Whoever claims to know the future path of mankind and at the same time lays insufficient weight upon the working of the effects of the Laws of Creation, which through the nearness of the Ray of Parzival now assert themselves ever more strongly among men, is a liar and a false leader belonging to that past which counts as rejected by the Light

The world of men upon earth will be entirely different from what many men still today suppose in their expectation of the approaching events

In the first place there will come into effect in the coming time a manifesting of the Laws of Creation many times stronger, which will demand of every single inhabitant of the earth the proof that he recognises his responsibility in the sense of all that belongs to a pure human existence in the work of Creation

And together with this strengthening of the effects of the Laws of Creation there will of necessity come a change of all the rules hitherto established by men upon earth

One of these rules is the use of the value of money as a means for maintaining the cycle of giving and taking among men

This means of maintaining the cycle of giving and taking is, however, from the very beginning a creation of the material thinking of men fettered by the intellect, and thereby its fate is so determined that in the approaching transformation of all that has been hitherto it must be recognised as a means unworthy of the human spirit and will be gradually laid aside by men, so that it may be replaced by an expression for giving and taking standing nearer to the Light

This expression is the manifestation of the fervent thanks of man

Hitherto no one has been able to picture that such a thing would be possible

Whenever men did occupy themselves with it in their reflections, they always proceeded from the assumption that even in the time to come the cunning of the many would remain present among men, who would quickly abuse any purer and more trusting dealing to their own advantage

Therefore no one has hitherto been quite able to picture that such a thing as a world without money could exist upon earth at all without its causing difficulties through abuse

No one has been able to picture that men, when they create something, would simply give their work to other men who need it

Even today they cannot at all picture that Justice would be preserved in it, because there at once presents itself to them the picture of the abuse of such a way precisely by all the men who are shrewd in the intellect

Many also fear that everyone would at once have to lose the property and wealth which they themselves or their family forebears had laboriously amassed

And of course there is at once the strong thought that it would necessarily cause the stopping of all the hitherto existing streams of giving and taking among men

That no one among men would be the first to consent to such a thing, for everyone thinks that others should be the first to begin with such a matter

Therefore men move around such prospects as a world without money permanently in fear, until these thoughts have almost entirely faded away

Many otherwise educated and thoughtful men shyly circle around these prospects for the future of mankind, in fear that such a thing must bring the collapse of the relations among men, and thereby call forth discord, strife and misery

Not one of these things, however, will come about if man stands rightly in his life and with his honest striving pursues a high spiritual goal

Alas, precisely this, however, is far removed from all the striving of men hitherto

Therefore there are at once so many opinions about the impossibility of such a thing as a world without money

Yet it is a reality which now approaches this earth in order to bring liberation to all those men who have matured for such a thing, and for whom it will therefore be no obstacle to fit themselves into it

In God's working there is now set for the whole Subsequent Creation a way which will bring the life of human spirits onto tracks beneficially furthering them, and thereby enable them to mature at an accelerated pace in their true mission, which was predestined for them for this world of matter here

It is no hindrance at all in this that men living in the present time are for the greatest part still unable to picture such a thing

The fault in the fact that men today cannot picture such a thing does not lie on the side of God's continually flowing development, but is a part of the failure to grasp the work of Creation, through the badly distorted angle of vision of the present men upon earth

It is a sad result, a part of the whole mental attitude of one portion of Creation which in the total proportion is in reality only a tiny place, one that is completing the developmental period of the hitherto mistaken direction of an insignificant earthly mankind

What needs to change now is therefore the direction of the development of the humanly spiritual kind in its new adjustment here upon earth, not the work of Creation

This has also been happening for a certain time already, and therefore even now, in its opening part, it will call forth great surprise in many men

Therefore there are, among other things, so many pressures and counter-pressures in the volition of individuals and of nations, because there is a growing struggle to gain influence at the very last moment, when the ground is already trembling beneath the feet of all men

