Many people who strive for changes in their life imagine that such a thing as inner spiritual transformation always needs much time, that a change to a new way of living must therefore take place over the course of long years, of decades, or longer still, thus over an entire lifetime
They suppose that it is first of all always a matter of a lifelong dedication to some extraordinary manner of existence, either in solitude or in asceticism, or at the very least that the change consists in a severe rejection of the life led hitherto
The reason which leads them to such reflections they see in the realisation that before them lies the necessity of laying aside a multitude of their faults and shortcomings
They see the array of their habits and their inclinations towards various weaknesses, they also perceive their needs for enjoyments, which in their view they will first have to lay aside with much effort and change within themselves, before the helping streams out of the Light join their path so that good and happiness may also appear in their life
Thus has it been established for centuries and millennia in connection with the human struggle for a change to the better
So do the most varied religious teachings and philosophical writings expound it, and so speak many seemingly spiritually advanced people out of their own experiences
And so, before those who have begun to occupy themselves with their own transformation, there appears for the most part only the picture of a great overcoming, a struggle with one's own faults, and also a never-ending awareness of one's own insufficiency, so that a fearful humility may thereby be maintained, of which it is said that before God it is held to be especially precious
These conceptions and pictures of a toilsome and arduous path in the spiritual transformation of man are gravely distorted through the influence of the darkness itself
They make the human inner being unfree and force it into the forming of a tormented and warped soul covering, which in the finer worlds then not seldom requires much help so that the spirit may free itself from it when it departs from this world
The true Love of God asks nothing of the sort from the human spirit
They are only barriers of thought which, moreover, are for the most part futile for any progress, for in all of this the most important thing is lacking, which is the inner awakening of the spirit in its longing-filled striving towards the Light
However much that change in the laying aside of faults and weaknesses must truly come about in man, yet before all that follows there must first come the full awakening within, with the striving for an all-embracing volition for the good and the pure, which already beforehand prepares the way through its radiation into the threads of fate
Only in this inner disposition of a joyful entering upon the new path towards the Light are contained the many helps which will come, so that so many burdens as may still lie upon the soul may in the end be laid aside in joy and lightness, and not in an endless struggle without result
But even today these helps are not yet spoken of, because all that takes place in the threads of fate, which are woven by the animistic servants in the moment when the human spirit truly awakens inwardly to good volition, is not recognised
In particular it is also today hardly known at all how the approaching happening out of the Light already manifests itself therein
Therefore many people reject the thought of a change within their inner being and doubt the great significance of all that will come about if they transform themselves and become, within, purely living only by that which is good, refreshing, joyful and creating harmony
In their ignorance they often mock it as the naivety of idealists
Ignorance of these matters maintains in men a mistrust towards accepting the victorious path of the spirit, out of whose radiation of good the new unfolding of his fate is at once woven for man
Ignorance, mistrust and also superficiality of thought are what hinder the beneficent inner change towards a spiritual awakening, which is nevertheless attainable for every human being on Earth
Knowledge of the happenings which reach into the further unfolding of human life is today something entirely unknown
Often it is also just this which in the end leads many people of today to reject the inner transformation, in the belief that before them lies a long and painful period before their transformation begins to be recognisable, before many things in their life are set in motion, and that above all in the direction of the better
But today it is not so
Such a thing held good in earlier times, when the pall of the darkness prevailed over this earth and its working checked many a volition in the thoughts of men in their inward advance
Yes, so it was for a long time
Even until recently it was so, that people striving for spiritual progress were brought up by their leaders and teachers to prepare themselves inwardly for a long and painfully arduous struggle for their better being, for, according to the experiences of those who walked ahead, this was continually exposed to the ill counter-pressures of the world of thought and also in part of the ethereal world
Yes, indeed so it also still was on Earth a few decades ago
The darkness, which through many influences ruled the earthly world, laid in the way of every awakening human spirit many a snare or obstacle, and by asserting distorted conceptions upon the path towards the Light it repeatedly forced him into error, for the spirit's own power was drawn aside into trifles instead of being directed towards the essence of the true change, which lies in the complete becoming luminous of the inner being
