Light

Instead of trust in the Justice of God the inner being of men trembles in apprehension, and also in indignation or unrest

That, however, is but the soil for the rise of many false prophets, who draw strength from those whom they self-assuredly lead into the snares of their expositions of the near and the distant future

However much this too is part of the needful sifting of inwardly awake men from all who sleep in spirit, it may be said that the working of such summoners of fear, without at the same time the kindly offering of a prospect of deliverance, becomes downright pernicious in its effect upon many a wavering soul

This can surely be observed by everyone who is but able rightly to weigh and to sense such doings

Whom men can serve by the kind of attunement they bear, men who on the ground of the pictures presented to them of the time to come are either irritated, made fanatical, or perhaps merely frightened, uncertain and fearful of every new report, that surely everyone can answer for himself

Quite plain is the answer to the question whether such kinds of attunement in man serve the Light or the darkness

For this no lengthy investigation is needed

It is surely intelligible even to a small child that he who is inwardly uprooted and fears all that goes on around him in the present world, and dreads still more what may yet come, that such a man bears within himself the soil for easy influencing and is readily driven into a corner by the setting forth of evil prospects for life

Fear and apprehension are the instruments used by all those who work among men against the Light

Whoever therefore works by leading others into uncertainty and shakes the inner trust in a good outcome in men who are still inwardly unsure, who often wage within themselves a great struggle to become better, and who also shakes their souls in the endeavour to exalt himself above them, he is in truth a betrayer of the Loving-Kindness of God, which is always and everywhere with all those men who strive to be good and honourable in their lives

Although all this is part of the present sifting of mankind, it is at the same time just that which causes the measure of wreckage among the human spiritual species in this time of great changes

Therefore away with all that, in the overwroughtness of deliberately fearful tidings spread abroad, shapes in men only apprehension and mistrust in their outlook towards the time to come on earth

Away with all that draws the thoughts of men onto strangely shifting ground, on which they can never have a clear view of the intentions and plans of other men, for no man today has any clearer knowledge even of the inner state of those closest to him, and many men are not even able to find their way within themselves

Yet now is the very time when everyone should above all wage the struggle for himself, for the values within his own spiritual inner being

He should therefore not let himself be agitated by the endless stream of rumours and reports about men whom he has never known personally and of whom he therefore never knows whether they really did or said this or that

He should not succumb to all that is to be found in the world of thought, which stands under the great pressure of the Light just as men themselves do

The world of thought has become for the most part a barren field overgrown with weeds, out of which all too easily much poisonous growth springs up

For a time it is so, and it will yet last a while before the cleansing of this so important part of human activity in the materialities comes about

Until then it is needful to be on guard against all the guaranteed reports spread among men today

Although such reports and speculations about the volition and the intentions of other men are, in a figure, a turning round in one circle without finding a way out, all this is today the subject of endless talk about present world politics and about all the men who for a time find themselves in it

Today's world politics is built upon the intellect and also upon mistrust in other men

Above all, however, upon complete mistrust in the help of God

All the reflections of men are ever led only around the happenings within the frame of this small earthly world, while the prospects of the true spiritual home suffer from the utter lack of interest on the part of most of present-day mankind

Yet this knowledge of the spiritual home is the foundation of every new approach to all life on earth as well

Therefore the helm of all interest is now to be turned right about in kindliness among those men who feel themselves already surfeited and also justly disgusted with the swarming and the grimacing of those who claim to know everything best and at the same time again and again set before their fellow-men a prospect of horrors and suffering

Away with all such knowing ones who make as though they knew what will surely come, while many of them in reality have not the least inkling of what will become of themselves in a few days

Such prophets are only deceitful underminers of the ways of the Light, however much they may think of themselves that they serve science and progress, or perhaps conversely that in the field of spiritual science and of spiritual reception they even serve a higher cause in the sense of a spiritual warning to men, when they spread for the most part terrifying pictures of an irrevocable fate for the time to come, without at the same time offering to the men who read or listen to their tidings a simple and clear way out

All these usually know little of what is truly needed for the showing of ways

Yet they are rock-firmly convinced of themselves that they know everything best

Everyone who seeks the Light should avoid those who seek to break into his thoughts and into his inner being as stealthy underminers of the pure trust in the victory of the Good and of the Light

Such are the true betrayers of the Light, they are those who in the Revelation of John are designated the adversaries of God and of all his grace-filled ways leading to the liberation and the rescue of those who belong to the host of the living in spirit

Behold, O man, thy Saviour stands above thee and his servants work for thee, if thou strivest in the purity of thy volition to be a true child of God

There is not a single reason for fear for those who alertly and patiently work by day and by night at the whitening of the robe which their awakened spirit is permitted to wear

Whoever lives at peace within himself and with others may in trust take refuge in the arms of the helpers from the Light before all the events of today

He will always in some way be shown where his path leads upward

Fervently experienced volition for the good is the best warrant for the Vaenen and the Alphar, who weave the threads of the fates of men, to lead such a man through all happenings by the ways that are ideal for him

It is the one thing that determines the direction and the unfolding of a man's path in the flow of the present happening

To this end all the inner strength in man is to be bent, that the good springing from the inner being may all-embracingly prevail over everything

