Active Cores as Anchorages of the Light – Blessed Starting Points of Hope For the Spiritual Enlightenment of All Life On Earth

Everything that arises and is born into its existence within the work of Creation begins to unfold from an initial starting point

With everything we find the presence of a certain fundamental point which, as the starting beginning, first makes possible the further continuation of the development

Without the said starting point nothing in Creation comes into being

The knowledge of the need of a starting point for everything that comes to visibility may sound to many a man like something self-evident, and therefore he never had cause to reflect upon such a thing further

Yet precisely in this knowledge there lies hidden much that is important, bound up with success and also with failure in the human world

This knowledge was known to the peoples of old and counted with them as far more precious than it is regarded today

We may say that hidden in it is the knowledge of the ascent, but also of the decay, of everything that is born into the light of the world, and this according to how this knowledge is used

It is a process which may be called the ever-repeated fulfilment of the Will of God in the great penetration of the creating radiation of the Light through the planes of Creation

In a picture, it is a matter of the joining of prepared radiations bearing within them ideally suitable conditions for the anchoring of something further that comes from higher planes

Through the joining and the glowing through, the core of a new advance forward is formed

It is the happening of the kindling and of the subsequent flaring up of a new anchorage for the radiation of the Light, which in some matter brings either an entirely new beginning or else a renewing inflow of quickening radiation as a completion within a movement already unfolding, and as a part of the lawful development that is found in all places throughout the whole work of Creation

So it is first and foremost everywhere in the finer planes, where everything immediately takes on clear forms moving swiftly towards a fully valid manifestation

Every such primary point in the spiritual planes of the work of Creation may be described as an anchorage where the radiation of the Light was permitted to take hold, so that from it, in that very place, there might immediately afterwards arise a complete form holding within it everything needed for its unfolding in accord with the Harmony of the work of Creation

It is thereby all one whether it is a matter of an animistic or of a spiritual kind of working

Whether therefore they are forms of buildings, of landscapes, of beings or of the spiritual inhabitants of the work of Creation, who bear within them free will in deciding, it always holds that in order for this or that to be able to arise for its unfolding, it needs to have at its beginning a support in a previously prepared radiation, which is precisely that starting point for the birth of something new

In the same way, though far more slowly, this process takes place in the materialities of Subsequent Creation also

The initial starting point is a core which is always unconditionally needed for further unfolding

The point is an anchorage of forces fixed in a certain place, forces which draw near to it in homogeneity

The said beginning is therefore the condition for the further unfolding of everything that may flow to such a point out of the Light

The necessity of a starting point we find here on earth also

It is an inseparable part of all development, which science too acknowledges, for it finds it in all its observation in the investigation of matter

It is contained in the whole birth of the gross material universe and of all its individual parts, of suns, of planets

It is also a part of the development of life on earth

Among other things this radiation in gross materiality is bound up also with the position of the stars, which are thus the outward visible testimony of the nature and the further development of the forces contained in the point of the beginning

Everywhere where something new may come from the Light in support of a further development and ascent, we find this happening of the forming of a supporting starting point, which is the result of the working of the never exhaustible power out of the Principle of eternal Life

Everything that issues from God's radiation can, and also is meant to, unfold unceasingly, for in the unsubstantiate origin itself of God the Father there is no limitation whatever within the all-embracing fullness

This alone is already a cause for reflection for men who think earnestly

Always there will be development and progress here throughout the whole work of Creation

Always will the planes and worlds contained in Creation be strengthened and driven forward by the pressure of the Light towards a new glorifying of the Creator through active happening

This knowledge is the conditional foundation for any working and upbuilding in which human spirits may share

It is a capacity which bears within it the promise of a great service to God

Without an understanding of this lawful happening nothing can ever be rightly built

If anything coming from the Light is to take hold and be rightly anchored for its further unfolding, a mature starting point always needs first to be co-created

For the harvest in every field the sowing of the grain that bears within it the promise of life is needed first

In other words, if anything is to vibrate rightly in the Will of God, it needs to follow the call of this Will, which permeates the whole work of Creation, bearing within it from the beginning the condition of lasting movement and growth, and this either in the sense of attaining perfection and full value, or in the sense of the further widening of what has already become perfect

And this happens precisely and only by means of the grains and the cores of life – the starting points offering anchorage to the radiation of the Light for further development

As a self-acting Law of eternal movement, development is contained in the Love of God, which forms the conditions for all the forms of life that are born out of the radiation of God's Light

