A Christmas Time Filled With the Promise of Help From the Wisdom of God

When at Christmas men find at least a small portion of their time in which to attune themselves to a finer intuitive perceiving, then, if they succeed in it rightly, they will surely catch the streams of help out of the Light which at this season descend to this earth

The helps stream for all those people who are not inwardly rigid, who are not spiritually asleep

It is not, however, only that well-known softly touching Christian spirit of Christmas to which most people attune themselves at this season, but it is above all the streaming of a refreshing breath of great transformations, which now descends to the earth as a rescue for its deliverance from the threads of the erring of many people hitherto

This already foreshadows that it is a matter of helps which will bring into much of the happening a movement never seen before, much as when a fresh breath, bearing within it the streaming of air from the far distances over the open sea, suddenly bursts in over the mainland

The softness of the inward attunement needs to unite itself with the fresh power of a courageous spiritual awakening

All that does not stand firm will be struck down by this influx of the liberating Light in its first onslaught

Everything too that has hitherto stood in the way, resembling inwardly hollow structures which have only the outward semblance of worth, fashioned by human hands for the purpose of holding the attention of other people, not for real helping on the way to the Light but only for one's own self-satisfaction and for exalting oneself above others, all this will be shaken so that it collapses and is at last blown away into the past

Shaken to their very foundations through this Divinely Wise help will be so many things of which men have hitherto not even had an inkling

All this is now intensified by the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, which fulfils the promise that everything bearing a sound foundation within it will be set free in the coming changes

The Ray of Parzival does not stand alone above the universe, but is surrounded by hosts of helpers called beforehand for the fulfilling of the whole content that lies in the words of the fulfilment of the promises

Beyond all surveying are these hosts of the faithful, who carry over every single vibration of the Lord's Will for its penetration into the denser layers of matter

A luminous rampart stands within sight of this place of the materialities, so that the promised deliverance so often awaited by men may be completed also in the very essence of gross materiality

Out of the fulfilling by all the faithful servants around the Lord there now take shape those upheaving happenings and events which like a tidal wave will reach this small earth and everything that lives upon it

In the stillness of the Christmas night it is possible to catch the whisper of thousands of delicate voices, which pass it among themselves as the promise of a free breathing out

In nature, beneath the surface of an apparent stillness, there is a lively working in all places of the earth

At this year's Christmas time all the places that are again in the hands of the animistic servants are calling of it

Once again the Christmas sounding of the bells receives, in their midnight hour, a content sent down from the Light, of which they are now to proclaim to all men

This time the bells in all places on earth ring with a different kind of stroke

They call to men through the strokes of the hearts of heavy bells in the high towers of the temples all over the world

But the ringing of the smallest little bells in the homes also bears the proclamation which the hands of the Alphar weave into the vibrations of the strokes

This time it is not the call of children to the gifts beneath the Christmas tree, but it is the call of the human spirit to attentive listening

Above the earth and above the whole space of all the materialities a great proclamation resounds

“The Lamb is set free and Goliath is defeated”

“The Lamb of God comes through the Ray of Parzival to fulfilment”

Thus it sounds from the luminous hosts above the universe

In these words there is contained all that is needful for the liberation of the human spirit, if only he is able to place himself wholly into the vibrations which are borne by this call like an echo of the worlds

They are vibrations that await from the human race the awakening of an enlightened fullness of peace as a gift which one man is to bestow upon another

To this everything is now directed, and however much it leads along paths of animistic harshness, its goal is one alone: More Light on Earth

More Light is the gift now granted again by the Love of God as the way out of all distress

And for this fulfilment the Ray of Parzival will now incline itself close above the earthly world here

Through its radiation the Lamb of God will also draw near, so that everything of God's promises may be fulfilled to the very last particle

The Christmas bells and all the other sounding, humming and clamouring in the world of nature announce to the human spirit, even before the approaching Festival of the Radiant Star, the coming of great changes

And at last even the softest whisper of the moss, and the night wind sweeping through the green leaves of the mysterious mistletoe on the trees, and all the others too among the animistic servants already know it and announce it, that the Lamb of God is coming into the nearness of the earth

The call bears within it the command for the human spirit at last to find for himself new inspirations for the true adoration of the Creator and of both Sons sent out by Him into the far distances of Subsequent Creation

None of the carols hitherto sung by men holds within it enough of the pure knowledge needed for the present time that is now dawning

The new adoration of the Creator, which will be acknowledged by the Light, lies only in the deeds of men

Only deeds bearing within them the manifestation of the clear will of an awakened spiritual life will be marked as worthy of the blessing of the Light

For this the Alphar have many gifts for every human spirit who lays himself into a new striving to live in the fullness of peace

They can spin them into the threads of human fate, but only when the Lord consents to it

Beside the Lord stands the Lamb of God, showing the Justice of God the way through the Love of God, which beholds even the smallest flashes of Light in the inner being of man

If men were permitted to behold that blessing which is made ready for everyone who inwardly longs for there to be more Light on earth, and who on his own part also does everything so that this longing may find visible forms, then they would occupy themselves first of all only with seeking out where they themselves can manifest again and again in their life a pure volition for good towards their fellow men

Obduracy, having its origin only in cold intellectuality, would swiftly dissolve, so that the ways between the human spirit and the earthly body might become luminous and allow more Light to stream through every human being