All this, however, is only the return of the human race upon earth, filled with bitter humiliation, out of the long and agonising detour upon which it set out partly under the influence of the Luciferian principle of temptation and partly on account of its own inward lukewarmness

Now there dawns the period of the return of this earthly world of men into a whole swinging in accord with the totality of the work of Creation

And in all this there is contained, among other things, also the great archetype of a new world, in which the true value for the expression of compensation will in the first place be the pure and fervent thanks of man for the gifts granted to him which he needs for his life

The Law of giving and taking works continually throughout the whole work of Creation

It is in reality the mighty pressure which forms the driving power in everything that lives and moves

Every movement calls forth necessary consequences

And with this awareness everyone therefore needs to learn to move rightly, so that the forces hidden in the Law of giving and taking may work for him in the purest and thus also the most right way

The Law of giving and taking is the invisible driving power also among men in their life here upon earth

For mankind the quickening form of the mutual exchange of spiritual abilities and gifts, which rests in giving and taking, is the ennobled form of all the animistic struggle in nature

At the same time this exchange is here in the materialities a gift for mankind, so that through it they may find a reason for movement

Above all, however, it is to be a spiritual movement, which at once awakens and strengthens the conscience within man as the bridge here for the intuitive sensing of what is or is not right for the maintaining of harmony among men

Men have in part rightly observed that this law bears within it the necessity of compensation, and thereby they also intuitively sense the effect of justice contained in it

Owing to this they grasp that wherever there is to be balance and thereby also harmony, the compensation in giving and taking needs to be fulfilled

It is in fact quite simple, like everything else in the work of Creation

A man who is inwardly healthy senses it without having to reflect upon it elaborately

It is a simple grasp of life and it would at once bring men the answers to all their questions, if only… if only men here on earth did not try, in the use of their intellect, to outwit the effects of the Laws of Creation

In this lies, among other things, also the answer to where the beginning lies of the present necessary collapse of all the affairs among men which rest upon the cycle by means of money

With lifeless money gradually becoming merely a dim reflection for the fulfilling of the great Law of giving and taking, in that moment there began the necessary development which now, in the coming time, will bring the collapse of the whole existing social order

This is because the world of money, instead of being only a subsequent expression of value in the Law of giving and taking in the world of materialities, quickly became for all compensation among men the primary determiner of what has and what has not value in the world

The essence of the original refreshing effect of the Law of giving and taking was thereby turned about and formed a caricature, in which all social life upon earth is governed by the fact that men strive for giving and taking not for the sake of mutual bestowal, and thus for the maintaining of a healthy cycle of forces, but solely and only for the gain of money, in the amassing of which they seek a source of power over others

Nothing dead, such as money or even precious metals like gold, or other things prized by men, can ever rightly reflect within itself the worth of man and his true spiritual value in the work of Creation, as is the case precisely and only with fervent thanks as the primary value bestowed in the cycle of giving and taking

Thereby everything became entirely disordered, and today mankind reaps only the final fruit of all the distortion in the Law of giving and taking, in that things which from the standpoint of the human spirit are more or less worthless are valued far higher than all that truly furthers the human spirit

There is no need to name even one of these distortions, for soon they will all fall in any case

And out of the way in which this fall of the world of money, gradual and yet inescapable, will come about, there will out of it all again be raised outwardly, like the most precious means of payment, the value of the fervent thanks of the human spirit

Only in the fully valuable and fervent experiencing of thanks can there return to men the grasp of the essence of the beneficial effect of the cycle of husbandry with the forces streaming through the work of Creation

Fervent thanks are therefore in their essence the most precious means of payment among men

This holds good today, just as it held good at any time before, and all the more in the coming time, which will again bring it the right appreciation

Yet today an almost negligible worth is attached by men to fervent thanks that are truly experienced

If money is not given at the same time, then thanks have almost no value for the man who provides some product or service