Nothing is more important than the volition for good, in which the spirit ripens and learns, that it may become mature for the spiritual home

That is the path which the Lord now expects of every human spirit

There is nothing easier… and at the same time in this age there is nothing harder for mankind, which is wedged fast in the intellect

Yet everyone can step out fully upon the path which will begin to unroll before him as an ever clearer direction leading to the Light

The spark of the spirit within man can sense it at every moment

And yet there is still much unrest in those who seek answers to the questions rolling in upon them every day

To them this call belongs

Leave aside everything that disturbs and lies not within the reach of the human spirit in such wise that he may naturally change anything in it

There are many things which lie fallow, unglowed by kindliness and by goodness from man, only because his intellect occupies itself with trifles which this very intellect slips before him as allegedly of the highest moment, since thereby the attention is drawn away from all that is precious and belongs to his own spiritual inner being

The robes of other men are not to be whitened, neither of those who can do it themselves, and least of all of those who do not care for it

Ways of proclaiming God are not to be used which lead only to embitterment, tension and fear

God asks nothing of the kind from men

The Creator of the Universe does not need to be proclaimed in a manner that bears strife within it, that is, in aggressive hostility towards those of other faiths, such as has here been used for millennia for the glorification of God, and which for that very reason has become unacceptable to many men themselves and is rejected

Do men not observe in this that even here, in such precious endeavours, the working of Lucifer has settled itself

Is it still not recognised that upon many a perhaps even good resolve of men the tempter has at last set that devil's head which by its inciting leads of necessity only to the unleashing of evil and hatred among all men

Parzival asks of the human spirit another kind of conduct

The Saviour expects that it will be granted him to enter the inner being of a spiritually awakened man, in like manner as the dawn of day shows itself in the coming brightening of the landscape under the touch of the rays of the golden morning sun

The ringing sound of the promise that everyone who longs for the Light shall be received – that is the announcement of the true coming of the Light of God upon earth

So it is to be at every announcement of the coming of the Saviour to a single man, that his inner being may be filled with trust and with joyful courage for the deed of changing himself

By making his own inner being luminous through kindliness towards those nearest to him, the spirit does the best for the world and for himself

The proclaiming of the Light and of the Truth is therefore also to take place in a manner pure and fervent, as is expected by the Saviour of those who have received into their spirit the knowledge of the Truth

The expounding of the Word of the Lord is to be led along the ways of a distinct, clear and at the same time kindly ray of enlightenment, it is to come in the form of a ray of Light which removes the darkening and awakens to life many a tormented inner being of men who have perhaps already almost wholly lost hope of a new life

Such an expounding of the Word of the Lord cannot be done without fervour, out of which there springs from him who imparts the knowledge of the Truth an ever recognisable sincerity and a longing, fully glowed through with intuitive perception, to help others

Not self-satisfaction, therefore, not pride and haughtiness, but only the purest fervour can serve the Holy God in the human spirit

Not the endeavour to prove to one's fellow-men their faults and to tear open all the places where they still err, but first of all always to awaken and to fan within them the all-embracing victorious flame of good

Only then is the Will of the Lord rightly left in his words and sentences, as it is required by him, when in the passing on of the Truth about God and his work of Creation there is at the same time present on the part of the human spirit a pure fervour and kindliness

Where the will to good triumphs in man, there all that is wrong and false will gradually perish and vanish, for it will no longer receive living power of volition from the human inner being

All striving of men who long that strengthening and deliverance may come to them from the Saviour should therefore be directed only towards good

Yet few men admit that here on earth too man can find manifestations of the effects of the Laws of Creation which visibly and tangibly further the good among men

And yet it is so

Without the working of good on earth it would never be possible to hope for the deliverance of men who strive towards the Light

And this is exactly what is coming to pass

To him who is inwardly filled with good, helps of an unprecedented kind will draw ever nearer upon his path, that he may at last recognise that good upon this earth is the true and the only victorious magnitude in the time to come

Thus, beside the mutually destroying and shattering forces of evil, we can and also shall behold ever more distinctly where everywhere Light and good flow into the nearness of our path

So it is everywhere in the working of the animistic servants, if only we ourselves do not cause harm and suffering to these servants of Valhalla

This planet earth is a glorious place, brimming over with kindliness, against which the darkness loses ever more of its power

It is only needful at last to look also upon all that still lives itself out here as visibly self-destroying evil, and upon all that, through false prophets and through many men working in the media, feeds the thoughts of millions in the endeavour to produce proofs that the world is rushing to its ruin

This earthly world is swiftly drawing near to its redemption and deliverance from all the claws of the darkness

And it is only evil itself which on the contrary strives to speak as much as possible of the approaching end of all life on earth, in the endeavour at the very last moment to unsettle and drag down all those who have no firm trust in the Saviour

The gaze of man is to be directed towards the Way Out and the Source of Life, so that his hitherto seemingly endless stream of hardships may come to an end

The more men recognise what unsuspected might of intuitive perception and of thoughts lies therein, the more swiftly will all outward events on earth also change

It is therefore not hard at all, only men themselves make it hard

In trust, therefore, let man look upon all that takes place on earth today, for it is given from the beginning that the Good and the Light shall belong to all who praise the Lord

So it is, and so it shall also be fulfilled