And the birth happens precisely and only through the initial grains, through the cores bearing within them the courage and the strength to catch the upbuilding forces out of the radiation of the Light

Thus the great message of God's grace descends from above downwards through all the planes of the work of Creation

It is the driving power towards development and towards the attainment of perfection within each species

Where perfection has then already been attained, this shows itself for the whole as the completion of one developmental part, which then serves as the soil making possible a new inflow of power, so that the Holy Power of God contained in the radiation of the Light may spread further

Whatever descends from the Light as a radiation containing development always shows itself first in the initial point of departure

This happening concerns not only the forming of the material happening, but is contained also in everything that brings new knowledge

That knowledge which is the promised working of the Light within the framework of spiritual enlightenment

It holds true therefore that progress in spiritual enlightenment also is subject to this lawful development

Here too the conditions must be fulfilled for the forming of an initial point of anchorage

The primary point of departure need not thereby be in any way great

Indeed at the moment of its birth it may appear insignificant

Greatness at the beginning is not decisive

What is decisive is the kind of radiation, homogeneous with the Light, which may take hold and anchor itself in such a point, so that only afterwards it may gradually gain in strength and grow mighty

It may be said that in the great work of spiritual ascent through spiritual enlightenment in Subsequent Creation the Light always seeks first an anchorage, which through its readiness needs to be the mature starting core of a new beginning

This holds for the creating and the working of all kinds of radiation in the work of Creation

Always the starting core is first prepared, so that from it there may then unfold further the living wave of the inflowing Light, which pours over into the near and the distant surroundings

Whether it is called an anchorage, a focal point, a nucleus of condensation, an intersection of forces, a cell germ or the physical moment of the beginning of an action, always the same thing is being described only in other words, that which fulfils the great Law of Upbuilding, breathed in at the beginning by the creative thought of the Creator and working in the work of Creation for the gradual penetration of the radiation of the Light into the unsurveyable distances of the planes and worlds

In the spiritual sense a certain initial core of spiritual enlightenment can be every pure human spirit who through his ardent inner attunement enables the Light to form in his inner being the foundation for a further creative upbuilding here on earth

Thereby such a man makes himself able to become a spiritually active starting point for everything that belongs to the natural reach of his abilities

And in the case of the human spirit that is very much

It is truly a thousandfold more than men have hitherto supposed

Through every livingly open human spirit the strengthening forces of the Light can stream from the heights down to the earth and again back from the earth upwards as strong kinds of radiation, in which the strongest part is the spiritual kind of Light

It is the anchoring of a great cycle of forces

Within the reach of every such human spirit there can therefore be born a spiritually creative place

There can arise a core of spiritual activity for an ever stronger anchoring of a starting point and of hope here on earth

Anything of the kind is possible, however, solely through a strong and living connection with the Light

The man who longs to be connected with the Light should strive that in his inner being the brightness of the highest degree of spiritual connection with the harmony of the work of Creation may shine forth

Anything of the kind happens through an attunement to the streaming of the Holy Power of God

Those who have the knowledge of the great happening unfolding in Creation know that the highest inflow of the Holy Power of God is fulfilled at the time of the pouring of this Power into Creation at the Festivals of the Grail

We may therefore speak of the promise of a mighty connection of the human spirit with the Holy Power of God at the time of the Festivals of the Grail

Yet this connection may fulfil itself in a certain gradation at any time, whenever earthman

strives for an inner attunement to the streaming of the Holy Power of God

At any time there may come to man, in proportion to his purity and his childlike manner, the grace of receiving new power out of the Divine

Thereby such a man becomes here on earth a lasting anchorage for the Light, in which the blessing coming from the received power may dwell

In the active transforming of the received Power of God he may then gradually become for his other fellow men an active core bearing within it hope and a starting point for life on earth

Now is the time to speak of the forming of places for the anchoring of the Holy Power of God for its healing and refreshing working among men

Just as Peter's words, at the moment when as the first among the disciples he recognised in Jesus the Son of God, became a firm point for all the others who listened, who through this firm point could then take hold upon a new knowledge which until that time had on earth neither form nor content, so can it be also in the case of the anchoring of the knowledge of the Truth contained in the work of the Grail Message

To Peter's words Christ answered that this disciple, through the knowledge he had uttered, had formed a rock-firm point as a refuge of radiation upon which many seeking the way to Him would take hold

This also always took place, and takes place even today

Through Jesus Christ as the recognised Son of God men may, by means of the radiation contained therein, continually find a starting point for the holding fast of their spirit, so that it may be preserved until the time of the fulfilment of the Judgment of God