Therefore we may without hesitation call today's social world wholly distorted

That which was to have been tended by men in the awareness of its value as a gift from the treasury of the spirit has become something overlooked, indeed in many cases derided, if money is not given at the same time

Although nothing can arise without the gift of God's Power, not even here upon earth, so that not even the world of men could bring any value into realisation without the help of the gift of God's Power, yet men deride the one value which God as the giver expects from them for it all in His Laws

The husbandry with God's Power is the condition for the healthy course of the whole work of Creation

And earthman is bound by it exactly as is every other creature

He has his share of participation in it through the spiritual abilities which are a part of the spiritual spark that he carries within him

Fervent thanks, as a value compensating in equal measure in every place upon earth, are given by the very nature of the humanly spiritual kind

They can nowhere be higher or lower, but are always the same value, which is to be esteemed with the highest degree of the human grasp of the concept of worth

There is here on earth no higher means of payment than the fervent thanks of a man who has received some thing which he needs for his dignified life upon this earth

These fervent thanks cannot be hoarded, but must be given by man again and ever again, as an expression of the genuineness of his grasp of the counter-value towards anything that he receives

Fervent thanks need to be ready in full value for everything that man receives

They cannot be exchanged otherwise than by means of a genuineness truly experienced

The vibration contained in the simple fervent thanks of man is thus an expression of value which will link this earth again with all the higher planes in the work of Creation, for nowhere else is it otherwise

Here, however, there are several pitfalls in the way of this being rightly recognised by men already today and also rightly applied in the necessary cycle of giving and taking

The first pitfall, which today is a great obstacle for men in fitting themselves into the cycle of giving and taking, is the failure to grasp that condition of harmony found in the work of Creation, that in the first place the volition to give is to flame within man

It is more blessed to give than to take

This men have yet to grasp rightly, because the growth of the human spirit to full maturity and dignity rests precisely in the experiences with the fulfilling of this condition of life in Creation

These experiences, so important for the spirit, need to be inwardly recognised and lived through in many most varied forms

Only in this can he then also grasp how, precisely for a gift bestowed, something like simple fervent thanks can serve as compensation

When men grasp these delicate happenings, which are connected with the spiritual happenings among men themselves, then it will very quickly become the customary means for the fulfilling of the Law of the necessary compensation in giving and taking

In the animistic it is not in the least otherwise

The great harmony resting in everything is the manifestation of what in the animistic we may call the highest genuineness of the giving of oneself in the given moment of the present

The animistic lives in full value at every moment, and thus precisely the vibration and the radiation issuing out of this genuineness is a natural part of the true compensating between giving and taking

The animistic in nature confirms the value of its genuineness by its very being, by its life

That is the genuineness beside which the sly human world hitherto must always have appeared as an insipid mirroring of all the animistic life

In the case of the humanly spiritual the expression of genuineness is a pure fervour held living within oneself

Fervent thanks, manifested in the highest sincerity at the moment when man receives a gift, are from the standpoint of the Laws of Creation an immeasurably precious means of payment

Here, however, everyone must be warned who looks upon fervour as something that can be replaced by an intellectual expression of thanks

Such a thing cannot hold good, for in it the cunning of men would very quickly begin to work

This, however, the Laws of Creation will in future no longer permit

In future fervour will be expressed not only in the moment of receiving some thing as a gift, but above all in the way such a thing is dealt with thereafter

It will therefore be not only a flash of thanks in the moment when man receives something which from his point of view he needs, but it will necessarily be bound up with how he continues to value such a thing throughout the whole time when, on the basis of his thanks, it may perhaps also be given into his stewardship here upon earth

Fervent thanks will further be demanded by the Laws of Creation as a requirement in which man will have to prove a real need through the use of the thing bestowed

And such a thing will always sooner or later show itself with certainty

It will surely manifest itself already in how the thing is turned to account, how it is cared for, and also how and what it actually serves

