The threads of the weavers fly through the universe, that, gradually anchored in the material planes, they may bring to this earth also the birth of a new age

Above this universe the germs of the new are already forming, while the old is still dying away in the roar of the living out of the existing fabric of the fates of mankind

The three seeresses at the foot of the tree of knowledge began long ago, in the recognition of the Will of the Creator, to spin the silvery shining threads of fate of mankind, which will begin visibly to fulfil themselves in the hands of the Alphar when the part of one great chapter of earthly mankind closes

The divide between the old and the new, however, never comes to pass in a single moment, and therefore already now the first particles of the new penetrate into the old, which as yet, however, are only germinating, similarly as the seed hidden in the earth awakens beforehand to life at a time when the soil on its surface is still without any manifestation of new life

Men need to recognise that in the flowing of the Wisdom of God events never come to pass in gross materiality as the narrowed comprehension of the human earthly world of today pictures it to itself in its distortedness

It is withal not so hard to recognise the Wisdom of God, because it is here only a matter of a sensitising of the receptivity for the actual happenings which are being fulfilled on all planes

It is therefore only needful to make luminous one's inner attunement for the intimations of the happenings which as a rule bear the announcement of a new development long beforehand

Therefore in the dying away of the old flowing of the threads of fate the wakeful eye of a seeing observer can already behold the preparation of the new, which has not yet, however, so distinct an expression as to be sufficiently evident to the majority of men on the plane of gross material intellectual perceiving

In reality we behold around us the present time, in which among men in the earthly world the events of their long past volition are discharging themselves, and at the same time there descends a new happening which is woven out of the threads of volition born in a later time

These threads may be called personal threads, which bind themselves to individual men and shape the course of society

Above these small threads of the returning fruit of volition, however, there stand the great threads of the development of the whole work of Creation

It may be said that these great threads rule the mentioned small threads by their pressure

By their ruling they do not change the small threads, but shift them into a new setting, whither they direct the development within the frame of the great development of Creation

Thus today also the small threads meet with the great, that there may come the new which is willed by the Will of God

The soil loosened by the present experiencing will become the initial foundation for the new which is drawing near

Already today the new immerses itself in intimations, that it may be made ready here for the moment when it will at last for the first time be permitted to become a part of the world of thought of men and thereby at the same time become an experienced reality in the earthly world also

In the world of thought it ripens towards clarity, that it may thereafter flare up as the dawn of a new being

It must therefore ripen to the right degree, which will make it possible for the new, which is already prepared here, to be permitted to enter into the everyday life of men as something which will gradually become a self-evident part of the earthly world

There is therefore already the new here, sent down from the heights by the Will of God and bound up with the maturity of men, which in the present needs in haste to shift forward, that it may suddenly step forth into the light of this world as a knowledge in thought of a new path

He who wills, he will penetrate into the depth of these pictures and thereby make his own the gift of a certain foresight, which, however, has nothing in common with human estimating and with intellectual assumptions, which are almost always mistaken precisely because they proceed only from the experiences of the past, while knowing nothing of the new

Only in humility is it possible for the spirit of man to grasp the shining threads stretching above the worlds, which are the bearers of the future happening

Of that happening in which the petty human volition in the present has not sufficient strength to influence that which comes in fulfilment according to the threads woven out of the higher wisdom of the guidance of the worlds

There are many paths which lead through great changes to new periods, in which there is again to be found for human spirits the possibility of living out and of laying aside the past

Both determine the further development of human society and of the whole planet earth

For a right recognising we therefore need to distinguish those threads which have arisen out of human volition and the threads of a many times higher determination for the development of the whole within the frame of the work of Creation

Earthly mankind is too strongly taken up with itself, so that it supposes itself to be the sole determiner of the paths of the development of the happening on earth

It lacks the connection with the actual threads permeating through the worlds, which bear within themselves also the determination belonging to the development going from above downwards

Men have thus crowded out of their reflection the consciousness that the determiner of the paths in the development of life here on earth also is the Will of God, descending from the castle of the Grail into all the parts of the work of Creation

And withal the Will of God alone is determining, in the great stages, in what direction the development of human spirits will lead in their ripening towards a higher becoming luminous