The darkness caused many hardships to people striving towards the Light, and this both through other people and often in the man himself, precisely also through the adopted dogmas of thought that a spiritual awakening and a stepping forth towards the Light is something hard and toilsome
All these, however, are only misunderstood dogmas which for far too long a time spread themselves over the whole Earth like a heavy pall
Now, however, it is already otherwise
The stifling gloom is scattered, and of the former malevolent hosts of ill souls there remain around the Earth only shattered remnants, which moreover withstand the influx of the Light with the last of their strength
The Light brings a change in the disposition of the being of mankind hitherto
Everything stands under a greater effect of the streams of the Light, and therefore human striving for change is now also strengthened by an influx of an entirely new kind of blessed powers than was the case centuries ago, indeed even decades ago
Now it is different, more direct, and pointing towards the prospects of more penetrating transformations
He who considers his transformation for the better should therefore no longer hesitate even for a moment
Nothing stands in his way today save perhaps only his own still-persisting mistrust and hesitation towards that which is to come
Only the nurturing of mistrust within man himself can still be an undermining power which in thoughts rejects the possibility of ascent
In many people it is also caused by an insufficient understanding of how the Laws of Creation actually work in the life of men
Often, therefore, it is only an inner barrier set up in man as an ingrained disposition of thought that there still holds good the condition which existed before the nearness of the Ray of Parzival above the Earth grew stronger
The Light, however, has already drawn so near that now, through its direct nearness, it prepares the way for every earnest volition many times more strongly in the helpful unfolding of the newly woven threads out of the awakened all-embracing volition for good
The help is a thousandfold strengthened for every earnest volition in man to become good, inwardly awakened in his spiritual inner being
Everything is strengthened so markedly that it can even be said with certainty that in its basic degree the transformation in the life of man can take place within a few earthly months
The spirit in whom, as a condition, a whole and genuine longing for the Light is aflame is surrounded by unprecedented helps, and if in his wavering he does not close himself to them again, these bring at once into the threads of his fate a movement which can gradually begin to bring liberation from some long-standing unworthy life-task in which he has found himself until now
In accelerated measure the human spirit can become truly free and enter upon the path of a new being in the work of Creation
All this the Light now brings to men, if only they themselves will it so, if out of themselves they add to it the courageous decision to set out wholly upon the new path of a pure humanity
Where such soil consciously flares up in the inner being of man, there happenings often almost miraculous now take place at once in all the threads of his fate
A hundred days of pure striving in holding the all-embracing good within the inner being will bring unprecedented effects
Only a hundred days does earthly man need in the present time for the confirming experience that the good he has laid into Creation begins to return to him through the working Laws of Creation, so as to bring him by its effect a new and clearly observable beginning of life
We may therefore say quite simply that a mere hundred days under the influence of the present nearness of the Ray of Parzival above the Earth suffices for man, given a genuine inner attunement of his inner being to the all-embracing volition for good, to reach the first returning threads which bring him the confirmation that the Laws of God work for him in the sense of all the helps of the Loving-Kindness of God
A hundred days, which is a trifling particle of life, now suffices to convince everyone who bears the all-embracing good in his attunement that this truly repays itself and that the blessing of God works for him if he has fully laid his powers into it and has become in his inner being an enduring holder of harmony and kindly good
These happenings, however, are conditioned by the already mentioned genuine and courageous decision to enter upon this transformation in the purest genuineness within oneself
It is therefore not to be a step which proceeds only from a lukewarm volition to “give it a try”, a volition whose starting point is curiosity or a temporary yielding to another's urging, as is often the custom today when news of something new comes to a man
Here it is a matter of something far greater, which holds within it a high value in the sense of the all-embracing being of man
It cannot be compared with other superficial interests of men, or with strivings which concern only pastimes and endeavours of an earthly kind of self-assertion
It is no modern philosophical teaching, no course concerning inner self-knowledge, no séance and no making of oneself conspicuous which might render a man more important in the eyes of other people