In all this the expression of the original fervour of thanks will of necessity have to mirror itself continually

It is therefore something entirely different, going far beyond the present ways of men upon earth which are shaped by the current use of money

All this will change precisely as man will suddenly be able, entirely freely, to ask his fellow men for the gift of this or that thing of which he is convinced that he needs it for his prospering life here upon earth

Not everything, however, that men think they need must be granted

Often it is precisely the reverse

Therefore it will also hold good that when a man asks for something he may be refused, if the giver is not convinced that the request is accompanied by a sufficiently intuitively sensed fervour and also by a sufficiently conscious responsibility in the matter of the further use of the gift

And if something is not given to a man, then he will have no claim to demand it, for already in his demanding something by insistence, or even by force, there would be mirrored in his volition the insufficiency of the necessary grasp of the harmony which is the essence of the Law of giving and taking

At the same time, however, the giver too will be subjected to the same working power of the Law of giving and taking, as to whether with his refusal he is truly a wise fulfiller of the cycle of forces in Creation

Therefore it will be required that the ability of intuitive perception be always maintained in the highest liveliness, for thereby men will be able continually to strengthen themselves in recognising how the pure working of the human spirit is to look in the work of Creation

That which today it is still possible to replace with money gained in the most varied ways, dishonest ones included, will be set aside precisely by the requirement of genuineness in everything, and, in the bestowing of gifts, above all of the participation of the vibrations of true fervent thanks

In this sincerity and straightforwardness in all dealings among men will always have the highest share

And also the necessary severity, if it cannot be otherwise, so that it may be recognised that a bestowal is always conditioned by complete accord between both participants, that is, between the giver and the one who receives

Harmony among men has many forms, and therefore, in the use of the new participation in values, it will be needful for men to move on from today's dissimulation and deceit to genuineness and purity among one another

Very quickly, however, men will gradually find in the new manner of giving and taking above all the blessing and the kindliness which will bring to it all an uplifting joy such as has never yet been here upon earth for long enough and also in sufficient measure for men to be able rightly to recognise its beneficence

If men truly will it, then everyone will quickly find that harmony of living together here upon earth which has hitherto been so greatly sought

This harmony rests, together with man's striving towards a high spiritual goal, precisely also in the healthy keeping of the Law of giving and taking in all relations between men

The supra-earthly strengthening which is now contained in the growing presence of the Light in the universe will work as the best teacher for everyone who wishes to learn to grasp the Law of giving and taking and also to fulfil it rightly in his life

Everyone, if he will it, will quickly recognise where his duty lies and where his right, so that he for his own part may stand in accord with this law, if he seeks ways of applying it in a life without the presence of money

It is not at all so difficult

It is indeed one of the natural qualities of man, which everyone needs only to free again within himself out of the mental dungeon of the tormenting experiences of a world in which money precisely does not reflect at all the harmony with the Law of giving and taking

All men can make this new knowledge their own, for they carry it within them from the places above the materialities

Giving is more than taking

That is the essence which prevails everywhere in all the planes that swing in accord with the great harmony of the work of Creation

And today too everyone has something out of which he can give to others, in order to bestow upon them, should they wish it

The foundation out of which man is able to give is the understanding of others, it is the bestowing of a smile where there is sadness, the support of a gentle word or of praise

There is much else besides in which the immense value of the way to a better world lies hidden

And from the less material gifts it goes further, and everyone can give out of his abundance so that the world may brighten through his kindliness towards everyone who wishes to join in the shaping of a better life here upon earth

Nor is the omnipresence of man's fervent thanks, wherever he receives a gift, ever to be forgotten

Fervent thanks are the fundamental means of payment which will soon show itself as the way out of all the crises and distresses that approach the earth in order to cleanse everything wrong that has arisen out of the cunning of the human intellect

It rests with every single man on which side he wishes to stand when the Creator demands the rendering of accounts for the husbandry with something so precious as fervent thanks