Men today do not know of these paths, so that they attach no significance to them in their reflecting and disputing about the present and the future of this space of life on earth

Their decisive angle of perceiving themselves and also the social life is the ingrained intellectual reflection which is always closely bound to that which takes place visibly in gross matter at a given time

That this is a limited perceiving the intellect in its fetteredness never admits to itself

Thereby all who reflect upon the time to come must almost always be mistaken in their reflections

In order to reach the essence of that which is coming to pass, and above all then of that which will come, they lack the foundation which lies in the diminishing of the importance of human opinions

Let us consider that the present itself here on earth is always a certain consequence of that to which the foundation was laid in a long past happening

Not perhaps in a direct inheritance of the state of things, but in that which comes as the returning threads of the earlier volitions of individual souls which return to the earth for further development

To this earth, in the mentioned small cycle, there return the threads bound up with the souls which are now to be found on earth

Thus the hosts of souls on earth also, which endeavour to work towards influencing the world in which they live, are nothing other than a part of the fulfilment of long-woven threads, out of which the will of free volition manifests itself as determining only in new decisions

In everything there prevails a clear and strict order according to the Laws of Creation, whose fulfilment the Alphar have in their charge

The souls are brought here to the earth precisely at this time because, by means of the threads formed out of the love and the wisdom of the Will of God, they were permitted

to come into the given time for the completing of their wholeness

They come to the earth for the living out of their own past errors and for the unfolding of their virtuous qualities, if indeed they use their time on earth for it

It is made possible for them to be born into the given time and exactly in that place where they may experience what corresponds to their qualities of soul and above all to their maturity

In the way many souls in earthly bodies meet, in the way they endeavour to assert their wishes, more or less noble, there then arises the corresponding state of the present in the social happening

This happening is again an influencing of many new threads which are born in the hands of the Vaenen out of the human experiencing of the state of the present on earth, and which in their long-term reach will in the end always manifest themselves again on earth in some way

In the way we now live in this time on earth we influence the state which will thereafter come in the experiencing that will manifest itself on earth in the small cycle of the threads

And precisely therein the great responsibility of every individual man manifests itself, for his attitude to life today determines how the total state on earth will manifest itself in the following period

Through his own shifting forward and in the freeing of himself from past dogmas each of us may shape the ground for the future time of this earthly world, when perhaps we ourselves will again be able to come out of the blessing of the threads of the Will of God, in order to continue upon our path

The cycle of the small threads streams and fulfils the Law of Reciprocal Action in the threads of the paths of the soul

At the same time the cycle of the great threads shifts and develops, which cannot wait longer, for they are driven forward by the power of the Light

This cycle of the great threads now shortens the reciprocal action of the small threads under the pressure which arises out of the nearness of the Ray of Parzival

The nearness of the Ray of Parzival brings an unprecedented acceleration of the happenings

That which earlier, in the further experiencing, separated whole generations now returns in social life already within decades, nay even within the span of only years

In the end there will come a yet more accelerated shifting and development of the happening, which demands of every individual man the highest inward movement forward within the span of weeks, of days and as a result even of hours

Despite this ferment in society, however, the main guidance of the threads out of the Grail remains ever the same and leads everything exactly to the fulfilment of the great promise

It is that appointed hour of the fulfilment of one great divide in the development of this part of Creation, of which God the Father alone knows

Seen in the connections, as the mentioned woven great threads out of the Grail contain it all within themselves, the human volition influences the weaving of the paths only with a partial share

It may be said that this volition of men always influences the lesser within the great events

Of course, from the view of the participants in an earthly body the events which are experienced by all men in the time of the present appear as the most important and thereby also as determining whither the further development will move

And it is also right that it is experienced thus, for in it we men ripen

According to how strongly, more or less, we press outwardly into the material space around us the struggle waged for the realising of our conviction, with such strength may the receptivity of the inner being then develop and the flame of the spirit grow strong, if in its impulses it is guided with all its might only by the good

This volition of individuals is in reality only a small part of the direction set by the Will of God, which the animistic weavers and shapers hold and guard, wielding incomparably mightier forces than are given to earthly man