To all these endeavours, which for the most part bear within them only vanity and the seeking of one's own importance, the Laws of Creation now on the contrary bring only an inner unfulfilment, and that even to the point of despair
Where genuineness is lacking in the search for the way to the awakening of an inner living of good, there everything else has now for some time already been moving upon uncertain ground from the standpoint of the Laws of Creation
From the standpoint of the development of this universe we are upon a road where only a short time remains before much of the conduct of men on Earth hitherto is shown to them, through the threads woven by the animistic servants, as manifestly false and standing aside from any influx of blessing out of the Light
Where, however, a strong and fervent volition for good is aflame within, there the threads woven out of this kind of radiation will bring man a confirmation of the right kind
In the human spirit, so that he may rise upwards both spiritually and earthly, there is therefore to stand in the first place the pure wish for the all-embracing good
At the same time, together with this attunement, it is needful to widen one's knowledge of the work of Creation and of all that is to be found within it
For such an attunement a helping blessing is now woven out of the Light
For man it is the simple carrying out of a step which is connected with something so rare as an inner refreshing and enlightenment within him, such as bears comparison with nothing else than with the touch of the Love of God
Only then can changes begin to take place in the outer life of man as well
And it is precisely and solely the Loving-Kindness of God which streams towards the inwardly firmly resolved man who strives for the all-embracing good
Throughout this time of courageous decision it mediates to him all that is needful, so that the hands of the weavers of his further path may be permitted to bring an accelerated happening leading to liberation from the most varied hardships of life
It is not the attainment of perfection which is contained in the promise of the hundred days mentioned, but it is precisely and only the beginning itself, which will now, however, bring back the first fruits into the life of those who thus courageously strive
Completeness of human enlightenment is not to be expected therein, but woven into it, through the Loving-Kindness of God and through the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, is a change which can enter as a visible shift in the life of men
It is not spoken here of the whole attainment of all wisdom and of the whole spiritual perfection of man, but precisely of the time of the beginning of this path, which is something very important to come about in the life of man
To persevere for a hundred days in setting one's own inner being upon a peaceful harmony which in full trust rests upon the great Laws of Creation brings the first vibrations into the threads of human fate
In proportion to their perseverance these vibrations can be so strong that in the present accelerated happening they manifest themselves upon man and upon his path
It cannot be otherwise than that it will be fulfilled
If out of the inner being of man that fervent striving is laid in, to become new in his radiation of good towards the Creator and towards the whole work of Creation and all its inhabitants, then it will most certainly come
To lay aside all that disturbs peace and peacefulness within, and also all the ways of thinking about other people and about the whole of human society held hitherto, is the condition therein
In place of the ways of seeing the world held hitherto, the spirit needs to experience anew in everything around him the perfection of the work of Creation and of its Laws, and out of this living perceiving to direct his kindliness and his help towards all that is good, just as it is needful to turn away entirely from all that is ill and evil
Therein lies the foundation of the new wisdom in the man who longs to become awakened and enlightened through the fervent knowledge of the Creator and of His work
Wisdom will sooner or later appear if within there shines the glow of a living human spirit filled with hope and with trust in the victory of the Light
It will come, for by law it must come
Such is now for the human spirit the Law of liberation and of the possibility of redemption, resting in the strengthened Light of God above this Earth
The only condition therein is not to let oneself be drawn away from this path once entered upon at the first stirring of any discord, nor by returning to the already partly transformed ways of thinking about men and about the world
There comes a time of great enlightenment for all those people who open themselves inwardly to the acceptance of the all-embracing good joined with the right knowledge of the work of Creation
The knowledge of Creation and of its Laws needs only to be joined with the new disposition within the inner being of man
Only in that moment does that recognition and knowledge come upon prepared ground in the spirit, which alone is able to carry the great vistas of Creation over into life
The Truth of God about Creation needs to unite itself with the flame of the spirit which vibrates in the pure attunement of its inner and outer kindliness, and which radiates enduringly in living movement for the world around it
And this time is coming, to liberate many of those who perhaps today would not themselves yet expect that they could be among the awakened