The condition in this is the simple childlikeness of accepting that Jesus was sent by God the Father into Creation to catch hold of all those who recognise Him and cleave to Him

And as it was with the recognition of the Divine origin of Jesus, so is it now to be also with the recognition of everything bound up with the Vessel of the Grail, which stands in the protection of Parzival at the highest place of the work of Creation

So likewise is it to be also in the matter of the Festivals of the Grail, which are vitally important for the coming culmination of the development of mankind on earth

Hitherto there is lacking the understanding of the significance and of the immense earnestness of all that is contained for mankind in the holy moment of the grace-filled uncovering of the Vessel by Parzival at the moment of the highest inflow of the Power of God

Therein lies refreshment for the spirit, strengthening for the soul and healing for the body

Precisely in order to make up for the delay in the hitherto ungrasped significance which lies in the inflow of the Power of God, much that is new is to be done, so that this may change here on earth

For the connection with this Power, for its right receiving, the human spiritual on earth is to become an anchorage, so that it may at the same time be a supporting point for further development

This is something so significant that it is a great wonder why it was not long ago recognised by inwardly receptive men

The answer, however, lies in this, that here as in everything else the greater part of the concentration of human striving was directed predominantly to outward material things, instead of the inner attunement being consistently given precedence as of first importance

Men occupied themselves with the outward matters surrounding the Word of the Grail Message, they occupied themselves with other men, with their faults and their weaknesses, so very much that they entirely forgot the condition which lies in their own attunement to the streaming of the radiation out of the Light

This condition is one's own inner active liveliness in the grasping of the lofty happenings in the work of Creation and above Creation

The human spirit can be raised up, and thereby prepared for the receiving of the Power of God, solely by his own growing luminous in attuning himself upwards

Inner attunement means in the case of earthman the complete experiencing of an ardent trust of the spirit, who opens himself purely to the connection with the Holy Power of God streaming into Creation

Through this attunement alone the starting point is formed for the anchoring of the great knowledge of the Grail and of the happening that fulfils itself in it in the sacred moments of the inflow of Power from God

Hitherto this point has been anchored by men only shallowly, for it lacked the childlike-pure simplicity of those who know of it

In it everything else connected with outward intellectual procedures was sought, and this so very intently that for their own growing in ardour men had neither time nor strength left

Therefore much of what should already have been here has hitherto not been fulfilled

At the moment when men with the knowledge of the Grail Message form within themselves in the right way the soil for the anchoring of the said starting point, everything will suddenly go forward far more swiftly

The forming of the point in the case of the spiritual kind is conditioned by a high degree of sacredly pure movement of the spirit that occupies itself with it in ardour

Therefore it holds that only that core which bears activity within it can be counted among those to which the blessed radiation out of the Light will flow

Today it is needful that hosts of such active cores arise out of suddenly awakened spirits, for it is a matter of the fulfilment of all the promises bringing the birth of the Kingdom of God on earth

This is something so great that it cannot be thought out with the intellect, but can be received only through the simple comprehension of the spirit

The intellect will never encompass all that is contained in it and that is to be fulfilled

The intellect will always come up against the existing outward world and through it will nourish mistrust in all supra-earthly fulfilments

Thereby the fundamental starting point of the so greatly needed spiritual enlightenment of men on earth is shaken, and thus laid only shallowly

In place of a rock-firm trust of the spirit there is found in the greatest part of men only an indefinite wistful wish, which is moreover shaken by the mistrust proceeding from their accustomed manner of material thinking

The spirit is therefore to be left free in this, so that of itself it may livingly strive to find, through experiencing, the initial point of trust in the happening which is now fulfilling itself

Men who strive in this way are also to meet together, so as mutually to support one another in attuning themselves to the Power of God

In the highest activity of their spirits they are to draw near to the high values of the Grail

Out of their capacities there will also gradually be formed, in many places, the life-fanning beacon fires of spiritual enlightenment, from which a new manner of experiencing life on earth, filled with a spiritually clarified glorifying of God, will then be able to spread further in many directions

As a counterweight to the confusion and the chaos growing in many places of the world, it is to be precisely those who will join together in order to form jointly "Centres of spiritual enlightenment", in which trust, hope and harmony resting upon the knowledge of the Truth will be strengthened

That is the manner of life for which a great number of men long subconsciously deep within their inner being

Much of what has been neglected in this must now be attained through a pure and joyful connection with the Light