Human volition inscribes its striving into matter and thereby creates the social happenings, the culture and the setting of life

At one time they have better and more beautiful shapes, at another time also shapes unbeautiful, nay dreadful, bringing suffering for all those who must experience it

But above this world of earthly life there work the threads guiding happenings of a higher kind, which after a certain time bring an actual shifting in the development of whole world parts and of the universes contained within them

It may be described in a picture as a stage upon which a happening plays itself out, where the scenery of the setting changes, so that the participants must act according to this scenery, which is changeable

Yet above this stage there works the hand of the owner, who from the beginning has his supremely wise intention with the total development from the beginning until the end of the existence of the space of the stage

The souls of men inscribe their stories into the individual parts of the happening as they come and go from the scene

Thereby they weave the development working in the small circle of the returning threads, which unite at the same time with the threads of the great happening within the frame of the work of Creation

The volition of these souls is contained in the woven threads also, and it always approximately predetermines that which appears to men on earth as new social events

In the threads spun by the seeresses, however, there is contained all that manifests itself into the happening of the worlds

The great threads bear in their vibration both the possibility of amendment and also the fall of individuals and of whole nations

It always depends only upon the state of men on earth whether things manifest themselves symbolically or in the fullness of their kind, no matter whether it be evil or good

And precisely now there draws near to the earth in fulfilment a part of the threads which bear within themselves a strong impulse for the shifting of the development for all lands and nations

The men in these individual nations will share in the experiencing either of an ascent and an unexpected unfolding of the forces of the free spirit, or they will experience a decline and a disintegration of their hitherto existing endeavour

The same power, coming through the intensifying of the influx of Light and compelling a shifting forward, will bring differing happenings exactly according to how the threads out of the past working of these nations and lands are set

In this everyone can indeed easily divine what will come, if we know the historical events and lay upon this history the effects of the Laws of Creation

Other effects will manifest themselves with nations given to conquest, and others with nations that preserve a nature full of peace

Thus the coming happening will also bring the fall of one nation which failed in its originally glorious task, which it was to fulfil in faithfulness to the Light on earth

The running out of these threads is already beginning to immerse itself into the present, that it may become a fulfilment and thereby for earthly men an actual recognition of a bitter fate

The measure of this bitterness, however, the men of the present hold in their hands

The wavering and the fall will come, for so it is inscribed in the threads

But thus do those regard it who are permitted to divine it at least in part rightly, for by the Wisdom of God there is already contained within the fall the promise of a new ascent, exactly as ever new threads immerse themselves into the material worlds

The enjoyment of power and success of many nations will be succeeded by bitterness and by a fall, so that at the same time within the experienced bitterness there may already be contained the promise of a rebirth in a new humble awakening

How this will run its course and how short or how long its duration will be depends withal solely and solely upon the free will of the earthly men of today

It can be a swift and short happening which will lead to a turn for the better, but it can also be a happening of decades of grievous unfreedom before a new impulse towards liberation comes again

Thus the history of mankind surges to and fro and always contains within itself an open path to ascent, if mankind would set foot upon this path in a genuine decision with the most earnest volition towards the good

The helping threads which lead to a symbolic experiencing and thereby to the laying aside of the past are always here

But it is not in place to speak of the present, for today the veil of the time to come is to be lifted a little

This time will come, for it is woven into the threads of the Alphar, and these have already prepared much of it for the further development

Let us therefore look upon the picture of the fall of a great nation which now draws near to this fulfilment through the threads to which there clings the failure in the opportunity afforded of a great service to the Light

Under the pressure of the happening there will be shaken in its foundations and will collapse into the dust precisely that of which the nation was hitherto the most proud

The ability to rule the material in the highest measure of intellectual and also of a certain spiritual maturity

The sense for order and the ability, arising out of it, to be materially successful walks step by step gradually towards emptiness, until it becomes a thing of the past

Into the garden of noble plants guided for millennia by the sensitive hand of the gardener there has been blown a multitude of plants of another kind

And these plants will seize the beds, to rule them almost entirely for a short time

