A Map For the World That Will Soon Come

In the threads of events stretching over the Earth, man can read just as he does on the maps of the earthly world

We can follow everything that, through its anchoring in the threads, is predestined for the further path of development

In the threads everything is always set and prepared in advance, to be realized in fine images

Only the time of fulfilment remains a living, that is, a mobile process, which adapts itself to the conditional maturity that co-determines the fulfilment of events in gross matter

Mobile, then, is only the moment at which the gross material realization occurs

The threads themselves, however, contain through the images a complete description of the way, just like an earthly map

And just as with an earthly journey it always depends on man alone how fast he advances and how he proceeds from one point on the map to the next, so also for the gross material fulfilment of all the prepared threads the deciding factor is how fast the events needed for it move forward in the earthly world

It is thus the same as when we find the individual details, the larger units, and finally even the greatest expanses of land and water that exist in the earthly world, drawn into the maps

It is exactly the same with the threads out of which the earthly foundations of all events are formed

Man can move forward according to the prototype on the map

The threads of spiritual kind, however, we must see as branching out much further into all planes, thus also into the planes of supra-earthly kind

They stretch into the far distances and show the greatness and diversity of the paths of development unfolding in the wide interconnections of the Subsequent Creation

The whole happening even requires that what is contained in them should first mature in finer places before it can enter the earthly world

Only then can it condense into material form

And just as it is with earthly paths, which are usually marked so that those who seek ways of getting from one place to another may know what to expect on the way, so in the threads of the great happening in the Subsequent Creation we can behold possible directions of development

Therefore it is very beneficial today, in expectation of what is approaching, to know at least in part all that is contained in the map that brings the further development on Earth

First of all, then, it is fitting to speak of everything connected with it, so that the foundation of a mental picture may be formed

That is natural, for people striving towards some goal under earthly conditions also need to know, with the help of a map, everything that awaits them on their way

Having a map, they can know in advance the country through which they will one day have to travel in order to reach their goal

The threads of the world-wide spiritual happening are exactly the same signposts

They form, however, the depiction of another, much greater space than is usual for the maps we know, for earthly maps are meant only for this one small planet in the universe

The threads reach high into the heights of the Light, just as they offer clear outlooks leading into the depths of hopelessness

From there they then run back to the places from which they can pass over into gross matter as materialized events on Earth

Rightly it should bear the name “Map of the Paths of Development of the Whole Subsequent Creation”

The Subsequent Creation is an unimaginably vast space destined for the development of human spirits, of whom there are exceedingly great hosts

From the beginning it was granted, in its individual parts, a far longer time of preparation and ripening than man can imagine

Indeed, this cannot easily be pictured, for within it unfold the destinies of an endless stream of spirit-sparks, which constantly plunge down into the whole of the Subsequent Creation, so that after a certain time of their ripening a part of them may soar up again into the worlds of the spiritual home

Spiritual seeds are carried down into the worlds of matter in order to germinate, to grow towards their ripeness, and finally to bring forth the fruits of their paths of development

And of these threads there also consists, in some places of the outermost extensions, the substance out of which the weavers of fate can also form the actual earthly events

In the threads, which a brightened eye is able to behold, there lies a picture that may, by way of likeness, be called a map

On this map it is always shown where the direction of development leads further, and thus everything is depicted on it that will one day come as the realization of mankind's earlier volition

Earthly time measurement must not be taken here as the most important quantity

This is because, in the weaving of the threads according to the outlooks of the map, things are ordered by importance differently from the way people in their earthly bodies mostly perceive it

The direction followed is always the one bearing within it the strongest kind of human volition, into which the overarching All-Wisdom of God reaches

This All-Wisdom is woven into all development with quite different intermediate stages of goals, which have a different importance from what people expect

In this there is always contained an opportunity for instruction, working in every respect, in the experiencing of the human spirits incarnated on Earth

Thus earthly time also has to subordinate itself to the stages that are an inseparable part of the development in material events

That is to say, certain parts of the development always last for a certain time and have their unrepeatable kind of fulfilment for those who incarnate on Earth at that period

Each period of development thus lasts only as long as it can offer the majority of people something of the experiencing that the incarnated individuals in some way need to live through fully, in order to move further in their understanding

Briefly said, the weavers of the threads take into account a different course from what would be demanded by the understanding adopted by people who long to be better off as quickly as possible, and to have everything radiate only love and understanding towards them

Nothing of the development that is immeasurably important for the human spirit comes about otherwise than by man living through it in some way in a body on Earth, if he needs it

At the same time, endless hosts of souls in the world beyond remain spared from it, if through their inner state they deserve better conditions than prevail on Earth at that time

When something of the past has then been sufficiently lived through, and further progress of development may thereby take place, then precisely those souls incarnate who again need the experiencing of an improvement of conditions on Earth; in this lies for them the encouragement granted to them as the fruit of their earlier wishes and volition, out of which the weaving of new threads of development could arise through the hands of the weavers

