The Fulfilment of Endlessness

The promise of the endlessness of being that rests in the core of man is reality

Yet if this promise is to reach fulfilment, it is conditional upon following the wise lawfulness of the great work of Creation

A further condition is one's own free independence in setting out upon this way

Nor is anyone to be persuaded, for it is unworthy to persuade a man of something that is so deeply native to his inner being

If a man has perhaps come to the decision that he wishes to reject the prospect of the possibility of endless duration, or if he has no volition to awaken the recognition of this way, or if he does not long to fulfil the necessary conditions of movement in unfolding his spiritual powers – his intuition – so that he may one day really attain the state of the endlessness of being in the heights of the true home, then such a one is to be left to his own way

Everything is simple, translucently recognisable and understandable in the highest measure

Endlessness can be attained by every human being, but he himself must develop the movement of his own volition, so that the great predispositions bestowed in him for this by the Creator may grow strong

Others may inspire and support him in this striving, but no one may compel his neighbour, or push him forward against his will

In the Laws of Creation one thing holds good for ever: worth and value lie in one's own independent, free decision, and in the perseverance of the movement with which the way is fulfilled

It is not hard, but those who are truly indolent and weak set themselves aside, and in the end will not attain existence in the splendour of the spiritual home

Without the participation of the inner will, without the effort developed out of oneself, the splendour of unending duration remains for man an offered prospect – but a prospect that is not fulfilled by him

The path of life of such a man thereby becomes a path that has itself appointed its own end, with the consequence that no later change is possible once the ending of a man's existence has been reached in the Laws of Creation

The end of being in the spiritual dimension takes from man for ever the possibility of changing again, of deciding perhaps to continue further in his existence

The end of spiritual being is thus, in its fulfilment, a real end, without the possibility of reversing this state

It is the striking-out from the living cycle of being in the glorious work of Creation

It is worth striving towards the prospect of a life that can develop and grow strong without limits, without boundaries that would decree the exhaustion of the splendour and bliss inseparably bound up with the endless duration of man's spiritual essence

The state of endless duration, which is the promised prospect for everyone, is always bound up with the fully conscious, supreme unfolding of man's powers on the steps of his inner existence, and with this unfolding of the spiritual kind is bound up the experiencing of joy, happiness, fulfilment, harmony

It is not an endless being in suffering, pain and privation, in which no one longs to dwell

The experiences of often desolate struggle and futility are bound only to the steps of life in the material parts of Subsequent Creation

Out of these planes of heaviness, pain and ageing, of earthly death and decay, the inner being of man is meant to rise – in the just working of the Laws of Creation, which watch over his ennoblement, purity and maturity – to the gates of the true spiritual home, into the blissful plane of the Light and of translucence

Ascent, progress, the winning of maturity and wisdom is the capacity of man's spiritual essence, and it is fulfilled in accord with the harmony of the work of Creation

The liberation to lasting existence in joyful creating thus lies in the hands of every human being

It is supremely important to understand rightly that earthly life is only one section of the great way of the spirit, but that this place can become for each of us the great turning point, if we exert the utmost effort here on earth to recognise and fulfil the real meaning of our existence

Upon this way of the spirit we all set out long ago, in the longing for the fulfilment of our maturity and for a full share in the harmony of the blissful planes of the spiritual home

To become aware of this, and to continue courageously forward with new resolve, is therefore the most natural and rightest thing that can be done at this very hour

Let us not hesitate, but exert our powers of good volition to draw nearer to the promise of the endlessness of being, which rests in the pure unfolding of the abilities of our spiritual core

The Laws of Creation, working as great, just helps prepared for man by the Grail, smooth the way for everyone who earnestly strives therein