Decimated will the beautiful straight rows of bright blossoms appear, across which the alien plants will begin to grow rank, longing to be a match for these beds

Confusion and anarchy will prevail for a time in the hitherto carefully tended beds

Many plants will lose the will to joyful blossoming and will perish under the pressure of the stifling surroundings

There will remain only small islets which will keep themselves alive in the rays of the sun

But as the new plants take hold in the soil, neither will these nations attain peacefulness, and they will be driven towards a development which will be stronger than their hitherto existing kind bears within itself

It will be a great rebirth under the pressure of a higher happening which will seize the garden of the great nation

And storms will alternate with a scorching sun above this place, until one day will dawn when peacefulness will spread abroad, whose origin will come in part from exhaustion, but at the same time also from the vibration of a new seed which will immerse itself into the soil

This day will be held to be a rebirth, for over this place a new spiritual blessing will arise and everywhere there will spread abroad a spirit of reconciliation and a longing for new building

From that time on it will already be a reborn nation which will step out upon its path into the new age, in which there will appear new forms of living together brought in archetypes by the Alphar

Gerismanie, such is the spiritual name which hovers above the newly ordered place in the future of the earth

But everything still needs to ripen, for now the Judgment of God spreads over the earth, and in it everything needs to manifest itself, that it may prove either its inward soundness or its rottenness

The exalted animistic servants drive everything towards the point where the intensified demanding of the Laws of Creation will bring upheavals into all the hitherto existing doings of men

At that time there will set in the experiencing that everything human which was set only for gain and for selfish volition will show itself as too barren for the blessing of the Laws of Creation to unite itself with such striving

And nothing of that in which this blessing will be lacking will be able to endure in further duration

Thus much will fall apart which still today endeavours to create the impression of a firm and sure foundation for building

It will crumble and fall apart as forms which can no longer endure, for within them there have meanwhile already germinated new forms growing out of a pure foundation

In the ruins of the past the new will arise, because this new is already being joined by the hands of the Alphar to this earthly world through the threads of the archetypes

And everything hastens towards this moment of transformation at a swift pace

Just as under the pressure of the rays of the sun the new is born everywhere where the old is living out its end, so under the Ray of Parzival new forms of human life and men themselves will come to life for the new age, which today it is not yet possible rightly to picture to oneself, for into that new there still presses in thought that which is known to man today as the present conception of the ideal of earthly life

New forms of the earthly life of men filled with liberty, with the freedom of the spirit and at the same time strictly accompanied by a conscious responsibility for every one of their deeds, that is the promise of a new being for human spirits become luminous and filled with kindliness here on earth

It is not yet the time to speak of anything closer, for the present world of thought of men would accept almost nothing of it and would strike against the mentioned new forms, filled with the blessing of the Light, as against pictures too lofty, with which it would find no connection, because it lives in its own forms which are anchored too strongly in the present

Only particles can be uncovered a little there where the ground is already in part prepared

But even there everything is connected only with ideas, and were anything to pass over into the actual, it would appear as distant

Therefore we need to pass in haste through a development which in its flowing will lead every individual man to the making his own of humility and to an inner becoming luminous, whereupon only then will the hands of the Alphar be able to begin to let that arise which is now being gradually brought by luminous hands into the near space in the universe

For then the ground in the human spirit will be prepared for him to receive it all in the understanding and in the knowledge of the Wisdom of God and gratefully to unite himself with it

Then there will arise the new time which is today sought by ever more men as the time of an enlightened human being on this earth

It will touch favourably, supporting the ascent, all the continents and nations on earth

Everyone will be able to walk the path forward in a living together with the rest of the human and also the animistic world, which will work supportingly and naturally around him in all the moments of his earthly life

All this is ordered in the threads of the higher happening which draws near in order to bring a becoming luminous and support to every inwardly pure spirit

However inconceivable it appears today, already today the first particles of the mentioned new world immerse themselves in the quiet weaving of the Alphar

If anyone longs to experience the fullness of that new promised time on earth, let him work within himself upon peacefulness, wakefulness and the joyful childlike trust of his intuitive perceiving towards the great Justice and Love of God, united with which he can and is to be already today a help to others upon their path through the present time