With this it is answered, among other things, why certain sections of history had to pass through particular events which arrived on Earth and for some time held mankind in the experiencing bound up with them

To this belong also all the hardships and sufferings of the nations, wars, failed harvests, famines, diseases and much more that again and again oppressed mankind for a certain time, whenever enough homogeneous threads had previously accumulated among the greater part of the mankind of that day

None of this arose of itself, but always had its basis in the prevailing kind of radiation present in the threads of the weavers of fate

For a great part of the people there always lay in this the possibility of living through it, and thereby of laying aside their own earlier faults

And had people always conducted themselves rightly amid all the returning effects, with intuitive perception and humanity, then even in the worst times of the laying aside of past transgressions a great abundance of helps could have been contained, in which opportunities would have been found for the ascent of individuals as well as of the whole of mankind

So it always was on Earth, and the threads left people at every moment the possibility of free choice as to the way in which they would experience all that came towards them

Thus the development on Earth proceeded for a long time, up to the moment when the Ray of the Will of God in Parzival drew near to these parts of the worlds

The Ray of Parzival brought into these distant spheres quite fundamental changes, which will show themselves

In this universe it happened about a hundred earthly years ago, and everything that has followed since bears within it the development of the forming of the threads whose goal is the earthly manifestation of the changes brought by Parzival

And the time is already near when a new part of development will assert itself on the earthly plane, bringing in many respects fundamental differences of life compared with earlier times on Earth

For many people, however, this outlook remains ungraspable, for they direct their attention only to everything material

The volition of people determines its own direction of development, and out of it arises a map that foretells what further events on Earth will proceed from it

If we look attentively at the present setting of the development of earthly mankind, we can see two directions lying side by side, contained in the threads of further development

There is the development determined on the basis of threads woven from the recent and present volition of mankind

But simultaneously with this development there is now above the Earth a development predetermined by the Will of God

If the human direction continued along similar paths, as it did through all the past centuries and millennia, it would again require further thousands of years to create the conditions for the manifold experiences that would in every respect be of benefit to a great part of the souls

But at the same time there is the new direction mentioned, determined by the mighty power of the Ray of Parzival

The Ray of Parzival has brought a direction of development in which a great advance in the spiritual maturity of men is prepared

In it lies an increased pressure to make up for the backwardness of spiritual development

It is a spiritual progress such as has never before taken place here on Earth to such a degree

In it is contained the promise of a great spiritual enlightenment

The Ray of Parzival bears within it the might for the fulfilment of that direction, which will indeed also come

At this moment, then, we have two maps here

They lie side by side and are of completely different kinds

The first is a map that arises out of human volition and is by its nature close to human understanding

The second is a map prepared out of the Wisdom of God, determining the further development of the world part to which this universe, and thus also the planet Earth, belongs

For the human way of thinking, the recognition and acceptance of the way contained in this map is much more distant

People, then, who ponder all that the future will bring, and who look into the future in the old way, that is, according to the map woven from their volition, thus expect a map they have known until now as the direction of the human world proved over millennia

They are able to accept only what comes on the basis of this world, for their earthly as well as psychic experiences confirm it to them thus

Everything else lies beyond their power of comprehension, and they therefore consider it an impossible development

They prove thereby that they are insufficiently prepared to see the approaching future world with new eyes – their accustomed way of seeing has long since become self-evident to them, and all livingness has gone out of it

In this, however, lies the need for a great inner step forward

It can be said that precisely that map which today lies before people's eyes, offering itself with all its interconnections with the human destinies of earlier times, will not be fulfilled

On the contrary, a development will come in which lies the necessary progress of mankind in its knowledge and consciousness

That development will come which bears within it the fulfilment of God's All-Wisdom

It is something that has never yet been experienced here by human spirits to so great a degree

Man's inner being may sense, with greater or lesser certainty, that already today great visible changes are taking place in all parts of the earthly world

Changes are taking place that are tangible and clearly observable in the earthly world

At the same time, however, the changes taking place in the planes of finer substance than this earthly world are being fulfilled many times faster

The astral prototype of everything that is part of the earthly world is transforming itself with unbelievable speed

These changes will therefore come also upon this gross material world, without human volition being able to stop or deflect any of it

Although these great transformations are still in progress, and many more are yet to come, there is at the same time contained in them everything needful from the threads of the whole of mankind

Into them is woven the necessary happening for the further development of all the human spirits who are at present on Earth

For each human being, then, his own path of ascent is contained in it

Every human being may find his new place

He too can take part in the changes towards the new, whatever the differing degree of maturity on which he now stands

This is made possible for him, provided he himself strives for it with the most fervent volition of his inner being

The Love of God reaches him a helping hand through the helps that bow down to the Earth at this time

Man, however, needs to take hold of this help entirely, with all the will of pure volition, for otherwise he will not hold his ground and will be drawn into the ferment that precedes the beginning of the new part of development

At the very foundation nothing else is demanded than a childlike simple, pure opening of the will to want, under all circumstances, the all-embracing good