Everything is in a great movement which is caused by the nearness of the Light above the Earth
Whoever will but see it can observe it in all that happens
Over everything there now rules worldwide a movement unprecedented until now, which with every day brings new events of unprecedented dimensions
But this happening is not only to be a confirmation of all the ancient promises which speak of the overcoming and the destruction of Antichrist, but it is at the same time also a great promise that above the Earth there rules, many times strengthened, the blessing of God for all those who still bear within them the wakeful inner flame of the spirit
The Blessing of God rests precisely in this, that much is now made easier for the beginning of a change in man for the better, if only he himself strives for it genuinely and fervently
So that all the strengthening promises to inwardly good people striving for a pure life in the spirit of the Words of the beatitudes of Christ may now be fulfilled, the hands of the Vaenen, the weavers of human fates, weave with astounding speed the threads which shortly after their arising return again to man, so that out of them the hands of the Alphar may once more form a new present
Therein is always contained everything which the human inner being needs to experience
Therefore men should concern themselves that their inner being lives enduringly in the attunement of good, for the Light brings to this kind of attunement all that is needful for it to grow strong and to ripen towards a new way of life upon this Earth
Thereby there will be set for man a visible and tangible beginning of a new and enlightened part of his earthly life
Only then comes the turn of that ripening and also of the continual settling with one's own weaknesses, which here and there may still cling to the soul covering of the spirit
That is the subsequent path, which holds within it the whole further earthly life and all that follows after it
But so that this path may press onward only upwards, through the knowledge and the wisdom of the spirit, higher towards the Light, there needs first to be set the beginning of the turning point upon the way of man
And this turning point rests in the decisive setting of one's inner attunement towards the Light, towards the good, and in a peace-filled living with other people and with the whole world
So that it may be shown to man that he has set out in the right direction, those hundred days suffice for the first perceptible threads confirming the rightness of his decision to begin returning into his life
A hundred days pass swiftly like water, so as to bring the answer to the perseverance in the courageous and voluntary attunement of good in man
If, however, after the period has elapsed nothing happens, or if for people who have already striven for something of the kind for whole years nothing of the sort still takes place, then the inner attunement of the all-embracing good is most likely not such as it should rightly be on the part of a fervent approach out of the spirit
Either the radiation of the spiritual inner being is too faint in its volition, that is, insufficient, or, most likely, it is not constant in its radiating, and such a man still often succumbs to moods and lets the outer world approach him far too easily, so that it rules him and alters his radiation
It is also possible that the inner trust in the transformation is not as strong as it rightly should be
Precisely doubts as to whether it is possible to strive towards the Light freely and with joy within then weaken in man the distinctness and the clarity of the shining of the threads, and thereby no marked manifestation of the spiritual volition can appear in return
If, however, the radiation of the spirit is clear and definite, then the promise of those hundred days will always be fulfilled in the life of man
He may take it as a certainty that this time, when it passes in the right and persevering volition of an all-embracing, peace-filled volition for good, will bring its result with unshakable certainty, however different the shape of the forms and the course of the fulfilment will be with each one of them
At bottom, however, it will always be the same, that is, the fulfilment of the return of the threads of fate, into which in some form the blessing of God will be woven, bringing confirmation of the rightness of the path entered upon
A hundred days should therefore be a support in his striving for every man who strives earnestly towards the Light
It is the beginning of the approaching manifestations of the strengthened effects of the Laws of Creation, which soak ever more strongly into the materiality of this universe
The Ray of Parzival works as an all-accelerating power out of the Divine, bringing effects of an unprecedented kind
Thus in the end all the promises of the coming of the enlightened age of the Kingdom of God on Earth will be fulfilled, whether with this or that man, or without him, if for his own part he will not have it so
It will come, so as to become the new lawful happening set for this world for the span of the thousand years that follow
As men we need to swing rightly with it already today, if we long for the blessing of God contained therein
Whoever rightly grasps this and changes himself accordingly within will recognise how great the true significance of the promise can be, that God will through His Loving-Kindness be near to all those people who strive towards Him enduringly within
As men will, so, according to the effects of the Laws of Creation, will it also come to pass for them