It is already high time to resolve upon a visible veneration of God through conduct filled with goodness

For this a multitude of threads is made ready for everyone, which can manifest it to man in an immeasurably joyful happening, if he fits himself into it with his spirit

It may be called the greatest gift of these Christmas feast days if this time becomes for men a well-used preparation for the coming Festival of the Grail, the Festival of the Love of God

And all the happening in nature will now help man, so that in fleeing beneath the protection of God he may again learn to know and to venerate his Creator

It will not, however, be only a short time during which men would become inwardly open in trembling and apprehension, but it will last long, so long until for those who awaken it becomes something abiding that moves into their home, interpenetrates their daily work and sits down with them at table whenever they come together with others for a meal

Into all their doing a conscious veneration of the Creator is now to be interwoven by men, as the condition for a bestowal from the weavers of the threads of their fate

That bestowal spoken of does not take the form of showering man merely with pleasant experiences that give joy, but the true bestowal granted by the Love of God lies in opportunities for the redeeming of past threads

Redemption from past threads is for the spirit that which helps him, which sets him free, provided that every such opportunity is fully used in a wakeful attunement of man

That means to carry within oneself an abiding attitude of a good and pure kind

Only in such a vibrating can the human spirit then fully receive and also rightly use the gifts which the Alphar weave into his guidance as a help in his gaining of maturity, and thereby also as a strengthening in his walking upward towards the spiritual heights

It is not hard, and yet it slips through men's fingers

Every flash of a thought, every word spoken towards another, every judgment about other people that is uttered or written down is an opportunity to change one's attitude towards a better and nobler manner of spiritual being

At the same time the surroundings of a man who acts thus are made luminous and uplifted thereby

It is a tending of this world, which was entrusted to men by God

The tending of the state of this world is literally laid into the hands of every single human spirit

This world can become as a whole a stronghold of peace, where in the first place men's divine service consists in their active creating in the upbuilding carried out in the spirit of the Wisdom of God

From the care for this world not one of the people who are here is exempt

The share in the raising or in the debasing of this world is woven into the threads of every human being either as a blessing or as a guilt demanding redemption

Through the fact that men can meet one another here, countless opportunities are given them for a thousand redemptions of the past in a symbolic manner, which lies in maintaining noble conduct

It is always possible to raise the worth of another person or of some matter higher, if we approach them with the resolve not to cause harm through slander or insult, nor even in thoughts to shake the worth bound up with his person

When Jesus spoke of His hearers following Him in the acceptance of His Word of Truth, there was meant thereby by the Son of God, among other things, precisely such a dealing with other people that no injury be caused to a fellow man, and that in such dealing there be contained no baseness at all and no besmirching of anything whatever

One need only look at how many new gifts are daily set before every human being in this by the Alphar, who often bring together people wholly unknown to one another, so that the human spirit may prove in his approach to his fellow men that he is already further in this, that he has been able to raise himself above the general baseness and coarseness of society

In reality these are not merely insignificant trifles, as is generally supposed, but there is contained in them an unimaginably great blessing which may unite itself with the path of every human spirit who betters himself in this and thereby becomes a good steward and husbandman with his thoughts and with his conduct

It is strange how frivolously wakeful intuitive perceiving is often left aside during the time of Christmas visits and meetings among men, and how many people are unable to raise themselves higher in their thinking and their conduct towards the purity and the nobility of character of their own selves

Far more would be given than through material gifts if in men's dealings with one another a state of attunement were maintained in which, together with joyfulness, genuine reverence and thereby nobility of character reigned, without anyone having on that account to become cramped and aloof from the others

If men speak of peace in the time of Christmas on earth, then they are to bear this peace within themselves through the abiding vibration of their spirit, which lives in peace, which is penetrated not only with the longing to help materially, but which deals respectfully and honourably with all, thus also with those whom it perhaps does not quite regard as its near ones, or sees for the time being as people of another kind, or even holds to be adversaries, and which, despite all lack of understanding for their impulses, takes up its attitude towards them without harming their reputation and their worth

To such a manner of life all the bells now call in their Christmas ringing

Therein lies the victory of the Lamb of God over the adversary of God, over the Antichrist

It is given to men also as an opportunity, for it holds good that only through the manner of goodness in men can the Light overcome evil down to the smallest little threads still dwelling on this earth

The ennobling of all manners of thinking and of conduct remains in the hands of men themselves

The more people strive for good and noble thoughts and deeds, the more swiftly and the more directly will the whole earthly world of men grow bright as well

Whoever therefore repays evil with evil and slander with slander, whoever still lives in the belief that the world can move further if an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth continues to hold good, he has not yet stepped beyond the vicious circle of mankind in which men have been drowning for millennia

There is no other way out than that spiritual humanity too needs to join itself to the Light in an ever greater host

Therefore this earthly world of men needs to raise itself out of superficial commonness and baseness higher towards an all-embracing goodness, forgiveness and nobility of character, which is to well up out of the inner being of man to meet all that comes to him

Only thereby will men join themselves to the host of the luminous ones who accompany the Lord to this earth

Then too the gate will be able to be opened for the full flowing of helps out of the Wisdom of God to their spirits, and they will be able to be enlightened

Whoever longs for the nearness of the Light of God is to occupy himself with this, using for it the present attunement which hovers above the earth in the time of preparation for the Festival of the Radiant Star