No one among men need fear not knowing the way when all this comes in full force upon the Earth

He needs only to bear within himself purity and trust in that new map, woven from the heights, which describes the direction of development called forth by the immediate nearness of the Ray of Parzival above this universe

The rebirth of the world rests on the application of the new map, in which are contained also the possible ways of all the individual people who are on Earth at just this time

It rests with man alone whether he grasps the possibility offered to him in it, or whether, in distrust and rejection, he lets pass by him the opportunities that showed him the direction, so that he might prepare himself for the coming time of spiritual enlightenment

If he does not hesitate, his own path, woven from the threads of fate, can be woven into the whole of events, in which it will be made possible for him to lay aside, in an accelerated and in many cases also symbolic way, everything from the past that would burden and hold him back, so that with his inner being he may unite with the radiance of the new conditions of life on Earth

The striving for change lies in the hands of every human being who feels in his inner being the longing for a different world, in the sense of an all-embracing improvement of the conditions of life

To this he now needs to add trust out of himself, and thus ever more surely set the direction towards taking part in the new that is coming

In no case should he cloud his sight by running back and forth from the outlook of one map to the other

His anchoring should lie in the trustful following of that map alone which brings the change formed out of God's All-Wisdom

The existing world, which seemingly still runs along the old tracks, would in its present setting bring no spiritual progress even in further thousands of years

People would sink in it again and again in their incarnations, in which they would indeed partly lay aside their past faults through the experiencing of difficulties, but at the same time, in the continuing lukewarmness of life, would tie new threads out of new missteps

Thereby everything would only exhaust itself, and the whole universe would sink ever deeper in the recurring waves of better and worse times of mankind on Earth

The happening that is coming brings a map with new, far nobler outlooks than the course of the development of the human world on Earth has offered until now

It brings an enlightenment in which lies all the knowledge of the true meaning of human existence in Creation

It brings also the joining with all the other parts of the Work of Creation

Thereby it brings great refreshment for all the souls that hope for the possibility of returning to this Earth under better conditions than those which have prevailed until now and still prevail

In this lies for these souls the possibility of completely closing their cycle of ripening and of freeing themselves from the last small remnants of the threads of fate

The spiritual enlightenment will flow into all areas of human life on Earth

Thereby it will create the conditions for the closing of the wound caused by the wrong use of the holy spear in the hand of the fallen archangel

All this is written in the map that shows in advance the development of world events under the inflowing power of the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

Much of what belongs to the outlooks of this map could be described in detail, just as it will come

But for that the right time is yet to come

Outlooks will be shown which, if even partly unveiled today, would meet among people, in their old way of thinking, only with incomprehension and disagreement

Often even mockery, which is immediately at hand with people wherever they themselves do not understand the closer connections

However much they thereby prove their severance from real being, in their present predominance in association with other people they think they have a right to critical haughtiness and mockery in those things which entirely escape them in their limited rigidity of thinking

Wherever there is narrowness of thinking among people, there, on meeting anything new, we find only mockery or aggressive malice

But precisely this will gradually pass away in the coming events

Therefore only then will the time come when it will be possible to speak also of the development of events for all continents, countries and nations

Also of all the changes in people's lives, until the attitude has gradually changed completely towards everything that, in the order existing until now, has most splintered the forces and weakened the courage to go through life independently and freely. Precisely in this the coming time will differ from present-day society

With this, all the existing communities in the human world will also come to an end

The endeavours that seek advantage in the enforcement of power and strength of some over others will flow away

All untrue conceptions of God and divinity will spend themselves and pass away

The sects, religions and churches nourished until now by human immaturity, founded on calculation or on a harmful kind of belief leading to fanaticism, will dry up into oblivion

At the same time, however, everything that purely turns to the knowledge of the Laws of Creation, and has the volition to apply them in pure endeavour in its own life, will find support and strengthening in brightened experiences of which people today have no inkling

All this is brought by the map for the world that will soon come

It can already be read today

For it contains only what is by nature pure and clear

People with open receptivity may already at this time see in it the direction that will bring an improvement of all the conditions of life on Earth

It is only needful to keep one's gaze turned towards the map that is formed by God's All-Wisdom

People cannot join the two maps mentioned together and try to form out of them their own picture of the future world

Only unclarity would arise from it for them, and they would quickly lose trust in the possibility of the coming of a great spiritual enlightenment

That map formed out of human volition would quickly pull them down again into distrust and hopelessness

The outlook upon a world that was to continue in the present direction would quickly bring unrest and bitterness

In the volition of thought, everything purely formed would then weaken that is born in man out of trust in God's All-Wisdom

Thereby the original good direction already gained would also be lost, and a straying would follow in the mists of confusion and baseness

A high spiritual goal needs to be constantly tended by man and enlivened by a pure and joyful attunement to the all-embracing volition for good

Precisely in this the knowledge of the map draws near, for a world that in the astral prototype of the Earth is already almost completed in its forming
